YES! I hate threads/posts/sites which the people/posts are negative, insulting, and condescending,etc.. It is nice that it has been respectful, helpful, and talk of games is a huge plus.. I used to not read the posts as it seemed there were a few who controlled the threads and were negative and put down people that were new to the thread-not welcoming.. IT is nice to see the change.. I don't know what it is, or who left/changed.. But it does have a different feel. It is so TITS!:applause:

Hey Josh,
You had mentioned that you were working on deals regarding the Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell trilogies. Do you have an update on what that might be? I'm planning on getting Portal 2 and at least the PoP trilogy that week (assuming that they really do come out the 19th).

And thanks for all the work you put in for the gaming community, we greatly appreciate it.

Will definitely pick up Socom 4 from Kmart if you can confirm that you'll have the Deployment Edition, otherwise will have to pass. It'd be nice to get essentially a free new release with that purchase due to the coupon.
 
What happened to Playstation Heroes? I thought the promotion continues this week, because I didn't find any copies in the store last week... Do we still get the SYWR points for Playstation Heroes?

Ok lets say i buy Shift 2 and get a $20 coupon... will I be able to use that on the "Spend $120 on games" promo, and still get my $60 credit? Or would the coupon be counted as taking the total under $120?

The purchase is totalled first which results in the promo being activated. You can then use any rewards points or coupons as a form of payment so the answer your looking for is yes.

You know what's funny is if Kmart doesn't stock it or doesn't do a deal I won't even buy a game.

I was interested in El Shaddai and Divinity 2 but without a kmart deal I just can't imagine paying full price for a game somewhere else..

Publishers should be coming to you to get included in your deals, josh!

Man, I don't get people who buy at Gamestop any more, with the exception of the occasional preorder toy. One of my friends posted to FB: "Dynasty Warriors 7 day! Woo!" I replied: "KMart has it for $10 off this week. But no, you're a Gamestop sheep, aren't you? Baa." His response: "Baaah! *munch munch*" ...and someone else Liked his comment. -.-

Look at it this way. More games for you and me. If they dont want to save money oh well. My best friend is the same way I tell him about deals and he will just goto the local store pay full price for a game and say o well every single time. I just shake my head and grow my collection.

I still may or may not pay full price, even if it is $39.99, since it might go the way of Enslaved, dropping in price a week or two after release.

But nevertheless, yeah, I wish Kmart was supporting El Shaddai.

EDIT: DeadlyToothpick, yes, the $10 off price for Dynasty Warriors 7 is for this week only.

The Deployment bundle sounds cool for those who don't have the PlayStation Move, but outside of that, is there any incentive to get it? That is, it seems more like a starter bundle than for collectors.

If you already have the move like me then there is no incentive to get it. Just pick up the game and if you want the sharp shooter gun. Im still interested in the sharp shooter. I just havent pulled the trigger yet.

I buy at whoever has the lowest price. I have no loyalty except to my wallet.

I never would've imagined shopping at K-Mart for video games. I've never shopped at K-Mart except for a few things here and there. Yet here I am, checking this thread anytime a game I want is getting ready to come out.

The delay is there so that you have to wait to use it till the following promotion..

Exactly. Some people either just don't get the reasoning behind it or were hoping to exploit it themselves.
 
Good experience again in store. Just had to pay up front instead of in Electronics due to a cash register that was a little funked up. :)

Got Nascar and Shift 2, using my SYWR credit and got both coupons without a hassle.

Is it new this week that you are also emailing the coupons to us? Nice touch, I like it, now I don't have to safeguard my coupons before I use 'em!!

Not quite sure. I know the coupon prints off on red and white tape and not like the game codes. Who knows it could be a issue with the register or something as dumb as the paper being out.
 
To get the $10 off $20 deal on cards during the Mortal Kombat and Portal week do you have to buy both of them or just one of them? I'd like to get Mortal Kombat, WWE All Stars, and then a card to get the $60 coupon, but will that work?

Also, has anyone said if Kmart will have anything beyond the regular edition Mortal Kombat?

Either Portal 2 or MK will get you $10 off a card. You DO NOT have to buy both.

Same day use has plenty of non-exploitative uses. Case in point, wait until fall when you get multiple releases a week. Then being able to chain together purchases will be a lifesaver, so I can get all the games I want without having to pick and choose like I did last year. It's why I never picked up Enslaved until last month (or whenever the promo was), since I couldn't fit it into my budget last fall unless I could use a coupon on it and get another one back, and since that wasn't possible, I passed.

This. As long as there are other games I want coming out the next week or later, then I still get the full value of the coupons but instant use is very helpful to a lot of people.
