Humble Bundle Thread

I ended up getting the Game Maker bundle. My kid has some ideas he wants to turn into games - this seems the easiest path --- a hell of a lot easier than Unity, anyway :)

I wonder what the extra games will be for the total war humble bundle. I'm hoping it's Shogun 2 and Fall of Samurai.

No Total War Battles.  Though I'd be surprised if it didn't appear in a Humble bundle soon with both PC and Android available.

For $5 more, Anyone think its worth it to grab Total war: Rome 2 aswell?

Edit: Went with the $15 tier to get Rome 2 as well. Wish we would have gotten "fall of the samurai" in the bundle as well.

Well, looks like I'll be searching for Total War Rome 1 CDs at the flea market just to get the one game that's missing. :p
Rome Total War was one of the earliest big discount sales on Steam back in 2012. It was $1 in a weekend sale, and that was when discounts greater than 75% weren't really a thing. Many people grabbed it then. It was also in the Sega Humble Weekly. While it wouldn't have been horrible to include it in this bundle, it would have sucked if it took the spot of something that wasn't so commonly owned.

I didn't get that Humble Weekly, so I don't have it. And something tells me keys from that bundle are going to skyrocket in price now. :(

Edit: Did that Humble include Rome: Total War Collection? The page says it included Rome Total War and Barbarian Invasion, but not Alexander.

Yes. I remember purchasing that Sega humble and have the Total War: Rome collection in my library. It includes Rome and Barbarian invasion, but not Alexander.

I don't think Alexander has been bundled, nor was it included in that super cheap sale. I ended up grabbing it on Steam some time back for a measly 75% off.

I'm weak.

I paid for it with Monster Game card money, so whatever.

Eh, could have bought the base game for $1.
Who says I paid full price for this? I traded one of the Might and Magic games on sale for it. :p

I got it from a dude at Reddit who has like 30 copies of all Total War packs (each one), so I didn't really mind coughing up 3ish bucks for this.

Damn, I wish I had seen this earlier.. I'm pretty sure I have a steam code for Rome via GMG free copy (with Sega purchase) a year or so ago... I do know it doesn't include the Alexander DLC.
You can pick up the Alexander DLC for $1.25 or less at GMG when it goes on sale at 75% off. It's still cheaper than buying the whole thing.

Some really great games in that $8 tier, but not a chance at that price (being I literally own all of them except the Android game) and the low tier is all DRM-Free garbaj.
I don't know. Most of them look kind of interesting. I'm just not sure if I should go with $1 in hopes that some make it to Steam or go lower and live with DRM-free.

Looks like both Alea and Aurelia say Humble purchasers will get Steam keys once Greenlit. Hopefully some of the other games will hop on Greenlight and make this worth picking up on the last day or so.

This is a really good bundle btw. May bite on the top tier just out of principle.

Wheels of Aurelia looks interesting enough. The rest would be +1's for me, if Greenlight onto Steam.

But like yourself - I dunno if I want to drop a penny to get DRM-FREE or drop $1 so I have MysterD's Best of Both Worlds if it ever occurs for those games.

Yeah. That's the one that grabbed my attention. Hellmouth could be neat, though, too.
We'll just have to make sure we don't Gilby this bundle before next Thursday.

I'm holding off for a few days - until something gets Greenlighted or whatever. If something gets a Greenlight, $1 for this bundle for Steam-keys.

I know I'll at least drop one penny on this bundle.

So are all of these crap DRM-FREE games on Greenlight? Quantity over quality determines whether or not I'll be spending $1 on this Humble Poopees Build-A-Liberal-Arts-Degree-With-A-Minor-In-Computer-Programming-Bundle at all.

AFAIK only two are. Or at least Humble only links to Greenlight pages for two of them.

why? out of curiosity, do u even play it? If you are interested in Total War series, best to invest in the newer Shogun 2 and Rome 2/Attila. I currently play Shogun 2 and Rome 2 and they were a blast

Why not? :p

Jeez. I saw it was cheap, so why not buy it? I was curious.

Pretty bleh unlocks. I believe Bean's Quest has been bundled before for android and Nightmare Cooperative is an OK unlock, should have the PC version already.

Tomorrow's bundle will be awesome... just you wait... for a repeat of crappy AAA titles everyone has or the finest pudding eating simulators $8 can buy.
