Picked up SCV today but they had just run out of SSX. Not sure when I'll have time to drop by my other BB that has it in stock so I was wondering, is the last day of this sale price tomorrow or Sunday?

The young guy that I deal with in that store that works in videogames is awesome. He was doing everything he could to make it right. It was the manager that ultimately had some sort of problem with this...which I don't understand.

When I got mine I brought them a printed receipt saying when I purchased it and the guy just let me use a copy from in the store. It was like a laminated sheet. (I wasn't able to actually get the mag but I was able to use the coupons.)

Honestly, I think this months' mag being delayed really screwed the pooch for new subscribers. Normally the stores would have the current months' issue in stock before the month began, so they could give you that mag(and possibly the prior months' if they had leftovers) right when you signed up.

However, since they withheld it to not 'spoil' E3 that messed up the distribution for everybody, including those of us already getting the issues shipped to our houses.

Best bet is to take the receipt from when you signed up(which you should really keep in a safe place until they start shipping the issues to your house) and go in and ask(not demand) a copy of this months' issue. Simply state that it wasn't available when you signed up, which if you just signed up very early this month it wasn't due to the above mentioned issue. They should be willing to at least let you use the coupons from the mag if not give the issue to you outright.
 
My only beef with the $10 off $29.99 or more coupon is the lack of titles priced @ $29.99 or above, unless you feel like spending $25 more for a USED copy then new ($10 for SSX NEW, $35 for SSX USED).

Oh, and mine must have done spring cleaning, cause the gaming department never has anyone there :booty:

Got a copy of SCV the other night. Used the $5 cert that random members got from RZ and got it for $5. Doubt I'll like the game as much as SCII, but at this price it's cheaper than a rental.

Got a pennied out Pokedex for my brother, too.

Heh, if youre going to compare it to 2 then youre lining yourself up for disappointment. I doubt the series will ever live up to the first 2. That being said, this one is VERY solid
 
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning just went down to $34.99 used. ps3 and x360. I know their website doesn't even have the used ps3 version but I just got it from BB for $27.xx after tax and using the $10 off used coupon.

Wow thats a nice deal. I wonder if the new version of the game will see a global price drop since the studio closed. I wonder who would even get the money from the sale of the game? and are they even still manufacturing this game at all?

Picked up SSX (PS3) today. Was totally painless and didn't get any flack from the check out lady. I might subscribe to the mag if these deals keep coming.
Edit: Forgot to mention they let me keep the coupon. Is this normal?

Hit or miss on whether they keep it or not, probably depends on the cashier/store. This month, they told me they needed to keep them, but in months past let me keep them.
 
Got SSX and subscribed to the club too. I figures I was going to do it at some point, might as well do it when I can get SSX for $10. However, I did try to resist buying it, but ended up failing
 
Went to BB and had 3 copies of SCV out on the shelf, but no SSX. Asked an associate and he did an inventory check on the computer and went in the back to grab and put out another 4 copies. Grabbed both SSX and SCV! :D

July/August will be ONE issue. Gamer prints 10 magazines a year. That's why these coupons are good until mid-July. The next issue will be out mid-to-late July, and then the next issue won't land until early September.

I can get it for sub $30? Sweet! Now if only EA weren't jerks about used games I could get the whole game for that price... jokes on them however since I refuse to pay for there stupid extra mission!

The used games are already cheaper than $55 & then seeing the $10 off $45 or $40 would generally push them over the top whether it's a $15 sub or $5 mag add on. These people's money helps get more $5-$10 games & the usage rate is pretty decent that's why they keep them coming.

I have more interest in them doubling the total # of coupons per mag & giving a lot more diversity each month. Vita/3DS games monthly, added new game specific ones, adding 2-3 more used game ones too. Will be providing link shortly how can anyone not like MORE coupons LOL except for that Capital One baby who threw stuff @ Jimmy Fallon.

Also, since it's a double month issue that's the time to do it & you won't have to worry about missing a months mag waiting 6-8 weeks.

The only problem is finding tales of graces f used in store. I'd rather have $10 off on $19.99up games. More choices and more appealing for us CAGs.
 
I actually think oppositely on the $10 off used coupon. I could use that multiple times.

Sure you aren't getting the BEST deals on some games, but like last week when I wanted to rebuy Skyrim before Dawnguard came out, I only ended up paying $31.50 after everything.

Again, not the greatest, especially since it was $35 NEW a few weeks ago..but that beats Gamestop or anywhere else's $59.99 price. Hell, $30 is about the lowest youll even get on CAG trading with people for games like Skyrim, MP3, Witcher 2, MW3, etc..

The games that hover in $30-$35 range are generally @gamer coupon $10-$15 new or $20 DOTD material...see what BB does to us warped thinking LOL.
