Shipping conditions seem to mean they ship to other countries, possibly the US, but the Sell to conditions state delivery address has to be in the UK, so I don't know which one is correct :/

Edit: Read a little more, realized the "Sell To" conditions are regarding selling games TO the website's store, not buying from it. After registering, the price went from 32.99 pounds to 42.99 euros, I'll double-check if that changes the value any :/

I think what happened with KZ2's collector's edition was after all the hype generated for R2 didn't do that much (partly because R2 is hard to sell, and its SP had lots of problems) they didn't want to spend as much on KZ2 which everyone knows about for the most part.
 
Having a steel-book versions of it would be awesome though, so I wouldn't mind going through a bit of trouble to get it, as long as it's decently priced.

The ShopTo.net site kinda pulled a fast one on me, you can change the currency on the right side of the screen, so I got it back to 32.99 pounds, with the 1 pound off coupon it = 31.99, assuming highest shipping cost at 4.50, total is 36.49.

The total at Blahdvd.com is 36.94 with shipping included.

Both currencies are in Pounds, so ShopTo.net seems like a slightly better choice, and looks a little more reputable judging by comparisons of both websites presentations, but there could be better places out there...maybe.
 
Blahdvd.com is the same as dvd.co.uk so its pretty reputable as well, I took the plunge, only problem I can forsee is dlc for the UK version must be bought from uk store, but entropay can fix that. 36.94 in pounds is about the same as $53 i think, so its not a bad price for the steelbook.

I just hope I dont get nailed with import fee's and/or customs tax's.
 
I hope there is a midnight launch. Since I will be feeling sick that friday (cough) it will be easier for me to call in and not have to leave the house when the stores open.
 
Well the European review embargo is ending in a few minutes so reviews will start flooding in.

I know that Gamepro gave it a 5/5.

It's deceptive though. This is a methodical shooter that makes few concessions to those not already interested in its single-minded approach to cover-based military action. I've compared it to Rainbow Six in the past, but it also calls to mind F.E.A.R, another tough tactical effort that was often misunderstood by those expecting a frag-happy spook hunt. Killzone 2 is a taut and muscular game, a shooter that gives back more than you put in, provided you have the intestinal fortitude. It may take its time revealing its true depths and pleasures, but the journey is well worth taking. Between Killzone 2's unforgiving grit and Resistance 2's alien-bursting excess, the PS3 finally has both ends of the shooter spectrum covered in grand style.

Nice to see some love from the critics and good to know at least that aspect is living up to the hype.

I'm still surprised there's no CE of this game.
 
Lol at anyone who thought this would be getting all 8's. Not that reviews matter very much but I think everyone should have expected this.

But good to see high scores. Should be good then.

Just watched the IGN video review. I want this game SUPER bad now. If the the multi-player is as good or better than COD4, I will be playing it for months.
 
I think that the lowballing of PS3 scores, mostly happens in the US. So if the game were going to get all 8's, it'll be with US websites and magazines.

Awesome reviews. I'm getting kind of pumped for this game now. PS3 just needs a few more great games for me to convince my friends to get one so I have people to play with online.

I just ordersed at Gamestop online to get the demo code = $66, going to cancel that
also ordered at Amazon.com to get discount and HOME items = $52
 
Doesn't the demo for the game become available to everyone the day before the game releases? Trying to get my facts in order.

lol i canceled to and ordered threw Amazon..but i got my demo code . so now i get the demo and the Home Clothes
 
They're jerks over here... The guy I was dealing with seemed nice enough he'd give it to me anyway but, he had to ask a co-worker that said no. Funny thing is according to the guy I talked to, only 4 people pre-ordered there.

Correct, no LE has been announced (as of yet). Europe is getting a steel-book edition -- the only difference being the case but with no additional goodies.

Ya know... I really don't get why they do that in this industry. (Other than the obvious to hype up a game or stir all the fanboy debates.) It's really getting fucking annoying. Dat wus a sneaky plan... I never would've saw that comin... :roll:
 
So, a guy in Germany bought 5 of my Killzone demo codes. After I sent him the codes, paypal notifies me that the transaction is under investigation. Two weeks later, Paypal decides the transaction was unauthorized and they took the money out of my account (so the guy has the codes and his money). Since I don't want to risk re-selling them and them not working, and he cant use the codes til February 5th, I'm going to post them here in hopes that you all get to them before he does:

thanks man. I woulda given you some XBLA games or something for one of those =). Anyway I'll give it a try on the 5th. Hopefully I can grab one =) I want to play it til it hit used shelf in gamestop with the 20-25% off xD. Too cheap to buy games brand new muahaha.
