I got it for 24.99 because it was in the 50% bin. They Override it for me.

Metroid/Wavebird bundle clearance for $29.99 (boblentil)
It was placed on clearance within the last couple weeks, because it was full price last time I checked. Typically, Kmart clearance items will have their prices halved every month. You might want to try to wait this one out for another price drop, because there is a very good chance that the bundle will be poorly displayed and no one will bother to change the marked price.

Did pretty good. Picked up Blinx 2, Outrun 2, Links 2004 for $9.99 Also picked up Thief for $14.99

Anybody interested in doing an XBOX game swap? I have 100% Ebay feedback with over 100 sales. I picked up an extra copy of Outrun 2 and Links 2004. I am looking for SSX 3. Send me a PM if interested.
 
Great news: the employees at my Kmart finally figured out the donkey konga bongos should be in the video games section, not next to the music stuff.

They're bound to sell them now (eventually).
 
*sigh* another trip to the christiansburg (virginia tech area) kmart and again nothing for me. i was hoping to find Riddick for $15... but basically the place was picked dry. Nothing really of interest for me. They still had a lot of Mech Assaults, Dead To Rights, etc etc. Oh well...

A few more that I haven't seen listed. These were all at the Ventura, CA store on Victoria Ave.

Went to the Herald Square KMart in Manhattan and tried to pick up a MP4 bundle, but it rang up as $70. They didn't have any other game merchandise set aside for sale, so it's not like there was another pile of blue-light stuff I could refer to. Without real evidence, I had to put it back.

My understanding is that all KMarts have their inventory hardwired, and that whar rings up at one price one place should ring up at that price everywhere. I don't know why I got shut down. It's the second time I dragged my wife to KMart expecting to get this on sale -- she's pretty disheartened.

I was bit disappointed because my local KMart didn't have any of the GBA games that were on the list but I did manage to get Simpson's Hit and Run for Gamecube and Wrestlemania XIX for Gamecube. I saw most of the heavy hitters in the bin but decided to pass on them because I figured I would never get around to playing them anyway.

Only place in the area that carries Asian Cult Cinema afaik. yea I am pretty sure the Borders there is still open. I came up Six Forks, and not Strickland so I did not see it, but unless it just recently closed I am pretty sure it is still open

and thanks for checking the Garner location. I have to go near there almost everyday, and on my one week off I really do not want to drive out there unless I have to (I go to Wake Tech)

I don't think anyone but senior citizens go to my K-Mart. I had trouble even finding it (I just moved here). It was loaded with pretty much everything from the list. No signs or bins. The woman there didn't even know they were having a sale.

yea, it's still there...and the movie theater came back after being shut down

i live really close to that kmart, but it takes a while to walk there though..i didnt buy anything @ that kmart :(
 
I bought VJ2 from BB like a week ago. Would they pricematch K-Mart's reduced price? If so, how would I go about doing that?

splinter cell pt for cube was marked half off for 10 . project snowblind wasnt, but i did happen to stumble across a Metroid prime wavebird bundle which i was told there none of when the other sale was going down. i also got a mario party joint, but will end up returning both. kmart is the worst store ever. i may go back and grab that pandora tom. for cube. anyone play it?

Picked up VJ2 for 10 and the MP4/Wavebird package for 35. The lady who rang me up was surprised, b/c none of the games were marked and there were no bins. She too wanted the Wavebird combo for her kids when she saw it ring up for 35 instead of the stickered price of 70, but it was the last one.
 
I went in for VJ2, but they didn't have any left. All of their games were behind glass, but they had tags over everything that was on sale. I ended up getting Wario Ware (GC) for $15 and Baten Kaitos for $25. They actually had a pretty decent selection from the list, just no VJ2. Rargh.
 
Damn, why do deals like this happen on off pay weeks. I got to look directly at the list of games that were 50% off when I asked an employee which games where on sale he handed me a list of about five pages worth of games. Because at my K-Mart they have all of the games behind the glass. I can't believe it when I was looking at the prices I was thinking that the price listed was the 50% off but it was actually the regular price but it was half off that price.

