Hey... I'm kind of strapped for time, so I will only list the major titles and the new titles that I noticed on the list (and re-highlight some awesome deals). The other thread was too much of a mess - this one is the definitive list of the blue light titles with all the correct titles. I will go back through if the demand is there and add in all the titles - for now these are just the important ones.

The other list is only about 50% right at this point, so don't bother linking to it, you are just going to confuse everyone.

The price I list is the price after the 50% off.

Sale runs from Saturday 9/17 to Sunday 9/18.

Zoo Keeper - 9.99
Tiger Woods 2005 and Madden 2005 - 14.99

PS One:

Final Fantasy 7 (GH version) - 7.50

No PSP games whatsoever. The rest of the list is the crap that's just shown up the other 20 times (Baten Kaitos, Jak 2). Like I said earlier, if the demand is there I will put the rest of the stuff up, but all the good games are already listed.

If I didn't add it right now, it is NOT PART OF THE SALE, as all the hot games are listed, there's just another 150 games that are GH / shovelware I didn't list.

My kmart didn't have anything marked either. The electronics guy looked like he had enough trouble dressing himself, so I didn't ask him to actually check the games. But if the deal is nationwide and they are just not posting the price job, I'll go back.
I thought you couldn't use the HD to store saves; it's just for game content to load up faster...
True, you can't use it exactly like a memory card, but you can copy your game saves from your memory card to your hard drive. So I'll just put old game saves on the hard drive, and that should leave enough room for newer games.

yea, my kmart knew nothing about the sale..the lady said..."well, maybe it starts tomorrow b/c i havent gotten any info about it"

so i'll check again tomorrow...i was really looking to get GTA advance...they have bubble bobble: old and new and mario vs dk...that's all i remember...

My K-mart had a big rack out next to the normal game cases for the sale games. There was zero GBA games included at my store, and some of the greatest hits were marked at $15.00 before the %50 drop. Was in Longview Texas. Outside of the Greatest Hits, there wasn't anything that caught my eye. Picked up another copy of Animal Crossing for $10 though.

mine has a shitload of FF IV greatest hits
Aren't they only worth about 15 at the highest?
Is it worth picking one up?

Stopped by local Kmart here and they didn't have ANY games on sale...
I looked to see if I could find some from the list to check the prices but they also had no games from the list.

Does anyone remember if the PSOne combo and/ or screens are a part of this sale? Some of the Kmarts around here do have some left. The combos are marked $80 (clearance tags) and the screens were marked $109 (c tag) at one and $26 (c tag) at another. I did have the girl scan a combo at one store and it still rang up $80.

Anyone know if MA: 2 Lone Wolf is on the EB POX list? If not, then I might try to pick up an extra copy for trade bait towards Burnout Revenge or Rainbow Six Lockdown

I didn't see it on the list but my Kmart had Project Snowblind for ten bucks. Great price for anyone that missed out on the Circuit City clearance.

i hit a kmart by me...the lady was clueless but I had the list and they rang up clearance as promised...

i got
zoo keeper
baten kaitos
megaman anniv collection
mario vs dk
classic gba nes castlevania for 5 bucks

there were lots of feel the magic, zoo keeper, loads of the ps2/xbox stuff, little GC stuff and some GBA games I saw 4 or 5 Mario Cart and maybe a few others...

I picked up Zoo Keeper and Urbz: Sims in the City.

Everything was behind the glass and when I asked the guy what was on sale he only said that the GH PS2 games were on sale. I asked him to check a couple DS games for me and he repeated that only PS2 GH games were on sale. Finally he budged and was surprised when the above DS games were on sale.

I went to Kmart today, and they had a area of games that where 50% off, but not DS games, so I asked the guy to scan Urbz: Sims in the City and see, and he wouldn't...I'm kind of ticked off. Is anyone sure that it actually is on sale or clearance?
Hmm, only thing that stood out is Zoo Keeper for $10. Is it worth $10?
I believe it's essentially Bejeweled with animals. So, yes.

