The Killer's Spree is one of my favorite achievements I unlocked in any 360 game. Getting it for the first time just feels so great.

Sounds like a plan. As for the achievements, I was surprised I unlocked anything the way I was stinking it up (I actually ranked up, too)...but it was good to see the HCC representing last nite! :)
 
Im up for playing but we got to see if all the regulars are gonna set it up again or if we just have to choose a random person to set up

I assume Red Pack is up for tonight. Any chance we can try out some of these new gameplay modes? I haven't seen any of them being played online.

Yes, Red Pack will be main focus tonight so whoever hasn't done so yet, DL the Red Pack. We will run the new modes and other modes we haven't yet while also running regular sharpshooter cause everyone had a blast with it at the end of last week.
 
Before I forget to say it, if anyone gets online later and can't get in the room due to it being full, don't be afraid to start another room then cause we were packed last week. With that said, everyone who hasnt added people to thier friends list on LIVE, do so so you can see whos in the room and whos not or started another one.
 
I am going to try and get online tonight, maybe around 8pm est. I havn't played this game in about 5 months so anyone who has ever wanted to shoot me in face will have their chance tonight.

I'm in, we finally got internet access at our new apartment, after moving cross-country. Is it mostly sharpshooter or can we play some Attack and Defend too?

Tonight we're gonna roll with (in my room anyways) Sharpshooter, Team Sharpshooter, Assassination, and some Attack and Defend. The team sharpshooter and reg. sharpshooter will be on the Red Pack maps while the rest will be on the older maps that people are more familiar with. After playing those modes, we can vote out modes that people dont like or maps that people dont like and go more for what everyone does enjoy.

I should be there tonight for at least part of the time tonight. My friends list is full off of this, the Gears nights and other CAGs, so I'll try and weed out a few so I have everyone covered and can hop into whatever room is up.

Oh, and I'm all for team-based stuff because I always get railed in free-for-all Sharpshooter matches :)
 
I won't be able to make it this week (EST) but maybe in the future I'll join in on some earlier games.

does anyone know what to do when you load up vegas and it gives you that storage device warning? it tells me i don't have enough space and when i select my harddrive it doesn't do anything. i have 4GB on my harddrive left, anyone have a clue?
 
Had fun, as always, last night and loved the Attack and Defend on Border Town. Nothing like screwing up and killing the hostages for good laughs. Hopefully we can get a big group at one time next week.

Good games today guys. I think the VIP thing is flawed being only one round, it could be a lot of fun if it kept switching your teams back and forth for you and not having to restart.

Thanks to Ship and Wombat who came out last night too. You guys were better than I was expecting!
 
I went and saw Transformers(again) and forgot to get the red pack. Then when I got into the room, you guys played black pack stuff. Oh well. I now have both and am ready for fun. If anyone wants to play today, if I am on I would love to play. Sorry about that. I actually picked this game up again because of Vegas Nights.
 
I'm Central and couldn't make it on until 11:40 my time, but I played with my usual crew until 2ish, so maybe we can kind of hopscotch next time so there always CAGs playing. There will always be someone on from 9EST until Midnight PST?
 
I didn't dig the VIP & Attack and Defend games too much...I like the traditional, kill the other team or everyone for themeselves...but it was fun nontheless, sorry I couldn't be there longer. See you guys hopefully next week!

Sorry I couldn't join you last night too rabidmonkeys...I got an invite to Aegis Wing before you sent me the R6V and I needed all the achievements for AW so....maybe next time.
 
Keep chiming in on what you guys liked and didnt like, both gametype and map wise. We can knock out things like Assassination mode and others that aren't fan favorites.

That was easily the best and funniest moment of last night, and what made it better for me was I was in the middle of respawning so I saw it as it happened. It looked so natural, like he annoyed you and you blasted his ass. We have to at least run that map of A&D mode next week.
 
Damn, sorry I missed out last nite...I have a class starting yesterday that's going to run every Thursday for a couple of months, so I'll be offline for a bit. I'm down for other nites if anyone's interested...Thanks!

That map sucked hard.
 
I didnt like Presidio for team games cause the balance seemed way off (team that spawns up top can camp with or without grenades and just wait for the bottom spawn team to come up). Was awesome map for reg. sharpshooter though.
 
I love Presidio as well, but you absolutely have to shut off nades.

I don't mind an occassional round of sharpshooter, but I prefer Team Sharpshooter.

Maps that I enjoy are:
- Campus
- Casino Vault
- Presidio
- Either Killhouse, but preferably the new one
- Red Lotus
- or rarely Calypso

I did enjoy the A&D last night, but I think the hostage maps are a nightmare since one dead hostage = game over, and it happened every time we played. I did really enjoy the bomb map of "roof" I think it was last night though. And Dante's was alright too.
 
I know I'm the exception, but I vastly prefer objective-based team-games over anything else. I don't mind Team Sharpshooter, but regular Sharpshooter is way too solitary and tense for my taste. I had the most fun with A&D in the casino.
 
yeah, nades off in Presidio might be a good idea. I actually like that map for the run & gun since it's small and mostly close quarters.

though like LVU Campus and Red Lotus, if one team is quick enough to stack up around enemy spawn there's no way to beat them.
