I thought I'd add a few things to this thread before it gets the lock and closes.
Collateral - 1/5 Why is Michael Mann still making movies?
I must say that I rather enjoyed this movie. I don't know what it was, but I really liked it. Not much in the character development department though. Very well presented and directed IMO though.

Suggestions?
I'd definitely recommend watching 2001: A Space Odyssey if you haven't done so. Very well done film. The Wizard of Oz is just a must. i'm amazed you haven't seen that yet. I've owned that since the DVD came out and have seen it probably 15 times (loved it when I was younger so I think that has something to do with it). Jin-Roh was a great watch and so are the LotR series. I have yet to see Machinist (planning on renting it soon) so I'll have to get back to you on that one. Anything Monty Python is classic so definitely check out Meaning of Life. I'd pass on Spriggan as I really didn't think that one was anything special I guess you could pop that on in if you get bored, or just don't have anything really. Stripes and team America are both awesome movies. those are my recommendations at of that list of you own and have yet to see. Not necessarily in that order, but pretty close and I've given you what I thought of them.
A large majority of those are

ing terrible. Why did you buy them? I can't even recommend any of them other than LOTR, if you haven't seen them.
I'm sad to say this, but you must have a terrible taste in movies.
