www.KmartGamer.com (Blog is effective in all locations)

To receive gaming coupons you must be a Shop Your Way Rewards member. It's free and only takes a couple of minutes to sign up in store.

It's a wiki, please update. This portion of the OP is for anyone who notices a deal posted either at KmartGamer's blog, Facebook, Twitter or in this thread.

Shop Your Way Rewards:

It's a wiki, please update. This portion of the OP is for anyone who notices a SYWR offer. These offers can be very targeted (Geo, User, etc.) so anything placed needs to be validated.

Coming Soon:

All titles listed below I am working on offers for and the dates I think they are coming out.

3-23 :3ds: Kid Icarus: Uprising

Games Kmart will not be carrying:
 • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
 • Catherine
 • PC versions of Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim
 • Any other PC game that was also released on consoles.

Earning Coupons at Kmart:
If I buy a $59.99 game and use a $20 coupon, does that mean I won't get the "Spend $40 on games, get a $15 coupon" coupon?
Yes. As long as it's over $40 BEFORE you use a coupon, you're good.

Using Coupons at Kmart:
Once a coupon is used it is gone, it is not refunded. Also, if a game is purchased with a coupon promotion and then returned the coupon needs to be returned as well.

Please don't take this as I am saying you are being fraudulent, this is a general note to everyone as I know this has come up previously. We have a new fraud researcher that has started and already has tracked down people trying to exploit the system and will soon be facing action from us. Every transaction with a coupon it tied to a SYWR account.
The total BEFORE taxes must be over the value of the coupon. For example, if your coupon is for $20, you must buy at least $20 worth of gaming merchandise. (i.e. you cannot use a $20 coupon on one $19.99 game.)
You must present coupons before making payment, and redeeming points is a form of payment.

*fingers crossed for awesome Sonic Generations deal*
There's a rumor the 3DS version of Sonic Generations is getting delayed into 2012. Which makes sense if there's no coupon deal here... hmm
MW3 will probably get a $30 coupon though.
Where has this been indicated as a probability? Or even so much as a possibility?
Is the smart money on BF3 getting a $20 coupon? No way it gets $30 like Batman but I'm hoping its at least $20

Yeah it'll get at least a $20 like all the major releases. It will not get a $30. Batman got a special deal. Thats just how he rolls, because he's the goddamn Batman.
I doubt BF3 or MW3 are getting coupons. I would almost be 99% certain that MW3 is not going to get a coupon. For BF3 to retain it's stance, the MAP shouldn't drop below what MW3 sells for so unless EA decided to throw some bones, nobody is getting money off BF3. I don't see why you think you're going to get coupons for these two releases, don't kid yourselves. It'll be a conditional buy and/or rewards points.

It's called a prediction. Don't be nasty cus you're holding some sort of grade school grudge.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there supposed to be a T-shirt that came with Arkham City in addition to the $30 coupon?
Yes but WB had issues with supplying them.

That's too bad. Still getting it from KMart but the shirt was the icing on the cake.

Thx for the quick reply.

I think there's supposed to be a spend X amount on gaming get a coupon for X coming up so something like that may happen around the BF/MW3 release dates.

That was my icing on the cake too, but because of that it's a toss up for me between walmart and kmart.

Walmart is $10 coupon + AA right? For me, $30 > $10, obviously. And I already played Arkham Asylum. Plus I think if I really wanted AA, I could get it pretty cheap once City comes out. So no thanks to Walmart. I was torn between KMart and Gamestop because of the DLC but I figure it'll come out for download eventually. So KMart it is.

So this will be the first game I buy from kmart. Do I just sign up for the shop your way thing and buy the game in store and I get a 30 dollar coupon for my next purchase?

Yup that's pretty much it. Try to make sure that everything gets sent to your e-mail too, that way you'll get a copy of the coupon in your e-mail too.

Yeah. Just buy the game and make sure you use your rewards number at checkout. The coupon code is on the receipt.

I will have to go to Kmart early so I can find a limited edition copy of battlefield 3. It's very important you guys try to get the limited edition. Battlefield 3 ships with 9 maps, the limited edition comes with a code to download the "back to karkand" pack, which is valued at $15. 4 remastered battlefield 2 maps will be included in this pack. I believe it will be available for download a month after the retail release.

Hey, quick noob question.

If I get Arkham City from Kmart will they give me the gaming coupon right then? I want to know if I can buy Microsoft Points with the coupon right after.

Youll get the coupon but you wont be able to use it until next Sunday. Also dont plan on buying a 1600 point card because it wont work anyway. A 4000 point card would though.

That Arkham City deal is great! Sadly, I'm lame and haven't played the 1st one all the way through.

