"Spawning grenades" is Martyrdom, a perk you unlock where it drops a live nade when you die.

I dunno. Whatever comes with the regular Assault class. Seems like there's a rocket launcher perk on that, but I wouldn't know how to activate it. I like being a sniper, but I don't know where to go, and Liq says no maps are built for that. Which sucks, but eh.

I'll try to read the manual and do some more of the training/tutorial stuff, and also look up some various hints online.

Mostly just need to get situated. The extent of what I know I need to do is kill the other guys before they kill me, but that's level 100 primer.

personally i think the m16 is the best weapon in the game. if you get a scope, stopping power, and bandolier, you can kill people very quickly.

I'd suggest the M4. It's a great weapon. Unlock the red dot scope and you'll be golden.

I've only had the game for like two weeks. It's easy to get accustomed (spelling?) to.

Strell, make sure to buy GHII or III on the 360 if there's ever a deal. The Rock Band guitar is trash.

Giants suck, by the way.
 
Strell: there is one map that's good for sniping, and that's Bloc.

And I suppose you could make snipers work on other maps if you can find the right place to hunker down, but I wouldn't recommend starting out with one right off.

And if you're playing with the OTT crew you'll never get to play Bloc since we always vote to skip it since it sucks. :D

Casey- I don't see how the guitar could be any worse. I don't like one thing about it.
 
I'm in a match right now and about half the guy seem the type that hide in a dark corner until somebody walks past. Boring to me.

That's what I have now, GHI Guitar on PS2, GHIII guitar on Wii, Rock Band guitar on 360. And I've got a GHII bundle coming in for the 360 on Tuesday to replace the shitty RB guitar, and I'll sell my GHII PS2 game.

IF you're picking up Rock Band then you'll have 3 guitars on 3 systems anyway, so you might as well get GHII or III so you have a good guitar.

The UAV is that radar thing with red dots? I can't quite figure out how it works because it seems like they disappear from it.

Last map was too large as well. Bleh.

And it had some sort of connection problem on the 2nd match. F this shit.

That's true, but I can't imagine an aspect of the RB guitar that could be made worse. All of it pretty much sucks, IMO. Although knowing Mad Catz they'll find a way to fuck it up more.

Liquid mine came broken right out of the box. Once it gets fixed I may like it more. The strum bar is really the only thing I don't care for about it (that strum bar means a lot though and it definately is not as good as the xplorer or the les paul).

I wish they would sell the Les Paul separately. I wouldn't mind picking it up if they did.

When you get three kills you can activate UAV recon for 30 seconds, which shows their whole team on that map in red dots to your whole team for said time, except for the members of their team using the UAV jammer perk which keeps them shielding.

When the yellow line passes through the map they show up, then will fade away and show up when it passes by again.

Members of the other team also show up when they fire, unless they're using a silencer.

It basically gives you ideas of where to look.

I'm using the G3 now, and it's not bad. But, for a single shot assualt rifle, it should be more powerful.

I hated it, but I'd probably like it more if I got the red dot. It blows if you get caught up with some guy in close quarters though.

also, don't use a UAV if theres already one up. wait until it expires. yesterday 5 guys on overgrown used it at the same time, and when it ran out, and i had an airstrike no one else had one.

if you're team is already doing well, wait for someone to get an airstrike and then use it to help them.

there is one exeption:
if you know for a fact you are about to get 2 kills after getting a UAV...USE THE UAV or else it will be replaced by an airstrike. if you use it, and then get an airstrike, you get to use both.

Just get the GH3 bundle from yourfree360games.com and buy GH2 for like $30 used at GS. My scores went up significantly when I started using the Les Paul in Rock Band. Plus, it's wireless.

I always strum down when playing GHII or 3, I don't know why. Motor skills must of never have happened for me :(

Want RB, but it's hard to justify $160, for me at least.

Weird how my scores are higher with the RB guitar in RB over the Les Paul.

The Les Paul has the advantage of being able to be strummed quicker, but how many times do you need that in RB? You don't have note charts like Knights of Cydonia.
