Humble Bundle Thread

You guys are ruining any chances of a good bundle. It'll be Dungeon Defenders now, with special skins for DD2.

Today is the day Sir, You Will Be Bundled happens.

Barring that, Divinity: Original Sin Humble so the devs get more money for Original Sin 2. :p

Goddamn, the BTA is going up like crazy.

Who the hell would want to go for that $10 tier, though? A multiplayer only arena game? Bleh. This is the first Humble I won't be going for the top tier.

AND WHERE'S THE GODDAMN SKULLGIRLS OST.

In for 1, $70 tier... said no one ever...
I think people are probably going to buy that, sadly. Pop Funkos and other vinyl figures sell like hotcakes.

BTA started at $6 and keeps going up.

Yeah, all I want is Skullgirls, but not worth a BTA purchase. On the bright side, this means we'll be able to do a Sir, You are being hunted bro fist night!
The BTA is starting to go down, so the game may be cheap enough for you soon.

Heh, I paid $15 for Gang Beasts by itself. Of course, I was planning on hosting a multiplayer game night at my place at the time, so it didn't really bother me. The game is pretty awesome.

This bundle is pretty disappointing though. The only thing I want is Xenonauts.

Wow, first main HIB where I already have the entire BTA and the $1 is completely unattractive. Way to go, Humble.
This bundle has repeats that are smart plays by the devs in question. Taking a crack at a non-Humble bundle first for Goodbye Deponia, QUBE Director's Cut and Planetary Annihilation should work out better (for the publishers) than doing it the other way around. The customer base for those other bundles (Bundlestars and India Gala) is smaller than Humble, but it's also completely a subset of the customer base of Humble. Better chance of getting the double dip this way. I've always wondered why more publishers didn't make this play for relatively big name games.

That said, other aspects of this bundle pull things down for those publishers. Early QUBE owners got free upgrades to director's cut, Deponia Complete was available cheap(ish), and many have purchased Skullgirls outside of a bundle. (I skipped it, so this one is still somewhat tempting with Skullgirls and Xenonauts.)

At least I guessed correctly one game + bundle.

Unless Trine 3 is bonus, which I doubt, would've been great highlight.

Thought seems like only one bonus :

maybe smaller one since it says games thought...

Skullgirls was also free with IGN Prime trials.

I mean, to be fair, I would probably be in for Xenonauts if I hadn't gotten it free from GOG...but not at $6+.  This bundle needs some solid second-week unlocks, which seems like an unlikely thing to ask of Humble these days.

QUBE and the bundled-then-abandoned edition of Planetary Annihilation... urgh.

Might still have bought it (even at $6.18) if I didn't already own Skullgirls, but unless there's an awesome bonus or three: :speaktothehand:

The thing with those astronomically high tiers is they are so high they really don't even need that many people to buy it for it to shoot they average up.

They know what they're doing.

I have a couple of tabs at $6. I dollared in. I really hope we get some decent BTA things next week, because this is probably the worst numbered Humble. :\

Xenonauts looks like my only true want from this other than that floppy friends $10 game. Not sure it's worth BTA right now....Also wasn't Skullgirls getting some advanced edition or something doubling the amount of characters or something...I remember reading about it but haven't seen anything on it for a while.

Yeah, seriously. I'm more interested in the Indie Gala Monday bundle than a numbered Humble Bundle. I would have never bet that I'd ever say that.

I think the Skullgirls dev was looking into bringing the console-exclusive content over to Steam as DLC. It includes voice acting for cutscenes and challenge/trial/survival modes from what I can remember, and probably won't be free. Doesn't include any new characters

Oh, great. I paid a dollar and didn't get anything added to my account. It's still "processing." ARGH.

The last time Humble added anything even remotely worthwhile in the following week was well over a year ago.

They've long figured out their niche, and it isn't pandering to the informed bundle connoisseur.

I sent in a support ticket and got my confirmation email just as my support email went out. If your Paypal went through and you just never got your confirmation (mine hung up on the HB 'receipt' screen) you can try: https://www.humblebundle.com/resender
It took a while but my order went through.

And FYI, Daedalic had to be themselves, so Goodbye Deponia appears to be the standard edition, not the Premium one.
