Hey guys I'm picking up the list where Feldbum left off........I took off the guy from the top of the old list and added mine to the top (He already got his 5). I also added the other guys to the list from the old thread that didn't get added. I think that's fair as I am willing to keep editing this post for you guys. I'm adding everyone back from the old list that might not have gotten their refferals due to the thread being locked. C'mon guys let's keep this thing going. Everybody can get free ipods it's not that hard. I already scored one on Freeslide. Here are the instruction's from Feldbum on how this process works (with edits from me):

Congratulations to everyone who got something from Freeslide. Thanks for the friendly emails and PMs.

If you didn't get all your offers done before FS changed their rules, I found a better method of getting the mini or a 15G iPod or a $250 iTunes GC. A lot of other forums have been succesful in these conga lines, and unlike Freeslide, Freeipods.com actually encourages it!

They even recommend using forums to get referrals!

Here's how the Conga works. I'll post my referral link at the top of the list. When anyone signs up under me, post your referral link, and I'll add it under mine in the list. When I get 5, I'll remove mine from the top of the list, and everyone else's will move up. Since you only need to complete one offer and points credit quickly, the line should move pretty fast, rarely with more than 6 links in it. I'll try to update once a day at 8-9 P.M. (except weekends, when I'll update when I can).

When you post your referral link, make sure that you include
1) The offer that you completed
2) The link you signed up underneath
3) Your own personal link (so I can add it to the list)
4) Your email address (so we can verify you actually signed up under the person you claim.

IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THESE 4 RULES YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST!!

As for offers, I would suggest Ancestry.com if you haven't already used that for something else (but I bet most of us have), with must be cancelled in 14 days but only costs $1.
The wrinkle cream sample costs $6.95 but must be RETURNED within 14 days (the sample) or you will be charged.
Video Professor is also $6.95 and everything but the one video you get to keep must be returned or you get charged.
I like to use "Return to Sender" for these type of things.

*NEW RULE: If you have already signed an account for freeipods.com you cannot be a part of this conga. It just makes the list way too long and we can't add your name to it. Sorry :whistle2:(

WARNING! I just heard that the site has problems with Hotmail accounts. If you used a Hotmail account, I would switch it to another free email account from the Update Account Info screen.

ALSO NOTE: When you sign up.......do not use the refferal ID from the bottom of this thread, but instead use this actual list below, I will be updating it frequently. Use the 1st ID below. ***The only way this will work is if you actually sign up and complete the offer. Good Luck!

Ok I heard about this line after I signed up for the freeiPod so is there a way I can get on if I just do someones flatscreen referal? Then people fill up my iPod referal?
 
Don't know if this belongs here (mods, move if needed), and I apologize for the spam..


But it's been at least a month and I'm stuck. I have 4 people who have signed up and completed an offer at freeipods.com, and over 40 others who signed up under my referral and did nothing. I just need 1 more referral, then I'd be one happy cheap ass gamer. I'd REALLY appreciate if someone signed up/completed an offer. Thanks for reading this..

Everyone considers referrals as spam, wtf should I have done? I'm just asking a favor from the CAG community, hoping anyone would give me a hand... god damn, is it that much to ask?
 
We get these kind of posts for freeipods over and over and over again. It will be hard to generate sympathy for your cause.

Why don't you just sign up under a family members name and pay whatever out of your pocket just to get that last space filled up?
 
Does this really count as desperate? I figure that if you are desperate then you are in serious trouble. Not getting a "free" ipod is not serious trouble. Go cry somewhere else.

I am sorry but I am not willing to sign up for that. I would almost rather pay or the iPod with a academic discount then do something like this..sorry man..

You are an absolute jackass and part of the problem of why the conga line isn't moving by randomly posting your link instead of using the line as it was intended.
I was going to pass them out at work, but your sense of "community" has inspired me this evening. I'm posting 5 Gmail invitations in the appropriate thread tonight, no strings attached.

Just went to "shipped" status on the freeipods page! Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week (and I'll be sure to post some pics).
 
They must have gotten a large shipment in, because my order that was on "Sent to Vendor..." forever went to shipped today for me too.

missingdata: I thought you had problems before with getting credit for your offer. Did you get that straigtened out, or did you have to do another offer?
 
So whats the catch with this site?
I'm really skeptical. I mean I see people have received Ipods, but you know theres like government tracking bugs in them or something. It's too good to be true.
 
I think the catch is that the company is still making more than its spending for the ipods, and most people also don't complete all of their referrals, which makes the company even more money.
 
Exactly. There are the people (Like Me) who cant manage to get more than 2 refferals, so the company gets paid the fee from the company you signed up under, and they don't have to ship anything. I wonder if this would be classified as a pyrimid scam, or just a clever idea...

Despite the fact that now everyone and their mother has signed up for FreeIpods, I'm still begging for refferals. I've even offered 2 gmail invites per person as an incentive, but it seems that the demand for that has waned as well...

I'll put this out here in hopes that someone will take pity (even though I deserve none. If i was smart, i would have spammed this everywhere like everyone else and I'd have my ipod by now...)
