Kmart: New 3DS XL $100, PS4 $200, Splatoon $30

Sorry, but one per customer should be a rule of thumb if it's not a literal rule of the store. Being piggy doesn't help anyone, whether you're doing it for family or for flipping purposes. I'd be royally pissed if I walked into a store for one of these deals and was told, "Yeah, we had them fifteen minutes ago, but some guy bought them all. And we had a lot of them!"

I'm reasonably certain this deal is grinding to a halt, but I do want to thank the original poster and CAG for their assistance. That was a slammin' price on a New 3DS XL... I can guarantee you I wouldn't have even CONSIDERED buying one if it hadn't been half price.

8 splatoons man? Will you sell a few to people in here that couldn't get them? Post in the trading forum if you are unloading some of that gear. I'm sure some of us will like to do a little business. You know, to help build your CAG rep.
 
Best Buy PM'ed a copy of Splatoon for me for $30! The manager asked if I was trying to PM the PS4 and we both had a good laugh at the large amount of calls they have apparently gotten regarding PM the $200 PS4. No issues with Splatoon though, so I walked away happy.

If people had the funds/opportunity/balls to buy as many PMed systems as the 4 n3DS guy did, they would. The Target where I got my PMed PS4 still has 3 more unbundled SKUs in stock 4 days in, I just checked again; if I had $800 yesterday, I would have bought all four or at least another one (who knows if they would have still complied though).

The whole, "don't be greedy" BS would hold more weight with me if only the CAG community knew about this sketchy-ass deal, but that's not the case. There are always ballsier people out there and they're going to take more than their fair share. 

It's also true that price-matching may get more difficult after this deal, but economically, price-matching actually raises prices overall by causing a chilling effect on sales in general. The entire purpose of a sale is to drive revenue into your store, at the cost of cutting profits on select items; if another retailer matches that price, they not only get their normal full retail price sales from uninformed consumers, they also get the informed consumers bringing revenue into their store and effectively poaching all of that additional revenue that the store with the sale originally was supposed to get. The entire point of price-matching is to convince competitors to not cut prices.

Overall, this entire situation is sketchy, but I don't think it's the end of the world.

No problem. IDK about the mobile site, but on the desktop site there is a button by every post that says "quote" or "multiquote". If you click quote, it will put that post into a text box at the bottom of the screen, where you can then type your response.

 
On mobile, just click on the post your trying to quote and the "quote" option will appear... Same for editing posts. Just click on your own post and an edit option will come up.
 
People jump to conclusion too much here. There are many facebook pages dedicated to deals specifically for holiday shopping done early and buying multiples of the same item for that purpose.

I like to get all my shopping done by October too. Skepticism is still valid since it's still iffy to buy that many consoles, it isn't too far fetched to think someone does have many family members and is buying it for them. I have 10+ family members (brothers, sisters, parents, gf, etc) that I buy Christmas gifts for. Many others on here probably do to.

I do as well. I have a box in my closet with many games and controllers. But 8 splatoons means there are possibly 8 different households with definitely 8 wiiu consoles. I'm pretty sure some of us will be happy to buy any "extras" that don't get gifted. But don't expect to double your money on this site for non-exclusive items.
 
The Mario Party 10 deal is not showing up on their computers at Target. I showed them on my phone but they need to see the deal on their computer in order to PM. I'll check BB.
 
Let me make one thing brutally clear to all the haters on my jock... if I indeed bought 8 to sell then I would proudly pat myself on the back and say it like a boss. And what? Who's gonna do something about it? Not one person. Maybe hit a few keystrokes and whimper like children but that's about it. I have 0 reasons to lie. I spoke the truth. For those who doubt me; doubt me. For those who were kind enough to defend me. Sincerely appreciate it. You understand where I'm coming from. However, I have a large extended family from my mother's side, father's side, step father's side and in-laws, which I'm sure you haters don't have cause U R probably single and sit on this site 24/7. Don't be mad because you didn't get the deals I got. If you could have you would've and if you say you wouldn't have you're full of butt nuggets.

Got shot down at BB trying to get MP10 PM with the Mario Amiibo.  The kmart ad doesn't show the Mario Amiibo so I could only get the PM on the regular version.  I don't want that get without the Amiibo so I didn't buy it.  I have not been doing well on these PM lol.  I guess I can try to get Splatoon but I don't really have any interest in it right now. I might try to find the black 3DS XL.  I tried it at a local Target but they only had the red one and wouldn't PM since the Black is the one on Kmart. There is another one a couple miles down the road I can try later.

 
Holy cow this thread. Some of you are painfully ignorant of internet culture, especially the part of it that revolves around gaming and deal sites. The trolling here is basic, but it is real. And no, not jealous. I got a 3ds on Saturday.

Can't wait for this thread to be closed. Hopefully sooner than later. Thank you OP but this thread is done.
 
Let's analyze this critically for just one second, shall we? If you indeed "have 0 reasons to lie," you also have 0 reasons to bother defending yourself to complete strangers. 

But you did anyway. Maybe because you feel there's a reason somewhere. And then proceeded with an ad hominem argument as if that's going to convince anyone of your virtues.

(Not that this portion of your argument is particularly relevant, but think about it: who is more likely to be single? The guy devoting his days to pricematching multiples or those of us who only got the one item we needed for ourselves and moved on? It's not on me if the answer isn't obvious to you.)

As far as what the consequences will be? I know I'm less likely to help out a CAG who I suspect to be a reseller. Especially someone that makes a habit of going overboard as you have on this opportunity. Some CAG's may care about your scrupples, others may not.

In all sincerity, you should definitely be joining SD instead. They will be more supportive of behavior that leads to cleaning out deals so that no others in your area can enjoy them. Enjoy your profits.
