Heroes Volume 3: Villains
Didn't Peter get his power back though after Arthur died? I thought I saw the light go into him.
That light was the "catalyst" escaping from Arthur's body.
Does anyone think it's possible that...

...even though Arthur is not Sylar's father, Angela actually is his mother? The only question that was answered with a lie, as we know thanks to Sylar's new power, was "are you my father?" Maybe he's going to find Angela next to ask her if she's his mother.
I know that is what I was thinking, we already know Angela had a relationship with Hiro's father at some point , maybe she did have a kid by another guy. Arthur just keeps using his power from then on out to keep her in line. I think either way heads are going to roll once Sylar gets the answer, even if true I don't think he is going to have some loving family moment anymore.

anyone get the feeling that hiro is going to free Takezo Kensei again? I mean he's still the same person, and at the point in time hiro is at, he's still in the ground. The whole time traveling thing messes up the plot so badly.

I think that's one reason they've written out the time traveling ability for the most part. And if he did free Kensei, wouldn't that negate everything that happened after Arthur was revived?

Errr wha? At the point in time Hiro is in Kensei is in the primatech prison. What would freeing him achieve ? They talk about old times before trying to kill each other?
so.. how did the haitian and peter get back to america so fast?
just like how nurse peter became an expert with automatic rifles and guns, they probably stole someones private jet and flew to new york. wait.. texas? or is it california??

Wow, Hiro's mom is a MILF.

Also, even though I understand that Arthur can time-travel thanks to Peter's encounter with Hiro, how the fuck did he know where to be to take the catalyst!?

Well, he does have the African's powers of foresight, but in the same aspect, he should've seen the Hatian coming.

Another issue im thinking of, is that as soon as the hatian walks away, Arthur's powers will go back into effect and even though he's dead (like Claire was) as long as his powers re-activate, so will he. I wonder if they'll behead him or what.

why speculate on this show when they can do whatever they want with the plot.. did one person here think Sylar was dead last week? do you even think Kristen Bell is definitely dead???
do you even think Kristen Bell is definitely dead???
No because Sylar's super sperm gave her the ability to regenerate.
No because Sylar's super sperm gave her the ability to regenerate.
it probably did!
Well, he does have the African's powers of foresight, but in the same aspect, he should've seen the Hatian coming.
Wasn't there a scene at the beginning of the episode that showed him snapping out of the foresight power (white eyes etc.)?

You're right on the second point, but that's easy enough to blow off as he just didn't have that vision as he wasn't always using his power like the African or Isaac. So just shit luck. :D

LOL now they are using magic!!! LOL at the marine breaking the chair AND throwing it through the glass!!! Rawrrrrr!!!! I'm super strong!!!!! Let me break shit to show you how bad-ass I am!!!! This show is freaking hilarious! At least Sylar was back to being a cold blooded killer - I'm not sure if his character is forever tainted though thanks to the last 10 episodes or so. He switches sides at the drop of a hat - it's just so ridiculous.

I completely felt the same way. After all that's happened, I'm not quite sure that we're not watching "Charmed". The Catalyst is a magic golden light? WTF?

I'm glad Sylar's back to first season form too, and that's saying something, because last season I thought he was the most pathetic one-note character.

The one thing we can all agree on is... Raawwwrrrr!

And thus, Captain America was born. I can't wait for shield-slinging action next week!

Well, Claire couldn't come back with the branch still in her body, and neither could Peter with the glass. So, as long as the bullet is still in Arthur's brain, he should stay dead.
That light was the "catalyst" escaping from Arthur's body.
That or his last meal was a string of self-powered Christmas lights.

1. Future vision.

2. Invisibility.

3. Time travel.
No because Sylar's super sperm gave her the ability to regenerate.
That actually sounds plausible in the Heroes world.

---

This episode was a step in the right direction. As soon as Arthur stole Hiro's power, I knew he was going to die. That was when his character became omnipotent, and needed to be removed from the series.

I enjoyed the return of serial killer Sylar. I also liked how Sylar intervened, said Peter is not a killer, and killed Arthur. Sylar's return is a step in the right direction.

Positive notes aside, I wonder how Daphne is able to take passengers with her during her superhuman runs. :whistle2:k

Also, I wonder if they're going to elaborate on Future Claire visiting Past HRG. I find it odd how HRG never brought up her visit, if he realized it was her, or a visit from a mysterious stranger. :whistle2:k :whistle2:k

They've made it clear that Sylar is only out to take the powers of everyone, not just kill indiscriminately for the hell of it. Not that that makes him any less evil, but at least there's a reason behind his killing.

