Looks like I didn't miss that much. God, these past few days have been terrible. Thursday morning I went into the hospital. Didn't feel well, and it seemed like it was one of my annual pneumonia hospitalizations. They didn't know what it was, so they did a bunch of testing. Turned out to be something that they didn't really know about, but it seems to be gone now thanks to antibiotics. Unfortunately, I didn't get to eat or drink anything until late Sunday night when I was released. For those days, I was literally out of it. Didn't know about anything that happened in the world at all. Just found out about what happened in London... :(

I guess it's time for me to catch up on whatever I missed this weekend, and it's good to be back at CAG.

But bad news begins: According to insidepulse, Shin'ya Hasimoto just passed away at the age of 40. He was one of the top guys in Zero-One (if that's still around anymore), and probably booker there. Man, that's hard.

The good news? Rhyno is a lock for the next TNA PPV this Sunday, and Matt Hardy is pretty damn likely to show up too.

On the other side of things, it's good to see that Rhyno is joining TNA. Matt Hardy's 90 days are up now, aren't they? Should be interesting.

Lawler to get cut!?

With the recent addition of The Coach to the RAW broadcast team, some speculation is taking place within WWE that Jerry Lawler could be moved off the team or even released by WWE possibly. The overwhelming opinion of Lawler in WWE is that he is seen as overpaid of what is asked of him and many feel The Coach can fill his shoes for a much smaller salary. It should be noted that Coach is said to be more popular and social with key members of the WWE production staff than Lawler is at this point.

According to reports, Spike TV officials were not happy with the "wardrobe malfunction" on RAW last Monday night during the Bikini Bootcamp segment. Spike officials were not tipped off that it was planned and felt they should have been told ahead of time.

Does anyone else find it strange that SpikeTV, the professed network for men, would be THAT concerned with pastie wardrobe malfunctions? Why is it that Oxygen (for WOMEN BTW) shows more female nudity than Spike ever does. Something is odd about that. I know the time of airing is an issue but it isn't THAT much of one, especially when FCC regulations don't apply.
 
Perhaps because no one watches Oxygen, either that or they show their nudity in what the network deems a more tasteful manner... who can tell?

Also, how fucked up would it be to release Lawler now? Part of me thinks it'd be kind of funny as at this point he doesn't contribute much to the show, but for some reason I still don't want him gone again.

I had a really strange dream that I got to interview Vince McMahon (like I was Bob Costas or something) while I didn't try to make him punch me I did ask him if the diva search was rigged again this year... he said yes. I need to stop eating before I go to bed.
 
I tried to watch that Matt Hardy video, but I started falling asleep after a few minutes...

Not sure if it's my medication or just that he is rambling/thanking too many people.

Tonight there will be a talent competition? What kind of talent? Who is the most accurate T-shirt shooter? Who can make me change the channel the quickest? What?

Guile, I also find it strange that SpikeTV had a cow over the malfunction. This isn't the first time that a breast has popped out on RAW, on SpikeTV. Also, since SpikeTV is a cable channel, I believe that they aren't subject to various policing. They could have tons of nudity, cussing, etc. and get away with it. However, the reason that most cable stations tend to watch themselves is because the advertisers may shy away from lewd content.

Well, hopefully RAW will be good tonight.

Bliss isn't that more tasteful. It's drama but I think the fact that it is a women's network is why it isn't a big deal. I guess people don't think women can exploit women.
 
That guy looked nothing like Hardy. The crappy camera should have been a dead giveaway to you guys.

The guy had no sideburns or facial hair, plus he had a pretty bad receding(sp?) hairline.
 
Just got home from a relative's house, where I was watching RAW. Flipped on the TV, and did I just catch Matt "Freakin'" Hardy beating the shit out of Edge?!
 
Ha! They should bring in guys to be the "fake" Matt Hardy the way they did Razor Ramon and Diesel all those years ago.

Come to think of it, fake Diesel's in the ring right now!
