The A3 doesn't come with one, unless Costco packs one in with it like they did with the A2. Monoprice.com is your best bet. Since you're in Murrietta, shipping will be quick because the store is located in Rancho Cucamonga I think.

I'm hoping someone could help me out. I just bought my first HD player(Toshiba A2) and noticed how slow it seems when navigating through the menu or pausing and resuming etc. Are all HD players like that or will it help to buy a different model??
 
If you're talking about in-movie menus, then it's a movie thing. Not that you've got a defective disc or anything, but all HD discs in general will feature some slowdown due to the real-time clips in each frame during scene selection.

yea thats my prob.. when bitstream is selected, my receiver takes it as dts.. pcm is supposed to be 2 channel.. i assume my receiver is outputting it as pro logic 2(ghetto 5.1)

Though the A3 shows up at $299 on the ad its currently still showing up as $199 @ BestBuy.com and the 3 free movie deal is now in effect! Still works on pre-orders.

EDIT: Instead of exchanging my defective one, I'm going to return it and re-order it online later with Shrek The Third, Old School, and Bourne Ultiamtum.
 
for those of us who bought the 360 HD DVD drive last week, anyone know if Best Buy is likely to cough up that 3rd free title, if we come back with our receipt? i already opened my drive and discs, so i can't really return any of it if they say "no". anyone here work at BB? it seems reasonable for them to honor the latest deal, but then, BB isn't always reasonable.
 
Yet another crazy HD DVD deal... MAN! I have purchased so many players and hd dvds already...then I return because a better deal pops up 12 hrs later. I don't even know if I want to take advantage of the a3 deal now because tomorrow a better deal will show up some how.. Ayy!

Monoprice is about $11 shipped for 1 cable, Meritline you get 2.
 
With the HD formats getting more popular, I think its time we unleash the deals into the forum, and not keep them bunched up in a single thread.
