The $1 counts towards it. You can increase your amount later to match BTA.

Your $1 counts toward it. If you paid when it was $4.00 you'll need to add $3.01 to BTA, regardless of what the price is next week when bonuses are added.

have to pay full amount, the BTA amount is locked at the time of your purchase and then you can increase the amount later on the your bundle page with keys.

Definitely. Putting aside my mild displeasure (I own the current BTA games), I think this bundle is better than quite a few of the numbered ones.

Numbered bundles have come to be known for their multi-platform support, lack of DRM and their "indie" branding.

Not that I should complain. I only have Serious Sam 3 BFE out of all of these.
