Does Crank normally come in the 2-disc case even though it's only 1 disc? Wanna cover my base incase I have to make an exchange and they start asking me for a non-existent second disc.
Does this happen to you often?
Does this happen to you often?
Nah, first time I've received a one-disc set in a two-disc case. I won't be able to watch the movie for awhile, so in case a problem arises with the disc, I don't want them accusing me of keeping a non-existent second disc.
Does anybody remember which B&M retailer price matched Target.com prices?
I have managed to get BB and CC to do PM of Target.com, but I am sure that it is pretty much YMMV.
Face/Off HD DVD $19.99 Regularly goes for $27.99-29.99 since its a Paramount title.
Up to $20.95. With shipping, it'll be about what I'd pay for it at Best Buy with the missus' discount.

It does have a MSRP of $36.99, which is a little strange. I'm thinking (hoping rather), it'll sell for $24.99 at retail, $20 at amazon.com when its release.
I wish there was a HDDVD/BluRay subforum instead of this 2000-post thread.
Surprised there isn't one already. Good idea.

2nd'd

What do you mean by sub-forum?

I think this one is fine, deals don't come that often. And it's only a matter checking back a couple pages if you've been out of the loop.

Another vote to keep them together here.

Lots of people here are neutral anyway.
And many times you'll see stores doing two sales for each format.

I stop by maybe once a week. I like to see what's new. In a week there are easily 100+ posts, far too many to read. Since this thread has grown and HD deals have become more common, I've stopped keeping track.

If you check in every day I'm sure it's not that bad... but not everyone has time for that. But the masses guide, and it seems I'm the minority.

yea i agree. i used to be able to check every day or two and it was fine. but 2 weeks gone and its a little overwhelming.

Damn, what the heck?
Almost everyone here wanted one thread that said something.

Or a new thread that had both as both as this one had grown pretty large.

And you still split them anyway?

Yeah, I would like my one thread....look what I started :)

Now, someone has to start a Blu-Ray one apparently....or just lock this and start fresh again.

You just check a few posts back to see what's what.

And if not for that Frys sale a few days ago, this thread went like 3 or 4 days without a SINGLE post.

Jeeze.

It's nowhere near as rapid fire as you or the other guy claim.
But two weeks, yeah, expect some posts, just read back a few.

he said he could always put it back. its a trial to see how it goes. too bad theres not a way where every post in the HD DVD or BD specific deals thread automatically got added to a dual format deals thread so that every1 has their pref.

It doesn't matter so much to me either way, really, but if you have a backlog of posts to read of a week or two, it's pretty much useless anyway since most of the deals we've been posting last only a week at most.