Then why did he kill Veronica Mars? He had her power already ;)

If was him, i wouldve taken out the Haitian while i was there - then took Arthur's power(s).

Because she was a lying bitch and he couldn't trust her. As for the second part , Arthur showed earlier he could whip Sylar without trying, the Haitian was the only thing holding Arthur back, it was either kill him there or risk trying to fight him later.

I meant kill Arthur, immediately flick haitian out the window, then take the powers.

Because if he took Arthur's power he no longer would have a reason to rip skulls off, like he showed this episode he needed to do it bad

Seriously though maybe he needs the brains intact, since Arthur's were lining the wall he couldn't "read" them and the only way to fix that would be to take out the bullet, leading to Arthur getting up and monkey stomping him. He cut his losses and got the hell out of there

Ehhh, well he could still flick the Haitian out the window, and then go steal his powers outside. That would be a nice power to add to his arsenal, so then people like Hiro and Daphne couldn't teleport/run away.

At least twice in every episode this year, a character is determined to do one thing and then another character easily convinces them to do the exact opposite with one weak argument. It is so sad how bad this season has been.

Oh I agree Sylar should have either taken his power or killed him outright. But sometimes I wonder if he even can, during that season one future episode Sylar had 4 years to go after him but never did. Then this season in another terrible future the Haitian still comes out smelling like roses. My guess is when he dies it will be caused by something completely out of the blue.
Then why did he kill Veronica Mars? He had her power already ;)
Also, while Sylar spared the guy in the elevator, it was suggested he killed the co-workers who stumbled upon him exploring Lie Detector Girl. :whistle2:k

Car accident. The Haitian doesn't also negate damage. Unfortunately. :whistle2:(
If Sylar managed to steal the powers of every empowered person on earth, i wonder would he stop killing at that point?
No, because he could then travel to the past and steal their powers again.

The writer's response to Chase: Stupid humanz and dare linear intippingtashun of tym. I write wot I wan.

Kinda weird having Sylar as the comedic relief in the episode, but I enjoyed it.

As for Hiro, I kinda want something really bad to happen to him so he becomes all cool and ninja and uses an outdated, short-range weapon in a modern world.

Anyone else find it kinda funny that a guy who got his abilities in the 4400 by taking a shot just did the same thing in Heroes?
Anyone else find it kinda funny that a guy who got his abilities in the 4400 by taking a shot just did the same thing in Heroes?
Thats why he looked familiar. I couldn't remember what show I saw him on before.

Friend of mine has been saying for awhile now Heroes is ripping off the show right and left, I never got past the first season of 4400 though so means nothing to me.

Another solid episode. Glad the Hiro in the past storyline was over quickly. Peter has power back (at least one).

Wasn't expecting to see the end of Volume 3 "Villains"at the end, but good to move on from this story line and on to Volume 4 "Fugitives." Will be interesting to see what happens with Nathan goign to the government and asking them to round up and capture everyone with powers.

Holy. Shit. What an awesome episode. Not only did they kill off some more useless characters, but it's a great lead in to the new season. I just hope they give Hiro his powers back and make him grow up a little more though.

Oh, and Ando's new power = awesome.

I think the most redeeming part of the entire episode was Hiro punching Tracy in the face.

Though I do hope he gets his powers back. Are we to assume that the formula simply gave Peter his own powers back? It would make sense since the only power nearby for him to copy would be Nathan's.

WHAT THE fuck.

I'm normally not one to nitpick the show and have been supporting it (mostly) but can we talk about the truck sized hole that we just saw?

The end of last episode saw Sylar assist in the Arthur kill and walk further into Pinehurst after telling Peter "you have nothing I want" with the Haitian right behind him.

Pinehurst is in New Jersey. This episode sees Sylar in Odessa Texas. So either Sylar picked up some incredibly fast moving power, or we have a gap of time and space here. That episode seemed to pick up right away, unless Peter was sitting in the room with his dead father for a long ass time.

At least the premise of Volume 4 looks amazing. Sucks that Nathan is the one selling everyone out, but it's a good storyline I think. Nathan and Sylar flip flopped too quickly but it seems to have ended up well.

While I was hoping for a little bit better ending to the half season, I knew it would leave me wanting the next half to start right away. So, what like almost two months to wait? At least there's more to come.

That cut on his face didn't heal, so yes i'm inclined to believe his power got reset. Which would be the only way he would be weak enough to be taken captive next season if he gets caught.

Yeah, Hiro punching Tracy was great after he'd been punched like that so many times in the series. :D

And I agree, I think Peter just got his copy powers ability back.

Where most of the primatech stuff goes down is in their New York facility, which (according to the Heroes wiki) is in Hartsdale NY, which isn't that far.
