I got it for 24.99 because it was in the 50% bin. They Override it for me.
Fable - Not Certain (29.99) They override it and gave it to me for 15

I could not confirm the prices since the sale does not start till tommorow but they were all in the 50% off bin starting tommorow.

I'll try to confirm the prices tommorow, if anyone finds anything else or know the prices pm me I'll try and keep this list updated so we don't need to scan through the forums if you guys don't mind, I will credit whoever pmed me first.

Metroid/Wavebird bundle clearance for $29.99 (boblentil)
It was placed on clearance within the last couple weeks, because it was full price last time I checked. Typically, Kmart clearance items will have their prices halved every month. You might want to try to wait this one out for another price drop, because there is a very good chance that the bundle will be poorly displayed and no one will bother to change the marked price.

If you have Xbox Live you should wait. A live enabled version is slated to come out.

If anyone lives near me, the K-Mart near Ridgeway, VA has several Mario Party 4/Wavebird bundles at $34.99. They also had one copy of VJ2, FFTA and Metal Slug Advance left.

I got one of all of those except Metal Slug Advance because I already got it during the last K-Mart sale.

Someone said something about Animal Crossing being $9.99...is that the regualr version? The Player's Choice version was still $19.99 when I tried it.

I got a copy of Viewtiful Joe 2 for GameCube very nice at $10 thanks OP :D I'm kinda hoping that nothing else is found cheaper that I want as I don't really have the money to spare :lol:

I mentioned something about this to the guy in electronics about this & how it's nice when stores have price scanners. I didn't relize that my Kmart had afew in my store so on the way out I checked the price on my copy of VJ2 & it came up with the 50% off on the price scanner ($9.99)

Here's an idea you can use to check prices of any game your unsure of if your Kmart has any price scanners around the store. All credit goes to TimTucker for this idea

Go to half.com to lookup the UPCs for what you're interested in, then go to http://www.upcdatabase.com to get barcodes. (I usually just copy & paste whatever I'm interested in into a word file & then print out a sheet -- that way I can go to any of the scanners in the store and look up prices for whatever I want)

Would be nice if I had a PDA with software to generate the barcodes, though -- that way I could come up with a barcode for anything without having to go home and print it out.

Picked up Baten Kaitos at the Saugus, MA K-Mart for $25.

It was in the case, not the bin, so I asked the clerk (a middle-aged woman) to come over so I could get it out. I pointed to it and said I wanted to price-check that (should've just said I wanted that game). She said, "It's 49.99, says so right on the sticker." I respond, "I know but it is on sale, I just want to check it before I buy." She's insisting rudely: "No, it's marked 49.99 so it's not on sale. The games in the bin are on sale." So I say kind of forcefully, "Just let me get the game." So she opens it and I scan it at the nearby scanner, and sure enough, $25! She didn't say anything. I love proving the clerks wrong. :p

Is the FFXI w/ HDD 50% off? Can someone confirm if it's on sale and how much it will be? I really want one but it's hard to find it for cheap! Also, is Riddick for Xbox really $15? That's a great price!!
 
Just picked up DOA 3, Contra Shattered Soldier (Schwing!!!), VJ 2, and Soul Calibur 2 GCN for $9.99 a piece. I was going to get Thief as well, but I've got to have money for my alcoholism later on. CAG is once again starting to break the bank

On a side note, they had an Easter Bunny getup for kids to get their pictures taken. The bunny looked miserable, almost like a happier Donny Darko version. I had to ask how many kids had cried in fear so far today, and the reply was "only a few". I then retorted "come on man, you gotta fill the quota of 20 by the end of the day"
 
Well I went, and the clearance bin was very disappointing, so I was fairly frustrated. Since I had troubled myself to go out there I decided I might as well look in the cases to see if they have anything. They had a copy of VJ2 marked at $20, but I had really come looking for Baten Kaitos. Naturally it had no fronts, and I was about to give up, but figured, eh maybe if I look again it will magically appear. Sure enough there was a copy tucked away in the corner, marked at $50. I got an employee to come open the case and asked him to scan the games, and they came up 50% off so I got them both. \:D/

I looked for LoZ:ALttP and FF:TTA, but I didn't see either one. I see that Fire Emblem is also on the list, so I may have to go back and look for it, at $15 that's a steal.

