I didn't see Elimination Chamber since I was watching the USA vs. Canada hockey game, but it sounds like the chamber matches were really good and the rest was "meh".
Reading the results between periods of the hockey game, I really hated how the first 2 matches went. I actually like John Cena, and I enjoy Batista as a heel. However, I do not enjoy having either man as champion, and their inevitable WrestleMania matchup did not need the belt to be important. Also, does this mean Batista is officially back on Raw? I hope not. And I expected Sheamus to lose, but I can't say I'm a fan of the way things went down.
Kane vs. McIntyre sounds like it was about what everyone expected. I'm also glad that they got THREE BELT CHAMPION Miz on the card. I don't like that the Divas title match was altered. I was looking forward to the crowning of a new champion, and I am a fan of both women who were originally scheduled to take part in the match.
I was most happy with the results of the Smackdown elmination chamber. I really hope that Edge vs. Jericho is indeed the main event (as in last match) of WrestleMania rather than Cena/Batista. I'd like to see Batista retain, first off, but since I'll be attending WrestleMania, I'd really like to see my #1 and #2 favorite wrestlers in WWE- Edge and Jericho respectively- square off with Edge hopefully winning his 10th world title.
I'm looking forward to watching the chamber matches and hope to be pleasantly surprised by everything else. The show seemed to do an excellent job building to WrestleMania, as it should. Here's what I'm hoping for and expecting for WrestleMania, which probably isn't too far off from what others will predict:
World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Edge
WWE Championship: Batista vs. John Cena
Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
Triple H vs. Sheamus
Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon
Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase
I've read rumors that they're scrapping Money in the Bank in lieu of an upcoming MITB themed pay per view later this year. I hope that's not they case. If they do that, I expect a CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio match. If they do run MITB, I'd figure the participants to be as such:
Money in the Bank ladder match: Kofi Kingston vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth vs. Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz vs. Christian
EDIT: From WWE's Twitter:
