Well I'm pretty sure it's the fact that it sounds like most K-Marts actually put the game out on shelves today and not on a Tuesday so to only get half of the coupon offer is a tad disappointing since it's yet another hiccup in the K-Mart buying process.

But yeah Josh definitely comes through when it comes to stuff like this. I just wish the missus would let him glance this thread once today so he can figure out a gameplan. Heh.

Not really flipping out on my end, but with these coupons being usable on Thanksgiving / Black Friday (they start being active Thanksgiving Day) this was the perfect opportunity to kill some of these excess coupons I was going to have.

I know Josh will get it fixed but I also know (judging from my last coupon mishap) it takes about a week to get it straightened out (due to how it's handled) so it'll be well past BF. Not to mention, this is the second time in a month I've had to deal with a chainwide K-Mart coupon mishap (the first being New Vegas PC.)

It's also, as Worrybomb pointed out, not on the blog website or mentioned anywhere except here so there was nothing I could even show the employee. Just a bit disappointing to get the game and now have something else get in the way.
 
Yeah, I'm not upset. I knew this was a possibility, just like I know Josh will come through somehow as he has in the past. Kmart has my gaming monies locked up as long as these coupons keep coming (Kirby->DCKR->Gran Turismo 5->Super Mario All-Stars?->->->)

The dates on the coupon are 11/25 - 1/1.

They start being active on Thanksgiving.
 
If I purchase DKCR today and get only one gaming coupon... is it possible to get the other coupon down the line when it is fixed (via receipt or whatnot)? I would love to play DKCR today :D
 
So I have been under the impression that AC:B was 35.99 on thanksgiving. not 40. so I am gonna try finding it used somewhere or wait...like everyone says "Its ubisoft"
 
SHC , Can you make the GT5 giftcard valid on thanksgiving and black friday ? or can I buy it thursday and the coupon be redeemable on black friday?
 
SHC-or stockboy... I tried PM stockboy a few times the last couple weeks about things but never got a return on the messages. So a few of my questions are irrel-as the deals are over. BUT, the NBA jam is on and either they copies never came in or my three local kmarts aren't putting them out. There is no way I am dealing w/ black friday stuff so i want to pick this up by Monday-could you let me know if Tacoma, WA kmarts have any copies-then I can at least tell them they do. thanks

I had 40 dollars in coupons, so I went to get the Sly Cooper Collection and I also found the Epic Mickey promo box to bump my order over 40 bucks. I got a 15 dollar coupon from the Epic Mickey box, and I also got the 15 dollar coupon from Sly Cooper which was supposed to end yesterday. So for a total of 5 bucks I got 30 dollars in coupons and Sly Cooper. I was initially going to get DKC, but they ran out of copies. No matter though.



I love Kmart.
 
SYWR site is still down. Has anyone else tried to use their points today? I was hoping to pickup DKCR, but I want to do so with the 50,000 points I have on my card.

Josh has a way of making sure you get the coupon value, I can personally attest to that. When my $20 New Vegas coupon didn't print, he handled it.

I don't really want to say what it is because I got a feeling people will start trying to scam him... after all, this is the same site where people threaten him via email when the deals don't work.

Sly Cooper was extended to the 24th of November so it should still print off the coupon until then.
 
Same deal for me. 1 coupon, SYWR down.
Elec lead told me it was going through updates, and should be running this afternoon.
I used all my points on sonic colors last week so no big deal.
Considering black friday is this week, i am not at all surprised.

I feel a little bad though... Asked for dk and i was told "its not out yet" and i said, "no, its another sunday release," and the elec lead said "no, its in the back. its not out in the case yet."
Ahhhh. Guess i jumped the gun. 830 is too early for everyone.

Tried to buy DKCR from Kmart but it wasn't on the shelf and I got tired of waiting for the paged employee. Ended up going to TRU and picking up the game, guide and shirt. Not interested in the shirt so I got a medium and donated it to Goodwill. I'm sure some kid will appreciate it.
 
Glad I didn't head out to Kmart to get only 1 coupon. Ah well...my wife is sick again today & I won't likely be able to leave home today anyways so I guess it works out. *shrugs*
 
Did some investigating and the deal is this, the update that we had discussed on some deals being for shop your way reward members only is in the works and the update was applied on this deal without me knowing. I'll update the OP on the promotions that require this right now. Sorry for the confusion.

If you purchased DKC today I'll help you with the missing $10.

Even if we aren't a SYWR member are we still going to be eligible for the extra $10 if it didn't print this morning?

So I take it we get a printed coupon of $10 and $10 added to our SYWR card, correct? If that's it, I guess I'll make the trip today after all.

You get the second $10 coupon if the SYWR membership is scanned at the beginning of the transaction. The extra $10 is in coupon form not SYWR.

Good to know. Guess I will test this out this afternoon/evening and report my experience. I like this idea though. Encourages people to get the card and rewards those that have it and use it regularly.

Would be great if I could purchase the game, called Tallahassee, FL store and they STILL don't have it out.

It's been added to the OP that you need to be a rewards member to get the coupon.

Read a few posts up - whoever is in charge of updating the systems added the stipulations without his knowledge. Its completely not his fault because from the sounds of it, he wasn't ready for the program to go live.
 
Nice was told games come out on Tuesday and not Sunday once again on a nintendo release at kmart this stuff is crazy but at least I know how to get the second ten dollar coupon when I go back

When will the Splatterhouse coupon take effect? I see mention here that the DKCR coupons take effect on Thursday 11/25. Just wanted to get clarification as I'd love to use the Splatterhouse coupon to get Goldeneye for $10 or Dragon Age Ultimate Edition for $5.

Yep for the DKC:R offer, scan your Shop Your Way Rewards card and it should be able to print out two $10 coupons instead of just one. Gonna test this theory out when I go within the hour.
 
ah shit. Josh can't catch a break. Even when things go right on his end some other department makes something break.

Hope I can buy DKCR/Jam today.

Yeah Shan it was canceled since Namco dropped the price of the game to $40.

Yes Yes Yes, got NBA Jam yesterday, 2xPS3 and 1xXbox360, all with $20 coupons. For all you asking where I got it in New Jersey, it was in the Demarest/Tenafly area. All you had to do was ask the electronics guy to check the back for video games boxes marked next week, and to look for NNBA Jam. Have him scan it, and he would have realized that it should have been out already. I think they extended the coupon deal to this week because of the fiasco, so good luck...

Splatterhouse promo runs all week so it doesn't activate until next Sunday.

I ran into this same issue today. I e-mailed Josh about it and I'm sure he'll help me out.

I was excited to get DKC:R and they finally had a copy of NBA Jam for the 360, but all I got was one $10 coupon overall.

Last night when I checked there was no mention of the Shop Your Way Rewards stuff. Should have known not to go on release date but I wouldn't have a chance the rest of the week.