Ok I just remembered everytime I call K-Mart the people working at the electronics know nothing about video games. So should I just go down to K-Mart and hope for the best? I know my K-Marts suck because they usually have old things.
 
i just went to the k-mart at groesbeck and 15 in clinton township, mi. games i picked up were:

-baten katios - $25 (last copy they had)
-bloodrayne 2 - $15 (for a friend)
-soul calibur 2 - $10
-viewtiful joe 2 - $10

they had all the games sitting in two medium sized plastic bins which were placed on a counter near the dvds, kind of away from the video games. pink and green "easter sale" signs were hanging from the ceiling. here are some other games i remember and the prices after the 50%

-street racing syndicate - $25 (one copy)
-hitman 2 - $10 (a lot of these)
-hitman contracts - $15
-tetris worlds/clone wars promo multipack thing - $25 (no plastic wrap on the cases, 3 or 4 of them)
-tiger woods 2004 (gamecube) - $15 i think
-jak and daxter - $10 (a bunch)
-jak 2 - $10
-ratchet and clank - $10
-kareoke revolution 2 - $15 or $25 (a bunch)
-eyetoy groove or something like that - $20 or so (a bunch)
-dead or alive 3 - $10 (a lot of them)
-silent hill 2 xbox - $25 (wasn't platinum hits, but still pretty pointless)
-f-zero (newer one) GBA - $15
-mega man x8 - $20
-mega man command network (or something) - $20

Picked up Megaman X8

but also got Mortal Kombat Deception.. FOR THE GC:)

It was in the box with thte other games. Figured mistake of course, but there were two of em so its not like one person got it and said nah and stuck it in there. So she rings it up and of course I have to point out its 50% off, she's like yeah sometimes they don't show up at the price there supposed to, let me get my supervisor to overrride it. She tells him and bammo MK:Deception for 19.99:). I want the LE as well for the online and mk1 but damn I want the extra charecters as well.

Funny thing was on the Display Case was a sales flyer advertising it on sale this week for 39.99.

I just looked at that. I don''t think it will work. First, the Wavebird doesn't appear to have a UPC. And the Mario Party is not for resale and has a different UPC number from the one for the rebate. SO it looks like the rebates are a no go for the bundle.

I ended up getting the last Baten Kaitos, Metal Slug Adv., The Mario/Wavebird bundle, and VJ2.

The last two are for my sister. I've decided to get her a gamecube for her birthdya in a couple months. I wish I could find a $10 Animal Crossings. That would give her a memory card too since they're included.

Now to hope I can still find a metroid bundle or that there's a gamecube sale sometime soon.

Even if you find Animal Crossing, you'll still need to get her another memory card anyway. The one included is only big enough to store the Animal Crossing save if I recall correctly.

Its not meant for AC only, its just that one Animal Crossing save takes up 59 blocks of memory which is the whole card! :eek:

NVM, I think I'll pass up the HDD since games coming out soon probably won't support it. I might check out Riddick and Sprung though, because I hear Riddick is a good game and I need more DS games in my collection :D

Well I went to a Big K in Burnsville, MN and got MP4/Wavebird for $34.99. It was mark at regular price in the case, but I ask the guy to ring it up and yea. =] There was no Baten Kaitos though.. =T or barely anything.
 
I picked up Devil May Cry 3 for $25 clerk had to Manualy overide it and said that is not suppose to be in there but gave it to me anyway. Then she asked if there were anymore of them in the bin. They had Devil May Cry 3 and Tekken 5 both in the 50% off bin. This was at the Lafayette IN. store. If anyone is close they probally still in there
 
At my Kmart, Transformers (PS2) was $15, not $10.

