With the season 2 debacle being released on dvd this month, and a 3hr premiere for season 3 comming up next month, I thought Id get the ball rolling.

Ive checked out a couple of the webisodes, somewhat interested but Ill hold official judgement later.

Im mostly interested in seeing Hiro vs "the flash" with boobs. The small clip they showed of him stopping time to chase her down by following her "wake" that she left behind was interesting. For the time being thats his arch enemy.

Also through another clip Im kinda glad theyre going to do another "future" episode. I really did like the one they did in season 1 and kinda hoped they do more or follow up etc. Maybe show how things changed for that timeline once Peter didnt take out NY like he did.

As a side note, not that anyone will give a rats ass, I collect the Heroes trading cards. Uploaded pics to my albums.

That reminds me I need to find time to watch season 1. Picked it up for $20 around Christmas last year but haven't got around to watching any of it yet. Also picked up all 6 seasons of Scrubs for $20 a piece last spring and haven't touched them either.

Limted free time and been spending to much on gaming since getting a 360 last fall where as before most of that time on gaming went to watching DVDs.

After the huge apology we got for Season 2, and with the writers strike, they decided against putting out anymore episodes after the strike to go back an concentrate on season 3 and try to bring back some of the magic from season 1.

I hope they can do this as Season 2 was a huge disappointment.

I know Season 2 was no where near as awesome as Season 1, but I liked it a lot more than most of my buddies. I've been re-watching the episodes on the TiVo an it's grown on me. Perhaps I was satisfied because Sylar was killing people with blunt objects. Who needs super powers when you have a brick?

A future episode will be fantastic and I'm excited to see what villains will appear. Also, I would like to know what Ms. Petrelli's power is, or did I miss that?

I liked season 2 as well. I thought the Maya/Alejandro/Sylar angle went on WAY too long.

Didnt explain what specifically exactly happened to Sylar between season 1 and where he ended up at season 2. Or maybe they did and I forgot.

If they did, I missed it as well.

Being a fan of Howard Stern, I loved it when George Takei is on and one of the times he had mentioned we would finally see what his "power" was. Again, unless I missed it, they didnt show what his was, and that was something I was really looking fwd to.

well allegedly in there hiatus, they wrote a bible/timeline of the series. So hopefully it will be more on point.

I liked the first season, but IMO the show is highly overrated. Considering the abilities that the characters have, I would hope for more action. Yes I know it is a drama about the the characters coming to grips with there abilities, but the action sequences they have considering the budget they have gotten have been rather weak.

I have only seen the Snake baddie. He looked interesting, but seemed liked more of a henchmen than leader, though.

While I really don't like Maya or how the season finale felt rushed, I thought Season 2 was solid. Plus, it had Kristen Bell, and she's just tops.

I think it's a 3hr premiere because the first hour will be filled with a recap thing. Don't they do the same thing with Lost every year?

I enjoyed season 2 for the most part, and I'm really looking forward to this.

I can understand what Chibi is saying, I bet a lot of the beginning will be a huge recap. I mean, it's been so long I can only partly remember S2, let alone S1

I really liked Sylar last season, he came off as much more evil even without his powers, with funniest death being the pocket knife scene. My real complaint with the season was Hiro's trip to Japan, christ did that drag on entirely too long with a weak payoff . Mrs Petrelli's power is still a no show , though I think
It has something to do with persuasion, when she was talking to Nathan's wife she made a big deal out of touching her arm

I'm looking forward to it. Though I do have to admit, I almost lost interest in the series during the season 2. I'd like to see more fighting using powers more in the next season.

Season 2 really messed up with the whole Mr. Petrelli issue. And now they've gone even farther by throwing incest in the mix:

They said that both Adam & Mr. Petrelli were in "the picture". This would mean that Adam Monroe is either a young looking guy with an almost shaved head (Mr. Petrelli), an old fart (Linderman), or a fat hispanic guy (Oscar Mendez - the painter's father). I'd say looking at Adam, its easy to choose which one he is and which one Mr. Petrelli is.

But now in one of the graphic novels, they revealed that Adam in a past generation was with a woman with the last name of Sanders, which essentially means that when Nikki had sex with Nathan, she was sleeping with her half brother... Gross.

I really hope they fix some of the holes they made in the 2nd season, but from the spoiler I read for the first episode, its just going to get more confusing with time travel paradoxes and the dead coming back to life.

I watched Heroes from the beginning to the end of season 2 for the first time a few months back. I really liked Season 1 except for the last episode. I liked how season 2 started off, but then it started to go bad (especially the whole Hiro going to the past thing). Still, the story with Claire and her father was interesting except her boyfriend was sort of annoying.