However, I did grab that Bioshock 2 for 9.99 (even got 50 cents off that!) $11.88 shipped was the right price!

I have a Kmart near, but their game section looks like a tornado went through it. Buying online was much easier.

Buying two 1600 point cards would be just as viable.
I thought the Battlefield 3 LE is only for preordering?
Josh said around 25% of the initial copies at Kmart will be the LE.
I thought the Battlefield 3 LE is only for preordering?
It's only guaranteed for pre orders. These EA LE (outside of the Bioware games) are always first-print run/pre-order only and either have extra DLC or extra games (on the PS3 versions) in them.
I thought the Battlefield 3 LE is only for preordering?
All launch copies of Battlefield 3 will be "limited edition" this is just a gimmick by EA to entice you to buy the games early and not wait 6 months to buy it. Hell, I still see "limited edition" Medal of Honor copies at my local Best Buy. So don't worry about pre ordering Battlefield 3. You will get a "limited edition" copy no matter what if you buy it early.

Read two posts up.
Read two posts up.
I know what Josh posted....but nowhere have I found any launch copies of a non LE edition of Battlefield 3. EA only releases "LE" editions of big games now. It is just a sales gimmick. There really is no need for pre ordering Battlefield 3 as there will be lots of copies of the "LE" edition. As long as you purchase the game within launch week, you should be fine at getting a "LE" edition of BF3. EA did the same "LE" sales gimmick with Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor. It will be the same case with BF3.

So we should listen to you instead of a buyer for a major retailer? Ummm. No thanks.

I know all about EAs LE gimmick. I figured the same for bf3 but I'm smart enough to listen to Josh when he tells us something.

Also he never said it was preorder only. He said only 25% of the games shipped would be LE. If you wanna think they will be readily available, good for you. And you might find one easily. But don't spread misinformation to others.

With all the BF3 chatter you decide to post that crap? Josh already confirmed only 25% of the BF3 copies are LE. EA has not stated that the whole first run of prints will be LE and looking at what Josh has said, the entire first print is not.

We will see what happens. I for one, am not worried at all about not getting an LE edition of BF3. I am sure there will be plenty of copies of "LE" BF3 upon launch. Same situation as with RAGE as well. Everyone was so surprised that K-Mart had the "Anarchy Edition" of RAGE in stock....but basically all first run copies of RAGE were the "Anarchy Edition." Just another sales gimmick from game publishers.

Yes but we were explicitly told that ALL FIRST SHIPMENT COPIES of Rage would be Anarchy Edition. And now we have been explicitly told that NOT all of BF3 will be LE. Get it together bro.

Yeah I saw the whole $60 coupons for $59.99 game "They gave me a penny" crap from a couple days ago. But at least maybe everyone won't listen to him about this and be disappointed when they don't get the LE

Yeah. He can think whatever he wants. I just want to make sure people don't listen to him and miss out.

Dude, don't be a nerd man. There will be PLENTY of copies of "LE" BF3 copies. If not at K-Mart then Best Buy. If someone REALLY wanted a "LE" copy of BF3, they will find a way to get it without having to pre order. And also, yes I did spend $60 in coupons on a $59.99 game at K-Mart and they owed me a penny. You jealous? I will damn well do that again and I know my local K-Mart is OK with that. Even the manager came over and approved the transaction. I wasn't afraid to try it out just because I read on an online forum that it was not possible...I tried for myself and found it it IS possible and now I am wiser because of it. Don't be mad, bro.
Yeah. He can think whatever he wants. I just want to make sure people don't listen to him and miss out.
Miss out on what? I told people should be OK with getting the LE edition as long as they purchase it within launch week. There will be plenty of copies at a plethora of retailers, not just K-Mart. And honestly, the LE edition of BF3 only includes recycled maps from Battlefield 2, so there really isn't anything that is fresh about it. It ain't no biggie whether you get the LE edition or not, so don't get all flustered, bro.

The Kmart on Easton Ave. in Somerset NJ actually had a bunch of copies of Dead Island for PS3. Didn't check for 360, but they were pretty well stocked.

Used my $20 coupon from Gears 3, thus ending my coupon chain with Kmart. Best Buy's trade in bonuses were just too tempting and their customer service has actually been surprisingly excellent.

Yeah, too bad the customer service for most K-Marts are lacking. Good thing I have good employees working the electronics department at my local K-Mart. They even let me use $60 coupons on a $59.99 game too, lol. ;)

I was totally going to jump on the Batman: Arkham City with $30 gaming coupon deal until I saw that K-marts don't carry PC versions of games (unless it's a PC exclusive IIRC). That's a dealbreaker for me. Still a fantastic deal for those who will be buying multiple 360/PS3 games this holiday.
