Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, some significant hanges from book but a few of them were necessary to amek the movie function, I wish they had changed a few less things and made the improbability drive stuff as weird as the book.

Star Wars

Episode IV
A NEW HOPE

It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire.

During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.

Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save her people and restore
freedom to the galaxy . . . .

:D

Just finished "The Last Samurai." Wish I had gotten around to this one earlier. The best part was the kabuki scene. Oh noes, Ninjas!

Star Wars

Episode V

Oh, and a fun little trivia fact: as I was watching the credits, I happened to notice that there was an assistant cameraman named David Fincher. I looked it up on IMDB, and it is, in fact, THE David Fincher, director of Alien 3, Seven, and a little movie called Fight Club. Crazy, huh?
Stupid boring Star Wars crap. blah blah blah
Dork. ;)

I saw The Searchers today. Ford knew how to make a great western, that's for sure.
That's Star Wars dork/fanboy/geek/nerd to you. :D
Oh yes, I apologize. Dork is slang for a penis, wouldn't want to imply anything there.

Grand Illusion

For those who've seen it (Zman?), didn't Erich Von Stroheim's character look like Vader at the end of Jedi, when he was in his neck brace?
David Fincher, director of Alien 3
May he be sodomized with the script for Resurrection, and AvP, for that mistake

My last movie, the Alamo, wasnt impressed

Cinderella Man.
It was quite good. Standard sentimental Ron Howard fare, but the man knows how to make a solid, good movie. Great movies? No, but he does make good movies.

Star Wars

Episode 1
The Phantom Menace

Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute. Hoping to resolve the matter with a blockade of deadly battleships, the greedy Trade Federation has stopped all shipping to the small planet of Naboo. While the Congress of the Republic endlessly debates this alarming chain of events, the Supreme Chancellor has secretly dispatched two Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, to settle the conflict...

I saw Kingdom of Heaven last night. It was pretty good. Not one that I would see twice or buy on DVD, but not a bad flick. I've been to worse in the theater before.....can anyone say Robots? At least we got to see both Star Wars trailers on the big screen.

Star Wars

Episode II
Attack of the Clones

There is unrest in the Galactic Senate. Several thousand solar systems have declared their intentions to leave the Republic. This separatist movement, under the leadership of the mysterious Count Dooku, has made it difficult for the limited number of Jedi Knights to maintain peace and order in the galaxy. Senator Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, is returning to the Galactic Senate to vote on the critical issue of creating an ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC to assist the overwhelmed Jedi...
