Great match. This is why sd went last
Or they are going to gimmick the ring at the end.

Shawn Michaels

SCM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JERICHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where did HBK come from? or what exactly happened?
There was a trapdoor in the chamber that he climbed up out of and superkicked UT. Jericho covered him for the win. At the end, Shawn was just standing there staring down at the Undertaker.

i loved elmination chamber. it was so exciting. i think hbk/undertaker and then edge/batista and jericho/punk (???) will be worth ordering wrestlemania for, no? if they do jericho versus edge - they should add cm punk to the match. he will grab the mic in the match tell them both they suck! hahaha
Sooo... Helms gets put on the shitlist and Jericho gets the world strap?
Helms isn't entertaining at all. At least not as The Hurricane.

I like the shape of the potential lineup...

Cena/batista
edge/jericho
punk/rey rey
taker/shawn
vince/bret

and probably miz/mvp

....who could complain about this wm?!?!?

Sugar Shane Helms was the shit in WCW.. Also even as the heel Gregory Helms he was bad ass in WWE. They should just let Helms go so he can goto TNA where they put over smaller guys.
Yea, it's probably gonna be edge/jericho
looks that way, sadly i doubt it'll close WMXXVI cause it looks like cena v. batista 2: electric bogaloo with bret and vince is gonna take that honor away from the rumble winner

WM just isn't like it used to be.. The last actual WM match that I can remember being something special in recent years was Rock/Hogan. Since then the only WM match I can remember is Lashley and Umaga with Vince and Trump for some reason.. And I always order the WM PPV.

i greatly looked forward to money in the bank. fun concept and always made for a good match, now this bullshit about building a PPV around it is just fucking stupid

I'm with the camp thinking the Bret leg injury is a work by Bret & Cena to get Vince to accept the match thinking he's hurt and defenseless only to have Bret swerve Vince by showing up 100%.

I got a feeling this interview is going to end in either a fight or Bischoff completely walking out. Tune in a few minutes folks and have the popcorn ready.
Love that pic in your sig neo. They should have these 3 on commentary all the time. Just great stuff.
Thanks. Chase is the one who actually made the gif for me.

Damn, I slept through the whole PPV. It sounds like the biggest surprises were the women's match being changed and Taker catching fire during his entrance. At least Jay will think it was a good show.

The SD chamber match was awesome - I loved Truth's dive off the top onto Morrison on the chamber floor, Punk's pre AND mid-match speeches, and everything they did with Rey and Punk, Rey and Morrison, and the awesome ending with Jericho constantly avoiding the gogoplata, hitting the walls, but not winning until HBK came out from under the ring in a terrible shirt and superkicked HBK to give Jericho, one of his most hated rivals, the world title because he wants Taker so badly that he'll aid him in his quest for gold just to get that rematch. Big ups to 'Taker for not only working the match with second-degree burns, but managing to have a pretty damned great match while he was in there as well. Striker's dungeon of doom reference during the SD chamber was LOLworthy. Raw's chamber match wasn't particularly good, and I don't think they did anything to help Sheamus in it. However, I liked Cena winning the title only to have Batista win it right after the chamber ala Edge at NYR '06. It made Batista look like even more of a coward, and I can't wait for his victory promo on either Raw or SD.

I loved Miz talking about Danielson on WWE PPV even before his debut - it establishes him as THE man on that show, and MVP-Miz was their best match yet. Not a classic, but it had a lot of stuff I liked including MVP showing fire for a change, Show punching him to give Miz the win, and Miz being the Miz. The women's match...happened. Maryse, as usual, was the highlight of it. McIntyre's new theme was the highlight of the Drew-Kane match.

Chamber screens -

Rey lit all cool-like -

Ditto for DA GAME -

And Taker's chest burn -

Striker is the best announcer in the company right now. I have no clue how JR could find Michael Cole better than him.

This PPV was below average, with the Chamber matches saving it from being a total snooze. SD Chamber was a lot better than Raw's despite the fact that the ring was never filled up with everybody. Kinda wish Shawn didn't interfere at the end, but I guess they had to set that match up.

Undertaker's botched pyro and him just walking out of it makes him ten times more badass than he was before. I can't believe he went on to compete.

no kidding.

Good to see that both titles changed hands last night. I wouldn't have guessed either one right. Looks like Batista is going to be on Raw anyways since he is suppose to be working with Vince. Jericho is always great when champ so we will see what Edge does to mess with him.

*Edit* - better video of the pyro:

Visions of Hetfield danced through my head when I saw that pyro mishap. God damn. I can't imagine, say, The Miz or Randy Orton or John Cena working through BEING ENGULFED IN FLAME PRIOR TO A MATCH.

And Ross needs to shut the fuck up. Lawler is horrid, Cole is and always has been a joke with his fake enthusiasm and straight-off-the-script delivery. Just because Jim Ross probably doesn't know who Spider-Man is (let alone Venom) doesn't mean Striker is doing a bad job.

Orton would burst into flames very easily from whatever they grease him up with before he goes out. I don't think he'd survive let alone wrestle the match.
