I didn't find this week's episode of South Park very funny. I'm not into scat so it got really hard to watch. I had to turn my head numerous times.

I haven't heard day 1 yet. Day 0 kicked ass though. It was really funny. They had a great three-minute bit about Peter Molyneux being sat down in a board room and having to be convinced not to do Milo.

There are two copies of Vanquish, one for the PS3 and one for 360, for $14.98 at the York West, PA Target if anyone in the area is interested.
 
I might have to head that way myself. Not sure where York West is though (is that the store near Best Buy near Mt.Zion Rd?). For $15, I may have to bite on it.

Unless #83 wouldn't mind picking it up for me. Can't remember offhand if anybody else requested Vanquish or not.
 
Is it just me or is this the worst E3 in years? Aside from stuff I already knew about, almost everything shown that I want is a game from last generation. The Vita looks cool, but they need more software. There really was a significant lack of software announcements this year. I can't think of a single game that premiered that I have to have.

The only games I think I am going to buy at full price are MGS collection, Gears, and Battlefield.

Having a lot of fun with Bulletstorm. I wish it had co-op though.

I think it was a pretty soild E3. There was nothing mind blowing but there were a lot of good games announced or shown off. And all the Vita stuff had me drooling.

I agree. I plan on picking up MGS, ZOE, ICO/SOTC. All that I've already played on PS2. The only new games I plan on picking up are BF3, MW3, Gears, and Skyrim. There was little to no surprises. The biggest surprise was Halo 4 and that got ruined by some bad interns at Xbox.com.

Saw your post after I posted. You did say $7.98 and if it's $14.98...didn't know if you had a ceiling for how high you wanted to go or not.

And yes, Bulletstorm is awesome. Got it as a gift back in April and I enjoyed every minute of it.

There's a lot of good shit, but most of it was already known.

For me, whether I'm picking them up day one or not, these definitely have my interest:

GoW: Origins (Haven't played)
MGS HD Collection (Haven't played Peace Walker)
ZOE HD Collection (Haven't played)
Silent Hill HD Collection (Only played SH2 until the first Pyramid Head boss fight in the stairwell, never touched SH3)
Gears 3
Uncharted 3
Vita w/ Uncharted, SSHD: Delta, Dragon's Crown, LBP, etc.
Arkham City (trying to stay media blackout for this one)

There could be more that I forgot as well...

I have caught the buzz that the game is looking fuckin' excellent though.
I know there's playable catwoman of some sort... can't say that does anything for me.

I didn't think so either, but after seeing her at the E3 trailer, she looks more fun to play as over Batman.
 
So I tried to dl my free games from sony, and it said some shit about being activated on 5 ps3s. What do I do?

The problem with that list is that most of those are PS2 or PSP games. I am not knocking your list because I want a lot of those games, but it is just kind of sad that there was nothing new. No new shit from Valve and Rockstar ruined E3 for me.
 
They need to drop everything they're doing and fucking make Half Life 3. Wait...are they still planning on making Episode 3?

I don't think anyone knows. At this point they better be making Half Life 3, and they better not fuck it up. That talk of co-op really scares me. Half Life 3 is about Freeman, not Freeman and his sidekick. I can't believe it has almost been seven years since 2 came out.

Yeah, there is a healthy number of remakes in there, but if they're good games, I'm okay with that... especially if I haven't played them. ;)

I know what you mean though... and if you're not into fighting games, you can drop half the good shit (including shit I forgot, like TTT2).

I like it, save for two things.

1. I feel like there's a rattlesnake behind every blade of...well...I wouldn't call it grass...it's wheat looking shit.

2. I keep getting vertigo from it being so damn flat. I'm not used to it yet.
 
This E3 wasn't great for surprises, but I cant wait to get my hands on Gears 3, Skyrim, BF3, Assassin's Creed, Rage, Batman, Saint's Row, Halo CE and Uncharted 3. (and probably MW3).

Prototype 2 was at least known to be in development... interesting choice... first game was fun at times... surprised they chose to make a sequel.

The Last Guardian was probably slowed by the fact that ICO/SotC was delayed from spring (late march, I think was the original date retailers had) to "when it's ready". Which is now September. They probably halted TLG to get team members for working on ICO/SotC and gain 3D experience in the meantime.

Either that, or Sony is saving it for TGS.
