Ipod Conga Line (1 offer/5 refferals) cont'd

Hey guys I'm picking up the list where Feldbum left off........I took off the guy from the top of the old list and added mine to the top (He already got his 5). I also added the other guys to the list from the old thread that didn't get added. I think that's fair as I am willing to keep editing this post for you guys. I'm adding everyone back from the old list that might not have gotten their refferals due to the thread being locked. C'mon guys let's keep this thing going. Everybody can get free ipods it's not that hard. I already scored one on Freeslide. Here are the instruction's from Feldbum on how this process works (with edits from me):

Congratulations to everyone who got something from Freeslide. Thanks for the friendly emails and PMs.

If you didn't get all your offers done before FS changed their rules, I found a better method of getting the mini or a 15G iPod or a $250 iTunes GC. A lot of other forums have been succesful in these conga lines, and unlike Freeslide, Freeipods.com actually encourages it!

They even recommend using forums to get referrals!

Here's how the Conga works. I'll post my referral link at the top of the list. When anyone signs up under me, post your referral link, and I'll add it under mine in the list. When I get 5, I'll remove mine from the top of the list, and everyone else's will move up. Since you only need to complete one offer and points credit quickly, the line should move pretty fast, rarely with more than 6 links in it. I'll try to update once a day at 8-9 P.M. (except weekends, when I'll update when I can).

When you post your referral link, make sure that you include
1) The offer that you completed
2) The link you signed up underneath
3) Your own personal link (so I can add it to the list)
4) Your email address (so we can verify you actually signed up under the person you claim.

IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THESE 4 RULES YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST!!

As for offers, I would suggest Ancestry.com if you haven't already used that for something else (but I bet most of us have), with must be cancelled in 14 days but only costs $1.
The wrinkle cream sample costs $6.95 but must be RETURNED within 14 days (the sample) or you will be charged.
Video Professor is also $6.95 and everything but the one video you get to keep must be returned or you get charged.
I like to use "Return to Sender" for these type of things.

*NEW RULE: If you have already signed an account for freeipods.com you cannot be a part of this conga. It just makes the list way too long and we can't add your name to it. Sorry :whistle2:(

WARNING! I just heard that the site has problems with Hotmail accounts. If you used a Hotmail account, I would switch it to another free email account from the Update Account Info screen.

ALSO NOTE: When you sign up.......do not use the refferal ID from the bottom of this thread, but instead use this actual list below, I will be updating it frequently. Use the 1st ID below. ***The only way this will work is if you actually sign up and complete the offer. Good Luck!

DJW, i agree with whoever said you should block the referrals on the list except for the first, but I say block all but the first five on the group.
 
Um....I'm still getting referrals that aren't completing deals. And also, I'm down to only 3 completed referrals now because they changed it to where friends have to join via my referral link, and one of them didn't...so...

This cong line doesn't seem to be working much, because it's been weeks since I've been first, yet I'm still getting referrals who aren't completing deals...I'll post how many non completers and completers I have in a sec...
 
I have 43 who did not complete an offer, 3 who did, and 1 friend completed an offer but it didn't count cause he didn't use my referral link.
 
I was one of the first in the original. I have over 20 people in my list, and only 2 people from this forum have completed any. I got 2 from elsewhere and am still waiting on an AOL credit to count. 16 days and counting on it.

OK, this thing's been going on here for over a month - has anyone actually gotten one of these things yet? Honestly??? I'm not calling you all suckers (yet), but i really am just curious.
 
Yes people have actually got these. Check out gearlive.com for some proof, there's other links too that someone has posted before. My friend actually has an ipod shipping right now. I'm not in on the ipod deal, but I'm going after the free flat screen offer by the same company.
 
Well, eBay does allow a person to have more then one account, and colombia house allows 2 or 3 active accounts under the same name.

I'm too lazy to mess around with a screenshot (kudos to you for it), but I have my referrals and my order status is "Order sent to vendor, waiting on product".

This after it was at "In Progress 3" for quite a while.

every time this thread comes up, the word Conga makes me think its about Donkey Konga. I never notice Ipod and I go to look at it but I will be deceived no more!

I did, but they changed the rules and now friends have to follow your referral link just like anyone else. Notice below I have a lot of empty grey circles at the bottom. Well, one of those actually completed a deal, didn't use my referral link, and it counted...at least till now. Well, for a little bit, I was back down to only 3. Now, someone else completed one, so I back up to 4. :lol: I should actually have 5 right now, but they screwed me over. Ah well, I've already had to deal with 40+ BSing non-completers. :evil:

You go through the first person on the conga list in the first page. And yes, everything requires a credit card.

My account has been confirmed today, and now my order is processing. Oh, and I will DEFINITLY post pics. :lol: I will also piss my pants from disbelief.

I was also on the original list back when this first started and I got my 5 but apparently some of the completions were not unique so it rejected 3 of them. So if anyone wants to help a guy and click on mine, I would appreciate it. Also, I will give out a free g-mail invite for a completed offer. Thanks.