Well, K-mart at Chapel Hills mall in CO Springs, CO was something of a wash. they had a few ps2 games (Alias, Dukes of Hazard, etc)... no GBA games at all. I saw Karaoke Rev 2, wasn;t tagged... I would have asked about , but I decided I didn't really want it, so I didn;t want to bother getting it out of the case. They had Feel the Magic and Urbz for DS, not tagged... the only DS games they had tagged were Ping Pals (9.99) and Sprung (14.99)

I almost asked about Feel the Magic, but I just can't decide about that... I'm female, so it seems like a stupid game for me to buy ;P

Also worth noting that they had no Blue Light signage anywhere near or in the store, just some "clearance" signs... and most of the other clearance stuff didn't seem that great... at least in the housewares section.

I may see if I can persuade the hubby to stop by one of the other K-marts in town later.

That's my report from my little corner of CO... so far ;)
Well, I'm back from the other K-Mart in my area with a few more good games.

GBA -

Harvest Moon: MFoMT - $3 (rang up as Tetris DX on register)
OMfreakinGosh! What a deal!! I may have to try that! Thanks :D

Hell yes!

I'm happy I suppose, I picked up the Ps1 screen, car adapter, and Megaman X8. They didn't have any of the GBA games. I have to go to Big Lots to return some stuff anyway, which is past K-Mart. Which blows. Maybe Shrike got lucky and he'll sell em all to us for cost + shipping.

Er, I'm a guy, and I'm gonna feel really gay asking for "Feel the Magic." lol

I went to the KMart in MiddleVillage Queens today and they didn't have anything that was mentioned on the list either. The guy who worked there didn't know about the sale either and had to call his manager who came over with the list. Pretty disappointing that they didn't have anything at all that I was looking for, I was only looking for PS2 and GBA games though. Oh well, at least I got an original boxed version of Final Fantasy X-2 w/ guide for $15 from the BJs below.

i didnt feel weird at all when i bought it for $15 at the beginning of the summer for one of the kmart blue lights... feel secure bout yourself dawg.

Great sale! My K-Mart had a decent selection. I was able to get 3 out of the 4 games I wanted, including:

Baten Kaitos (2 copies, 1 left) for $14.99 (reg. $29.99)
Karaoke Revolution Vol. 2 (1 copy, 0 left) for $14.99 (reg. $29.99)
Zoo Keeper (multiple copies) for $9.99 (reg. $19.99)

Total: $39.97 (receipt says I saved $40.00, but truly I saved about $30.00)

The only thing I wanted and didn't get was Shadow Hearts: Covenant, but that's okay as Karaoke Revolution Vol. 2 was my priority. They had a lot of a GBA games from a brief glimpse, but I didn't pay much attention to them.

Got 2 PS1 screens for 26 bucks each. Mech Assault2, Megaman X8, Megaman X10, Driver 1 and 2 collection for 10 bucks each. Good deals...
I went to Kmart today, and they had a area of games that where 50% off, but not DS games, so I asked the guy to scan Urbz: Sims in the City and see, and he wouldn't...I'm kind of ticked off. Is anyone sure that it actually is on sale or clearance?
It is on sale, I bought it myself from my own store.

Everything on the list is 100% on the sale, no doubt about it all. No matter what any K-Mart employee tells you, it WILL scan up as "ADV" along with the price.

The people finding stuff that's not on my own list I received is stuff my store has not had in forever (such as Golden Sun or Gradius Galaxies) so I can't vouch for that.

As for myself, I picked up -

Urbz DS
Feel the Magic
Mechassault 2
Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (xbox)
Pacman World 2 (Gamecube)

And I snagged the last copy of Metal Slug Advance (not on the sale).

will there be any bins? cuz i went today...no signs, no bins...just looked like a regular day...maybe it starts tomorrow here...arent bluelight specials on weekends only?

whatever...if i can't find GTA advance, can anyone pick me up a copy? they have some games there such as mario vs donkey kong and bubble bobble: old and new at my kmart if anyone is interested...

thanks

Depends on the store. Since I run my dept. very tight, we had a big cart full of games that were organized by system with plenty of signs advertising the 50% off.

The sale goes from today to Monday, I promise.

Yeah, I went to mine and it's apparently going to start tomorrow. They said that they were going to have a clearance sale this weekend in the store. Just to make sure, I checked a copy of SMB Advance 4 and found that it was still full price.
Just to make sure, I checked a copy of SMB Advance 4 and found that it was still full price.
If it's the same price tommorrow, it means they didn't update the games to ring out at 50%... in that case ask to speak to a manager and ask to see the official list since one does exist.

