Yes if I had seen all this before getting to the store I would have waited. But I did not so I too experienced the true terror of no coupon printing. However after some complaining they gave me a $20 gift card so I am going to call it even.

Thank you for repeating that. But what kind of sale price doesn't price check? Things that are one sale scan at the sale prices, I'm pretty sure. Just doesn't make much sense to me. Hopefully Josh or Stock Boy can clear that up. Thanks!
 
I was actually going to pick up all three coupon-endowed games (Brink, MX, PotC) today at lunch, but after all the failure reports I'm just going to wait until it gets sorted out, so that Josh doesn't have to assist with even more purchases.
 
Amazingly, coupons for both Brink and POTC printed this afternoon in Staten Island, NY. Didn't even know there was an issue until I just visted the thread.

I just got back from store 4308 in Birmingham, AL with a few of the games from the new price drops. Hot Shots Golf

were both stickered as $29.99 but I asked for a price check. They scanned at $19.99. I was also able to find a copy of MadWorld

for $4.99. I figured for that price, it cannot be too bad (and I've heard good things).

Disappointingly, there was no sign of Brink or Lego PotC. I talked with the sales associate and he said that he just started his shift but if the games were not out already, they were locked in a cage in the back that he could not access. Guess that means I will just wait until Pirates drops in a few months.
 
Didn't include the store# because was posting from my phone.

Store #3862 did not have Brink behind the register and the person I spoke with went to the back to check but came up empty. Informed me that they usually get shipped on release day so they should have it out tomorrow. Guess this is a sign I shouldn't get Brink because tried to pick it up at Gamestop but was a delayed opening because of a gas leak.

I normally do wait for a few days for the coupons, but today was my daughter's Bday and I promised it to her. Looking on the bright side- at least they had it out- but WOW are the cases getting stuffed and overflowing at my kmart in Paramus, NJ. And I really didn't notice any clearance section-like 3 Xbox and 2 Wii games.

I think the coupons not printing has to do with the registers not being rebooted at stores, or josh said somethin about IT coding the deal in the day before so there's a delay so its not workin yet (like... as of this afternoon?) and tell ur daughter random cag ppl on the internet said happy birthday, how old?

Yeah, I told the manager there that she needed to reboot the registers and she claimed she had never heard that before, but this was after the transaction went through. She was going to try it from now on. I'm so glad we are helping to train the Kmart managers.

Thanks for the well-wishes man, she's 6 today (time goes fast) and thank god for Lego games that she and I can play together- there's so few good co-op games out there like this. (Although Toy Story was a BLAST!)
 
Brink was in the display case but I didn't see any of the other new releases.

Coupon did not print for me. I asked the cashier to reboot the register but he just gave a me an annoyed look. Didn't want to argue so I just returned the game.

sigh... 2 weeks in a row. Wasted time and gas.
Lets not make it a third team SHC....I'm really looking forward to next weeks deal.
 
FireThief gave Brink a 10.

Anyway, the coupon didn't print for me either. Also, one of the stores I mentioned earlier that usually stock their titles on time didn't have any copies at all. :whistle2:#
 
Kmart #7680 had LPOC and the gaming coupon did print, however they never received Brink. Is it wrong if I was crossing my fingers for the Gaming Coupon not to print to get a "buff" gift card from Josh? :cool:

and after reading reviews and seeing gameplay, along wit just regular ppl (ppl on forums and stuff) it doesnt sound like brink is that bad - esp since its a matter of preference, like homefront didnt get amazing scores (tho not as bad as brink i suppose) i really enjoy it altho when u get into a game against stacked teams... man its hard to pull an upset lol

Ok, I don't suggest this as a constant activity, but I want a quick solution. I bought Brink and MX today and didn't get the coupons(didn;t see OP until after the purchase) these coupons was for LA Noire. Since I used my $60 coupons to buy these two games, can I go buy the games again tomorrow, and return for the coupons without losing money on the deal. Will the coupons still be valid? Again I would only want to do this IF this is the quickest solution.

Easiest solution is for the store to issue a gift card in this situation. Shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do.

The coupon didn't print because my warning that processing the coupon code the day before event would cause an issue went unheeded.

That said, I will be supplying everyone who sent me their receipt today $25 for Brink and $20 for Lego and MX

Sent two emails. Unless you personally call that store, that won't happen. If it isn't in the paper, they can't do anything about it is what I was told. And again I stress this, I am using those coupons on LA Noire so I need it before Tuesday. Also in my email I state that last time I had an issue with a coupon and was given a giftcard, it took 3 weeks. If it was in the ad, It would have been easier to get this problem fixed.

hey josh, can u tell us if kmart's gonna receive any infamous 2 hero editions and duke nukem balls of steel editions? (i know kmart doesnt get a whole lot of the ce versions but, would they be receiving any?)

I received them, thanks. The gift card can take ten days per my email back on Motorstorm. I'll see what I can do in this instance.

My emails is similar because I forgot to send the receipt attachment, but for me I will still shop, but I'm on the coupon train which is was helps me set my money aside just enough for what I need with coupons. I am getting LA Noire(and Patapon 3 if deal goes through) and the LA Noire coupon will go towards Hunted. Hunted for Alice(which I doubt theres a deal so it will end there) I just want a quick solution before Tuesday.

Man... I wish inFamous would drop to $20 for the LA Noire deal. The deal you said is good but I have not played inFamous yet, so why would I buy both games at the same time? I know this is sooooooooooo far away. But I read today if you reserve BF3, you can get a free map pack with reservation, how will Kmart (if they can) handle that since I am not aware of any pre-ordering at Kmart. It may be the one of the few times I buy a game elsewhere.

I think you already brought this up... it's specifically aimed for ppl in ur position, ppl who haven't played the first game yet. but u want to play this "inferior, older game first" because of its story... wats the point if u dont get teh story? and i'm sorry but... it shouldnt take u months to play the game... even if u have other games in the mix... an gaming session every weekend and u should be done wit it soon (unless ur a perfectionist...)

There's a chance I might not even like inFamous.. so it makes no sense why I would get them both at the same time. If I don't like it then I'll feel like I wasted $60. Again, it's fine. I don't even want Josh to respond, he has a lot of stress on himself already.
