Hey guys I'm picking up the list where Feldbum left off........I took off the guy from the top of the old list and added mine to the top (He already got his 5). I also added the other guys to the list from the old thread that didn't get added. I think that's fair as I am willing to keep editing this post for you guys. I'm adding everyone back from the old list that might not have gotten their refferals due to the thread being locked. C'mon guys let's keep this thing going. Everybody can get free ipods it's not that hard. I already scored one on Freeslide. Here are the instruction's from Feldbum on how this process works (with edits from me):

Congratulations to everyone who got something from Freeslide. Thanks for the friendly emails and PMs.

If you didn't get all your offers done before FS changed their rules, I found a better method of getting the mini or a 15G iPod or a $250 iTunes GC. A lot of other forums have been succesful in these conga lines, and unlike Freeslide, Freeipods.com actually encourages it!

They even recommend using forums to get referrals!

Here's how the Conga works. I'll post my referral link at the top of the list. When anyone signs up under me, post your referral link, and I'll add it under mine in the list. When I get 5, I'll remove mine from the top of the list, and everyone else's will move up. Since you only need to complete one offer and points credit quickly, the line should move pretty fast, rarely with more than 6 links in it. I'll try to update once a day at 8-9 P.M. (except weekends, when I'll update when I can).

When you post your referral link, make sure that you include
1) The offer that you completed
2) The link you signed up underneath
3) Your own personal link (so I can add it to the list)
4) Your email address (so we can verify you actually signed up under the person you claim.

IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THESE 4 RULES YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST!!

As for offers, I would suggest Ancestry.com if you haven't already used that for something else (but I bet most of us have), with must be cancelled in 14 days but only costs $1.
The wrinkle cream sample costs $6.95 but must be RETURNED within 14 days (the sample) or you will be charged.
Video Professor is also $6.95 and everything but the one video you get to keep must be returned or you get charged.
I like to use "Return to Sender" for these type of things.

*NEW RULE: If you have already signed an account for freeipods.com you cannot be a part of this conga. It just makes the list way too long and we can't add your name to it. Sorry :whistle2:(

WARNING! I just heard that the site has problems with Hotmail accounts. If you used a Hotmail account, I would switch it to another free email account from the Update Account Info screen.

ALSO NOTE: When you sign up.......do not use the refferal ID from the bottom of this thread, but instead use this actual list below, I will be updating it frequently. Use the 1st ID below. ***The only way this will work is if you actually sign up and complete the offer. Good Luck!

If anyone wants to posts some NEW posts on my new Website/Forum, I'll put your referral link on my Homepage for a week.

To qualify, you must post 5 new posts (Not responding to a post already on the forum), and 3 of those need to be some sort of hot deal.

Just as a quick survey, who here has met the following requirements:

1) You have exactly 4 completed referrals
2) Multiple others uncompleted ones
3) Someone who claims to have completed an offer but didn't get credit

Happens a lot, no big thing, it usually clears up after an hour or so.

Actually, I'm quite fine with you doing him a return favor. And I'm like this because I'm at the top, have close to 40 total referrals, and now, have only 4 completed ones. That's why. Now, if I had 4 referrals and 4 completed, then I'd be in an entirely different mood. :D
 
Might just be a rewording of "in progress 3", but my status changed to "Sent to Vendor, Waiting on Product" this afternoon.

Well, I made that n00b mistake too. And of course I also received no mercy (and no spot in the line). :(

I already have an iPod, but I was hoping to get another one for my wife...oh well...
 
I canceld my AOL sub, but I never got any credit. I am going to try the aol broadband one now. It took me 20 minutes to cancel!

Cuz the AOL employees? Man, they're asses. My dad was on the phone for an hour and he didnt cancel. You MUST be stern with the, and said "I WANT TO CANCEL IT!"

The second time around, I said "Last time, my dad called and was harassed for an hour to stay with AOL. Just cancel my account" The AOL lady almost started crying.
 
Does anybody know approximately how long the Columbia House dvd offer takes to show up as a complete? I would like to know for some friends who may be interested in signing up under it. Also is there some sort of problem for users signing up under hotmail accounts? I read somewhere that there was so if there is what can be done about it?

I hoped not! I signed up through a hotmail account.
 
Well I guess if it worked ok for you there isn't a problem, since I have a friend who used hotmail too. I don't even remember where I read that, probably not even on this site, I was just wondering if there was any truth to it.
 
So... you don't think they'll put my account on hold because all my friends used my computer to sign up do you? I mean... They all used their addresses and credit cards but... it was all on my PC. Oh and also, while I did get credit for my offer I didn't keep it very long they won't go back and say omg 111! you didn't stay long enough cheetarr!! and not give me my ipod right? I mean... Thats what I'd do... Get the people to sign up for the crap and then put their accounts on hold... heh.

Does anyone know if you do the aol with music net and canel if you can fo teh broadband one? Im asking cause I did the aol wiht music net, and it never gave me credit.

I did AOL for broadband on August 14th. It took me 5 days I guess.

And please people, I need referalls, and I want my iPod!!
