It may be a futile, doomed effort, but they aren't killing and totally orphaning the Touchpad. Yeah, it's going to be limited, but it's ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! A 9.7" tablet with Gorilla Glass screen for a C-note. Hell, I'm gonna get one just cuz! There's a Kindle app, so BAM!!! $100 eReader!

I already ordered a 32gb one from HP's site along with a roll of paper and used the coupon but my status is still being verified. Got a 32 in my cart from Office Depot right now and deciding to order one just in case. Say HP's order goes through, can I return my Office Depot one in store?
 
I wouldnt trust any of the online orders right now - their stock cant be as massive as the amount of people ordering right now. I would check in store tomorrow if you see any in stock around you
 
I'm not seeing another site offering the reduced prices yet besides OfficeDepot.

The prices at NewEgg, Walmart, OfficeMax all continue to list $399.99 and $499.99.

Anybody own both tablet pc and tablet? Which 1 is better? Reason I ask because I owe a tablet pc but never tablet. Never see the reason to splung 500 on a big screen phone.

I have a plan, lol. Hit up Walmart, Staples, and then OfficeDepot. Hoping to score at Walmart so I can get some sleep! Lol, this sale is going to kill me. They all open an hour after another so why not right?
 
Put an order down at Office Depot for the 32GB. I would not be surprised if they can't fill all the orders and end up cancelling my order, but no big deal, it's not like I really need a tablet anyway.

I had one of each in my OD cart and when I came back from adding my g/f's addy for shipping, the 32GB was OOS. I'm not happy to overpay $30 for this, but I'm taking a bird-in-hand and go to bed (it's 4:30 am and I'm beat from work and had a few beers) approach. I may get up and hit Beast Buy in the AM or see if anyone else online has then for the proper $99 price. At worst, I take it back to a B&M store and get a refund or see if CL wants it.

Dealing with insomnia tonight and ended up going for a drive. After about a 20 minute drive I ended up driving by 2 different Best Buy stores. There was a line of 10+ people at each store. Already. Craziness.

The HP Touchpad is only available for 3-Day shipping, I checked their FAQ and it seems like any product that qualified for 1-day should have automatically done it. The 3-day shipping symbol appears when an item does not qualify. But like I mentioned...their 3 day shipping is more like 1 1/2 week shipping.
