Humble Bundle Thread

Mixed feeling about the E3 bundles in general.  $1 tier; good if you have amazon and can utilize coins, Gemini game and "boosters" for the "free" games if you like any  of them.  BTA tier is great if you do not already have XCOM (this is complete, so also has Enemy Within).  $15 tier is only worth it if you bought the monthly with Total Warhammer (and did not sell it) as it has a good DLC for the game, Hacky, Verdun (multiplayer) and PacMan CE 2.  *For Free, you can get coupons at the bottom of the page to buy Tyranny, Silence or the new Styx game from humble.

Awesome. I love bundles made primarily of DLC for games that I don't own.
The DLC is primarily F2P crap, so technically you could own them if you wanted to.

This bundle is largely shit. BTA is not bad if you dont own Xcom Complete, but thats about the only lure and even that can be found cheaper by itself.

I haven't found Enemy Within cheaper than $5, so it doesn't seem bad to me. However, like the rest of these E3 bundles, it is top-loaded with F2P DLC garbage.

For what it's worth, Gemini was a pretty decent game.  It has bizarrely dated graphics for its release date and lacks story-telling and voice-acting polish but the telekinesis mechanics and time shifting are pretty fun.  I'm not recommending buying the bundle for it (if only because the rest of the $1 tier is DLC stuff and screw rewarding that shit) but it's worth trying if it winds up in your library somehow.

Before you let that Adult Swim bundle go away, $1 is EASILY a steal for just Westerado and Volgarr alone. Volgarr is an acquired taste. I didn't like it but I could respect what it tried. But I loved Westerado.

Amazon App Coins is a great deal for anyone who owns a kindle fire or intends to load the Amazon store on an android device. $1 for $5 is pretty nice.

Gotham City Imposters is really good for a F2P shooter.

Gems of War is basically Puzzle Quest but better from the original creator. It has the tedious F2P grind though.

A warning: If you don't live in the US, UK or Germany, you will NOT get the Amazon coins. You won't even get a warning.

I'm just going to $1 tier it when I'm in the US tomorrow. Or if someone wants to sell me their Amazon code for less than $1 that works too. I was going to give away the other keys anyway.

The last I was told no one was interested in plushiebroing it. Did Spoder? If so he would have an extra copy for me. I still might duck it, and I don't mean duckiebro it.
I kind of wish I bought the $12 tier for myself. Duck Game alone goes for $4 on steamtrades so I could have resold that. Ended up buying the stuff I needed from splits.

If you don't get Duck Game, you'll be missing out. I plan on scheduling it semi-frequently.

There's only one person getting 90% off deals from Russia. . . .
Actually, if you check IndieGala, WAY more than one person can get in on the sweet new 1C Mega Bundle Deals.

The whole world can, more or less.

This might be what ComeyCat is so upset about.

Watching GameSpot.

Agents of Mayhem looks like a lot of fun + a blast. Basically, Volition has a new Saints Row style Single-Player Only game here, where you can switch b/t a bunch of Agents (looks like there's plans for 12 of them).

The agent-switching at any time while on-the-fly, in which they all have their own special skills, looks like tons of fun + you can come up w/ some crazy combos here.

Plus...it looks really silly, funny + whacky, as we'd expect from a Volition / SR style game.

New Boom Comic is good value (other than for southoftheborderbros apparently).  A ton of full volumes and interesting titles.  Was hoping Kennel Block Blues would be in it, since I just read it and it was really good, but I'll just buy a copy of that one later.  Will probably full $15 this bundle since it's just another donation to the pups.

Looks like nothing new this week unless its a late arrival. I'm not betting on that with the Steam sale as I believe they tend to skip the week it launches. Its been a while since we've been Humble-less so whatever.
