Humble Bundle Thread

Adding the top tier to my steam

A couple of these I really wanted so it was a no-brainer for the top tier as I actually enjoy VNs if they are decent and I thought I might get half of my money back on cards.  I got 3 foils.  I still have a few cards to sell and I'm already ahead of what I paid.  Best.  Humble.  Ever.

Hiya guys. Narukami's back. It's too bad there's no eroge in this bundle, but as others have said, they're good enough to buy on their own merits. And since the BTA is so ridiculously high, gonna go top tier for probably the first time ever. Yay!

New Comics bundle.  Hard to get too excited for it.  Mostly indie stuff.  Some random single issues.  Not sure if it's really worth it.  Some titles I'm mildly interested in checking out, but would probably be better off buying those than this bundle.

Also Adult Swim bundle ending in a few days and BTA not going down.  Someone remind to buy it for Duck Game in a few days please.

The $1 tier looks decent on the comic bundle. Not sure I would bother buying anything else. Already bought $12 worth of Visual Novels I won't read this week.

If anybody actually got today's bundle, could you tell me whether Love is Love comes in cbz? The bundle page is seemingly deliberately cryptic (read: too lazy to actually spell out what comes in what formats) on this point.

This seems like a better deal that that weird Japanese stuff from yesterday. Maybe I just don't understand the appeal of those things.

+4 middling games for $10.  Bleh.  I'm going to go buy $10 worth of 6 packs and toss the rings into the ocean out of spite.

Bought the bundle and sold off the 7 games I already had for $6.50. Not bad, here's hoping the horrible sales so far will make them add better games tomorrow.

Eh, World of Diving is apparently abandoned. Really drives any chance of me getting it down. Submerged will get re-bundled at some point, so not much here for me other than a couple others I would prob not bother with anyway beyond a passing try or bronight.

Submerged is the only one that holds any interest.  Although watching Spoder bunny-hop around as a hermit crab in that weird-ass shooter may be momentarily amusing.

Wow... SEGA really going nuts with the charity games: Columns and Columns III. What's that? Thirty cents worth of games?

I guess they were really struggling to find ocean related titles. If only they had some games about dolphins they could have offered ...

They've run out of keys for World of Diving, if anyone still cared about getting the Oceans Day bundle
Honestly, I was still on the fence about it but I'll probably pass. I still find it weird that they do this sort of thing. Why not just cap the number of bundles people can buy instead of selling partial bundles? I know, it's for charidee, but still, it's rather peculiar.

I don't think it's weird. It's easier for them to get free keys from devs if the amount per game is different, and it's a charity bundle so they'll want to run the bundle for a certain period of time. if the bundle ended when one game runs out of keys.. it would have ended today and there wouldn't have been 5 days left. They could make it so that every game has the same amount of keys, but then you would end up with less games in the bundle and it'd be worse overall

This is what I was thinking. I understand your point, but it's not like they drop the price when fewer games are available as a result of the differential number of keys provided. Eh, maybe it's just me.

OR it increases the value for people who bought day 1 and gives people reason to buy early instead of wait........
It also alienates people who were on the fence and dithering. Sure, some of those people would have turned into gilbies, anyway, but I imagine it costs them a notable number of sales--which is probably one of the reasons they don't do it with bundles they expect to profit on.
