Does anybody know the retail price for legos pirates of the caribean? It's gonna be $34.96 at fry's next week for the xbox 360.

Three questions for you, Josh.

1) If I spend $150 this weekend for the mother's day special, and I used $60 gaming coupons, would I still get the 25k SYWR points?

2) If I used $60 in gaming coupons on a purchase (before tax) totaling up to $60, would I still have to pay tax? Best Buy's reward certificates has it so that you only pay tax on the amount you pay AFTER the certificate, so if I bought a $20 item and had a $15 rewards cert, i'd only need to pay tax on the $5. Not sure if this worked the same way for Kmart's gaming coupons.

3) Test drive unlimited 2 for 360 and ps3 is now $30 msrp. When can we expect Kmart to drop as well? :D

I got to work today and there was a stack of "$5 off $50 purchase" K-Mart coupons on my desk. They have my store's location printed on them and are apparently only good there for the entire month of May.

The verbiage says "$5 off regular, sale and/or clearance priced merchandise purchase in-store of $50 or more (purchase requirement calculated before taxes and other discounts have been applied) in a single transaction. Cannot combine with any other coupon for the same item(s) and cannot double."

Does this sound like the same $5 coupon that's floated around before? This is the first one I've seen and even though I'm going to try it anyway, I'm curious if the restrictions are accurately supported by the system in that I couldn't use my $15 MK coupon with it.
I know it's a long way out, but without giving away the details entirely, can you tell us if the PS3 deal you mentioned for the week of 6/5 will be worth foregoing the use of $60 in coupons on it in favor of something within the coupon date range?
Yes, very much so, IMO.
Josh, gotta ask once more, hope I'm not pestering ^_^

Might hit a few out-of-town stores this weekend, so this info could be very helpful! Thanks again!
D7 will have a deal this month. After you asked I called Tecmo and I still have some funding left to make it happen.

I don't plan on discounting hard drives in the near future.

1) Yes (could someone else confirm this as well just to be sure)
2) Yes
3) We should already be there if it is the new MSRP but the stores have a bit of time to update their prices.
i thought coupons offset the $$ requirement?
I really do not think so, but I would love some feedback from you all. To be honest I am not a SYWR expert but I've used coupons on games and still received bonus points.

Awesome. After the abomination that was DW6, I didn't want to get 7. But with DW:Gundam 3 or that Tecmo Warriors-esque Trojan War game (the 360 version) still not out, I need a Warriors fix. So hopefully the deal is sooner in the month rather than later, cuz I got the need to mash my controller's 'X' button a couple hundred thousand times.

but that's different from spend x$ and get bonus points. the game title triggers the bonus points in your case. But if you spend $150 and used $50 in coupons, you really spent $100 and do not trigger the $120 bonus. Just as you get regular base points on $100 and not $150. I thoughts that's what happens but I could be wrong.

The thing is, coupons are used only AFTER the items have been totaled. The question now is, is the SYWR rewarded once the items have been totaled, or after the amount you need to pay after coupons.

I guess that does make sense but for some reason I thought people who used coupons on the 120/60 program the weekend of the bonus points offer still received their points even when they used their coupons.

That said, if anyone is out there who may have experience with this please post it to confirm. It would take me some time to figure this out internally.
any news on which games received the price drop and when it will happen?
Working on formatting the sheet now for our friend Confoocious.
So with the purchase of LA Noire we get a $20 GC AND a free $20 game?
It's a go from a financial standpoint, now we are just working on the system.
OT but I just read LA Noire is on 3 discs for the xbox 360. If I was not such an achievement whore I would get this on the PS3 (only get exclusives for that). Day one buy (at Kmart of course) but does this change anyone's plans for system?

http://kotaku.com/#!5798996/rocksta...they-could-barely-fit-it-on-one-disc-or-three
Not me. Love my ps3, but I use the xbox considerably more! How many discs does not equate to anything other than "wow, must have a lot of content." I don't mind getting up once every 5 hours to change a disc, lol. (I don't play for long periods anyway) But others may. That being said maybe I am getting old, but I remember going to a friend's house and having games such as FFVII with four discs and both of us thinking wow, so much to explore! This is epic! How cool was it to get a game back then that had multiple discs!

That being said, it does show how MS may have been better off going with Blue Ray, different format, as this will probably deter some people from buying it on the xbox. Me, I am just excited to get this game!!! :bouncy:
It's a go from a financial standpoint, now we are just working on the system.
So if I bought a $30 game along with LA Noire, would it be $10? Or not? I think it would be wiser to do $20 off another game or something.

And GC = gaming coupon. Sorry. :p
Working on formatting the sheet now for our friend Confoocious.
josh is gonna send me the sheet, then i'm gonna run out and buy all of them up! then i'll post it here for you.

What were you planning to get by the way?

No. They're doing this to clear out older games. It would be amazing, but I'll gladly take the $20 game.

while josh is posting the drop list, I will say that Punch out and Fire Emblem are down to 19.97!

I just bought these games!

when are these prices in effect?

Alright, I see. SUCH an amazing deal! Enslaved it is. :)

Anyone known if a $20 PSN card works?

To quote the title of an awesome 80's flick, that is "RAD"!!

Josh, the february drops were different than the may drops. Do you have a full list that combines the two? Cause I noticed the may drops didn't include ps2 games and that was included in feb.

Wohoo :D Thanks much! Gonna be interesting to figure out how to get everything I want out of what I have, but you've just made it easier! :applause:
Thank you Confoocious!!!!!
I echo Josh's thanks, confoosious.

Looking at the price drops, all I can say is...holy CRAP, Josh. There's some definite gems in here, including Resonance of Fate, Metro 2033 (FINALLY at the $20 price point I've been waiting for), Radiant Dawn, Punch Out!, Singularity--all at $19.97--and I'm sure many other games that will satisfy everyone.

I'm totally set for L.A. Noire now: I'll get it, Radiant Dawn, and Metro 2033 and only have to pay slightly less than $20 after using the $60 in coupons. YE-AH! /Regular Show impression

Some definite gems in this drop list. Looks like LA Noire + Resonance of Fate for me. I can finally scratch that game off my buy list.

Here's hoping you do this one again in the future, as there's a few others I wouldn't mind picking up with a new release for free (or even a discount.)

Wait.. Singularity is $20? Are these new price drops? Can I get a list..

EDIT: NVM , saw the updated OP. Cool cool, but it all depends on what my KMART has so I won't do any research. I know my KMART has Enslaved & Yakuza 3, which I want both. Not sure which one though.

Looks like I deleted the PS2 section by mistake. They were reduced as well. Ill need to get back with everyone on the them. I think that was the only thing missing though.
Wait.. Singularity is $20? Are these new price drops? Can I get a list..
Check the sixth post on the first page--there's now a May Drops section under the Couple of quick notes section.

As I said, there's quite a few gems there, so look closely.

Whoa, so the Beatles Rockband Limited bundle is $50, which is $20 cheaper than a Band Hero bundle? When are these prices effective? For $50 Beatles are coming home with me, despite my wife killing me for more plastic instruments in the house.

It just took some time to build up the top line, but I'm starting to catch back up on the clearance budget.

This is a definite sign of health for the business.
Josh, will these price drops be effective next week, and as such, stores should be placing them in easier-to-access areas?
I've coded them as event sales so the pricing is automated starting Sunday. It may not be priced correctly by then but it should ring up with no issue.

That seems like a game I should pick up now, as I've seen it around and I don't think I can wait until L.A. Noire's release.