Just went back, got:

-My Story-

When I was in earlier, we had to wait quite awhile to get a woman to unlock the glass case. And when she did, she was incredibly rude. There was also a manager that was just standing around, while we were waiting for help, and he didn't help. For 10 minutes (literally), he just stood around, even after we asked him for help ("somebody should be with you shortly").

So I went back for transformers, but got some other stuff that I had just seen. I had to wait 20 (literal) minutes for the clerk to open up the glass case (and the manager was still there, just standing around, not helping). While waiting I noticed that they had 2 ripped open PS2 memorycard cases on the shelf. I mentioned this to the guy, and he was like "you gotta be kidding me! idiots". Then we went to the register.

The register was being funky for some reason, but the clerk had to scan each of the games a couple of times. The total was $40 or so, and I was tired and didn't really notice anything in particular. On the way out, I was stopped by a loss prevention guy (I thought "Wow, I've never seen loss prevention guys before.") He asked me to see my receipt, and thinking nothing of it, I gave it to him. He give it a glance, then said "Thanks! Have a great night!"

I left.

I got home.

I looked at my recipt. The clerk never rang up MSA! I don't know why it didn't work, because he physically rang it in a couple of times.

I'm laughing to myself now, because the ONLY time I see a loss prevention guy at K-Mart, and it's on a day that the register messes up. Not only that, but the ONLY time I see him, and he didn't even do his job! So thanks to 2 inept employees, I got a free copy of Metal Slug Advance.

What an ironic and karma filled night! I would feel bad if it was just the cashier's mistake, but for the loss prevention guy to mess up too, this now counts as an official free lunch.

damn...didn't find CS (xbox), outrun2, shadow hearts 2, or contra shattered soldier (my 4 wants from the sale) :(

i didnt buy anything but found: Dead to rights (ps2), mark of kri, amplitude, ghost recon (ps2), and a few others...

meh...if anyone wants to trade CS (xbox) and Outrun2 to me, cml :)

NOTHING was marked, everything was behind the glass. I didn't print out a list, so I had the girl take out karaoke and vj2 first. She treid to argue with me saying she just put the 19.99 sticker on VJ2 and thats what its price was. I them tried to go to radio shack to get on CAG, but their comp was down, so i got the others out of memory. They didn't have much else on the list anyways

Also, all the girls were wearing easter bunny costunes. It reminded me of Ralphie from XMas story - I felt sorry for them

Just got back from the Redlands, Ca store. I can confirm that these prices are good here in So. Cal.( for the guy who was asking earlier) Got 2 VJ2's (GC)for $10 each, Sprung for DS was $15, Soul Calibur 2 for PS2 for $10 and finally Outrun 2 for $10 eventhough the sticker price was 39.99 so at 50% off that would have been 20. Thank you CAG members for all the info.

Just got back.. they had Rumble Roses for 20, Backyard Wrestling 2 for 15.. Animal Crossing, unfortunately, rang up the full 20, but Viewtiful Joe 2 rang up 10.. I picked up one for me and one for my brother.. got over there and he didn't really want it, so I offered to 2 for 1 one of the VJ2's with a game I had.. did that and got Republic Commando for him for free, but I am making him pay $15.. not bad, spend $20, got $15 back.. $4.99 VJ2! Woo.. haha, this is the only time i've cut him a deal, and he's my own flesh and blood :p Thanks again.. gonna keep my VJ2 sealed for now!.. they also had two Outrun 2's, but I need to be saving my money..
 
Forgot to say that I saw Conflict Vietnam and Men of Valor for Xbox for $20 each, 1080 for GC for $25! Thief for Xbox for $15 and Vietcong for $25

Just got Riddick for $14.99 from my Kmart (Adrian, MI). It was in the case and not marked 50% off, but it scanned at the sale price. Last copy too! :D