For example, they had Bloodrayne 1 and 2 for PS2 listed. BR1 is $19.99 and BR2 was $29.99 so the first would be 10 and the second would be 15 based on what I saw on the list. I am mad because I didn't pay close attention to list.

When I got to the store, this kid was sitting on the floor with the last copy of Viewtiful Joe 2 in his hands. I thought I was going to have to drop-kick him for it, but he put it back and I immediately snatched it. Good news for you, BigSpoony, 'cause now I don't have to fling poo at your doorstep.
 
What I just realized is that you can take advantage of this sale all and night today and tomorrow because if you have a Super Kmart they are open 24 hours like the closest Kmart to me is.

My Kmart has the MP4/Wavebird combo locked in the cabinet, but it looks like there's a custom K-mart logo on the game box art. Can anybody confirm this, or convince me that it's just a sticker? I know this is kind of anal, but I really, REALLY hate getting games with store logos on the package like that.
 
And yet another reason why I don't shop at KMart:

Went to the Garner NC location, and the staff sucks. I found 2 copies of Castlevania Circle of the Moon with the yellowsticker of 7.99 in the "50$ off Cart". 1/2 of 7.99 = 3.99, right? When I asked someone to get Custom Robo out of the case, I was given major attitude by the guy, who said "The price in there ($39.99) is the price, the 19.99 it scanned up is wrong." I asked him why the CotM didn't scan at 3.99 like they were supposed to, he said "The stuff in the cart is already marked at 50% off." "Well, this Midnight Club 2 (xbox) is marked at 19.99 but I scanned it at 9.99."

"WELL, THAT'S WRONG! IT'S ALL MARKED! EITHER PAY THAT PRICE OR LEAVE!" So I said hell with it and left.

It's actually printed on the box art. Sucks, but that's how it is.

The yellow sticker is after 50% off.. usually.

I haven't opened my VJ2. I wouldn't mind trading it, but I don't think there's anything here that I really want.. and the things I DO want aren't an even trade.. like Men of Valor, Snowblind, etc.. but if you guys have some XBox games that aren't in my collection list, shoot me a PM and we'll see what happens.
 
Scorch- the MC2 was yellow stickered, and it rang up 50% off the yallow sticker, so I dunno what the deal is. I'll hopefully have better luck tommorow.

Hmm.. the games here were already 50% off on teh sticker. The woman I talked with was really helpful, she actually scanned any game I wanted.

I mentioned something about this to the guy in electronics about this & how it's nice when stores have price scanners. I didn't relize that my Kmart had afew in my store so on the way out I checked the price on my copy of VJ2 & it came up with the 50% off on the price scanner ($9.99)

Here's an idea you can use to check prices of any game your unsure of if your Kmart has any price scanners around the store. All credit goes to TimTucker for this idea

Go to half.com to lookup the UPCs for what you're interested in, then go to http://www.upcdatabase.com to get barcodes. (I usually just copy & paste whatever I'm interested in into a word file & then print out a sheet -- that way I can go to any of the scanners in the store and look up prices for whatever I want)

Would be nice if I had a PDA with software to generate the barcodes, though -- that way I could come up with a barcode for anything without having to go home and print it out.

Dude this is freaking awesome. This means that I can link up a word document that I can place all of the UPC for each of the games I find and look up at the manual price checker at Target and Kmart. If I would have known this awhile ago this would have saved me so much time and effort. Thanks a lot, now all I have to do is get the UPC for all of the Kmart games and take it to the store later today.
 
It's actually printed on the box art. Sucks, but that's how it is.

If it was $20 I might have to learn to cope with the ugly label, but $35 for a game with a nasty box art blurb and yet another wavebird is a little easier to walk away from, especially after all I spent on my BB's 50% off "hot dot" sale. Thanks for the info just the same.
