Well, the occasional network problems notwithstanding, at least I'm not paying them $60 a year to be inconvenienced the way I am with the
ing 360. I love that me and my kids can log in to any PS3 (home, grandparents house, etc) and play any of our games at any time. PSN is 100x better than Xbox Live just based on that fact alone. It could be down for a week out of every month and I'd still prefer it
. The only advantage the 360 has is allowing multiple gamertags to get achievements at the same time while playing coop (in contrast to, say, Portal 2 on the PS3 were my son was playing coop with me but couldn't be logged in to his account while doing so).
Now if you are some single 20-something gamer with just one console then I guess none of that matters to you. But I really hate having to have my profile on a memory stick to switch between our 2 360s and even worse, having the game save moving procedure actually delete the saves from the source system. WTF!? I want backups MS...
Sorry for the off topic ranting - I guess I should report myself
. But I was just dealing with DRM headache issues on the 360 yesterday and just got finished reading about how Sega XBL games don't even play nice with the restrictive DRM already in place so I thought I'd vent...
Of course they are both better than the Wii DRM "solution"
.