I had that problem with some other sale items tonight, so I had to update them manually.

Holy shit, PS for $10? My buddy wants this for his birthday, thinking it still costs $50 :D. This would be a great way to save some money...

How much does it normally retail for?

EDIT: Also, is it advertised anywhere? God, if I could pricematch this down another dollar, that would kick ass :D

19.99

Is there a physical ad so I can pricematch some of these games at GR? I have loads of credit there. And does anyone know if you can even pricematch things at GR? -_-

There is no physical ad, the list would be way too long.

:(. Looks like no Feel the Magic, PoP:WW, or Grand Theft Auto Advance for me. :'(

Unless someone wants to be paid in GR credit! :D!

Ok, I actually just went there are they did have it on sale after my bro made the guy scan it, so he did and it was on sale. So he picked it up today and tomorrow I will be going to pick up a PS1 screen. Thanks for letting me know about this offer.
Not sure if this has been covered already, but is this sale going on in the new Sears Essentials stores? I am assuming no, but wanted to be sure before I make a trip. Thanks!
No. Or at least, not at the one I went to.

I went today to what I thought was a K-Mart but is now a half-complete Sears Essentials. They had videogames...but a terrible selection. They did have GBA Mario vs. Donkey Kong, which is on the list, but a price check showed it to be $34.95 as marked.

The toys section still looks like K-Mart, but the video games are all Sears. It's a shame, because the store is prettier now. Don't think I'll be going back, though.
And I guess I'll be missing out on this sale.

Ok, hit another Kmart tonight... Nevada and Fillmore, for those of you who may be int he CO Springs area. They had Beyblade Force and some Dora the Explorer game on GBA for $6 each. ET for... $24.99, I think? Digimon racing, 19.99, Harry Potter atCoS for $7. That is all I remember for GBA. Nothing that interested me on consoles... I onyl remember a few titles... Dead to Rights GH 9.99, Haunted Mansion on GC (I think) for around 20... then there were the obligatory sports titles. Had them price check Harvest moon MFoMT and it was $30 :( No sale DS games at all.

One more Kmart left to hit in town... maybe I'll get there if we have to head that way for something else. I might head back up to the first one I went to and maybe pick up a few things, I don't know... I have Sims Urbz on GBA - does anyone think it's worth getting on DS? And what about Feel the Magic, since I am female... just seems odd to me :p Not sure about Karaoke Rev, either. I like to sing, and I'm a big DDR fan, but not sure how much I'd enjoy this one. Maybe there is some better GBA goodness to be had at the other Kmart... hopefully, I'll get to check.

Er, I'm a guy, and I'm gonna feel really gay asking for "Feel the Magic." lol
Er, I'm gay and I felt really...straight playing "Feel the Magic".

Wait, no, that's not it.

I felt really gay asking for a heterosexual dating game.

No, that's not it either.

I felt really good playing a funny and inventive game that's a really good use of the DS, and didn't think twice about the gender issues, which are pretty much irrelevant.

Yes, that's it.

I know, I know, it really is a cool game. Just the name and the cover, I find to be really silly.

Anyway, thanks to the reassurances in here, I went back to the stores and it worked! Score! No wonder K-Mart is in trouble, no signs or advertisements. And at both stores, the employees didn't imply that anything was strange about that! Yeesh.

i went today again today...looked exactly like yesterday...no signs, no bins...just looked like a regular day...

i couldn't find GTA advance, can anyone pick me up a copy? they have some games at my kmart such as bubble bobble: old and new if anyone is interested...

i would also pay for GTA advance

i also snagged a copy of mario vs donkey kong (gba) if anyone can get GTA: advance and wants to trade

thanks

I was able to grab Zoo Keeper DS for $9.99 and picked up a Mario Party-e game for $1.99 on clearance while I was there too.
I asked the guy to scan Urbz: Sims in the City and see, and he wouldn't...I'm kind of ticked off.
What you should really do in cases like this insist on getting service, either from the same person or another. At best, you can make sure the employee will never give anybody (the same kind of) trouble in the future.

Or you could just "decide to buy it", have him ring you up, and then just leave before paying if you don't like the price.

I had the same trouble with Animal Crossing. I asked him to scan it, and he said, "It's $19.99." I asked again, and he just looked at me and repeated, "all player's choice titles are $19.99." Pffft.