Also, I never understood how Sylar's powers works.

Also with Hiro, if he has the power to time travel, can't he just go back in time and stop the Company in the past? Or couldn't he just have stopped them from developing the virus?

I loved the Hiro going into the past storyline but I do agree that it went on a bit too long.

Ananag-
You would think that about Hiro but then again that would just make things too easy lol.

No, that would alter too much and change the future in weird and wacky ways
Also, I never understood how Sylar's powers works.
You'll see this really in depth in the first episode of the new season. He basically studies their brain and finds out what makes their powers happen and takes them for his own

He gets Claire's powers by splitting her head open while she's still alive and literally studies her brain while its still in her head.

Also with Hiro, if he has the power to time travel, can't he just go back in time and stop the Company in the past? Or couldn't he just have stopped them from developing the virus?

There would be no plot if he did that. Trust me, you're going to have enough time paradoxes with the first episode.

There are 2 or 3 Peter Petrellis

But are they going to explain how he "takes" them or "copies" them?

with the alternate future thing,

reminds me of xmen, days of the future past (i think thats what its called)
bishop keeps going back to the past to change the future, but everytime he does
he fucks something up, hahaha. i duno, it would be cool tho

i still want parkman to be a bad guy. and i wonder if that invisible guy is comin back..
But are they going to explain how he "takes" them or "copies" them?
Well, the theory is that like he could tell what makes a watch tick, he could tell what caused their powers, and tweaked his own brain into doing the same thing. They find out another way that people can get powers, but I don't want to spoil too much for the first episode.

It does look like they're completely ignoring the whole Mr. Petrelli being in the picture thing. They just cast the guy who will be playing Mr. Petrelli and he in no way could pass as a past, present, or future Adam Monroe...

I've been reading more and more spoilers and I keep getting more and more dissapointed. I'm half expecting everyone to die then they fade to Peter in the shower as Claire runs up to him to tell him about this dream she had.

Is there anywhere to read up on what they had planned for the 2nd half of season 2?

A friend of mine was telling me for the most part that Maya was gonna be the savior of the Shanti Virus. Then her and Mohinder would "fall in love".

Just finished season 2. I thought it wasn't that bad, not as good as the first but still very good. Season 1 question
How did Nathan flew away from Noah and the Haitian if the Haitian can stop powers from being used if he's around? This happen after he slept with Nikki and was running away in his pj.

Wasn't there suppose to be a Heroes show spin off?

I always questioned that myself.

Dont quote me on this but-
The "spin off" was suppose to be shown during the summer after season 2 but when the strike cut season 2 short, that shot everything to hell. If I remember correctly it was rumored that there would be somewhere between 6 to 8 episodes with each one focusing on one specific "new" character. After all of the episodes were shown, we would vote online or something along those lines about which character we liked the most and that person would become a "main cast" person for season 3.

As far as season 2 goes, I wont spoiler it because its been shown and out and about long enough that people that wanted to see it, saw it.

Everyone in the "company" group photo is accounted for except the Petrelli dad, and the woman on the other side of Deveraux ?SP? so Im a bit curious what route theyre gonna take with that.

Finished Season 1 on DVD last night, and bought Season 2 at target. Will see if I can power through it before next week. Only 11 episodes, but will be tough as I'm heading out of town on Friday and have a ton of work to do before then.

Also, in regards to the bonus "alternate ending" of season 2
Im glad it ended the way it did because I probably might have actually taken a shit on the season had they gone with the virus getting out.

Also, judging by the season 3 sneek peek, am I the only one that thinks that future Peter is the one that shot Nathan? Maybe thats how they wanted it to look..dunno.

The Hatian didn't bother turning his power on, too caught up in the moment or whatever.
it looks like nathan is alive somehow, he's in the season 3 preview screens at least
Interesting. :whistle2:k

I expected him to live. Perhaps he was saved by an invisible, death god who has turned him into an Archangel-like character (the Horsemen Death), and will return with metal wings and a weird skull-cap suit?

...

Or maybe not.

I'd heard that Kevin Smith was supposed to have been involved in the little summer mini season. Shame it never happened.

Id assume with Adam's blood, he may pull through quicker....no time table given on how long that extra boost of super blood lasts.

Did anyone pick this up in Bluray yet? I am going to buy it in Bluray as long as I know it looks good in HD, If not I'll just spend 30 bucks on the DVD's.
Directing/writing or as an actor?

I suppose he could be the... Juggernaut-like character?
Director i believe, maybe writer.
