Hey guys I'm picking up the list where Feldbum left off........I took off the guy from the top of the old list and added mine to the top (He already got his 5). I also added the other guys to the list from the old thread that didn't get added. I think that's fair as I am willing to keep editing this post for you guys. I'm adding everyone back from the old list that might not have gotten their refferals due to the thread being locked. C'mon guys let's keep this thing going. Everybody can get free ipods it's not that hard. I already scored one on Freeslide. Here are the instruction's from Feldbum on how this process works (with edits from me):

Congratulations to everyone who got something from Freeslide. Thanks for the friendly emails and PMs.

If you didn't get all your offers done before FS changed their rules, I found a better method of getting the mini or a 15G iPod or a $250 iTunes GC. A lot of other forums have been succesful in these conga lines, and unlike Freeslide, Freeipods.com actually encourages it!

They even recommend using forums to get referrals!

Here's how the Conga works. I'll post my referral link at the top of the list. When anyone signs up under me, post your referral link, and I'll add it under mine in the list. When I get 5, I'll remove mine from the top of the list, and everyone else's will move up. Since you only need to complete one offer and points credit quickly, the line should move pretty fast, rarely with more than 6 links in it. I'll try to update once a day at 8-9 P.M. (except weekends, when I'll update when I can).

When you post your referral link, make sure that you include
1) The offer that you completed
2) The link you signed up underneath
3) Your own personal link (so I can add it to the list)
4) Your email address (so we can verify you actually signed up under the person you claim.

IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THESE 4 RULES YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST!!

As for offers, I would suggest Ancestry.com if you haven't already used that for something else (but I bet most of us have), with must be cancelled in 14 days but only costs $1.
The wrinkle cream sample costs $6.95 but must be RETURNED within 14 days (the sample) or you will be charged.
Video Professor is also $6.95 and everything but the one video you get to keep must be returned or you get charged.
I like to use "Return to Sender" for these type of things.

*NEW RULE: If you have already signed an account for freeipods.com you cannot be a part of this conga. It just makes the list way too long and we can't add your name to it. Sorry :whistle2:(

WARNING! I just heard that the site has problems with Hotmail accounts. If you used a Hotmail account, I would switch it to another free email account from the Update Account Info screen.

ALSO NOTE: When you sign up.......do not use the refferal ID from the bottom of this thread, but instead use this actual list below, I will be updating it frequently. Use the 1st ID below. ***The only way this will work is if you actually sign up and complete the offer. Good Luck!

Yes, I have, but I ran my own conga, so that helped. So people need to quit declaring BS.
 
Who's running the list now? And please follow the rules of the line, that's the only way it will work. I have the same exact numbers as I did before, despite the fact I'm at the top. So DO NOT CLICK A LINK OTHER THAN THE TOP ONE. Thank you.
 
Actually, I have 33 total, and only 2 of those 33 completed, which is really pissing me off.


Also, I noticed this message on the Help/FAQ page:

Not to be a nag, but I personally believe only the top link should be accessible, and hide the others until the top has 5. I'd especially recommend this if I continue to get more who don't complete, yet others below me get more completed referrals. But that's just me.

That's not a bad idea! It might make the line move faster too.
With that many pending, you may want to contact them once they put the "contact us" link back up. It shouldn't take that long, unless you're a deadbeat magnet.

You might want to suggest removing the pending amount from the 1st post, then people would definitely click on yours. I didnt know that its been that way for weeks for you. Most people will assume it just takes a while to process which it does for some offers!!!! and click someone else's.

BTW, you really want that ipod dont you.
 
Good call on removing "pending", might help people understand the concept of First In First Out.

And no, to the morons that keep adding their links, you're not getting added. Only those that follow the fairly easy instructions will be put in the line.

Oh hell yes. I've waited too long with so many non-complete-ers on my list and still not have an iPod. Or even several Ipods by now by now. I've never seen someone else with the amount of deadbeat referrals as myself. :cry:

The only way you pay for something is if you want to like Rhapsody or you forget and get charged an AOL bill. Otherwise, its all completely free.
 
Half the people posting their link are illiterate.... If you dont sign up under the conga, then they ain't going to add your link period.

And Al, some people got some referrals complete outside of cag, like from friends and family, which is how i got 2 completed.

BTW, I'm still constantly getting people who are not signing up. It seems like there's a new person everyday, although I can't tell because there are so many...at least over 30, and not one has completed an offer. WTF is going on? If this keeps up, the line will never progress. Friggen a...what's the deal?!

First I did aol with music net. I downloaded aol, then it said go to aol keyword musicnet and download that. i did both.

Okay, so if I try out AOL, then, can I use AOL for broadband, and itd be the same thing?

Yes. There are two different AOL's to choose from. AOL with musicnet OR AOL for broadband.

Just make sure you print out the screen that givevs you the number to call and cancel with. Not your username and password, and you credit card number, make a note and put it on the fridge so yo know when to cancel! I would say atlest 5 days before the free trial ends.

Ah okay! I'll keep that in mind!

Also, remember, with AOL its really hard to cancel, cuz they dont want you to cancel, once I was on the phone for an hour shouting at them before they cancelled me.
