League of Legends anyone?

I'm glad I didn't even try to play tonight. They say they put the patch up on Tuesday because it's the day with the lowest activity. Well, there's such low activity BECAUSE of the patch. Catch 22.
 
I bought Vayne. She's basically a ranged Yi, honestly. Fragile like him but damn does she do damage fast. Played some PvAI games to get a feel for her but wow was multiplayer messed last night.

Why did this game suddenly get so big in Asia anyway?

Because Riot sold the game to some group of Asians for something like 400 million dollars. This is why you're seeing the game slowly shift art styles as well.

That's a good thing though since so many early splash arts look like shit and a lot of early champions are incredibly simple looking. If you have a good resolution, just compare Jarvan to Ashe.
 
I rather like the standard look of Ashe, when compared to the new look of Tryn.

And I still think that Soraka's two alt arts for her other skins are the best to have graced LoL so far.

I did 2 solo queues tonight, and won them both! Both times my teammates where pretty decent. The only time one annoyed me was in the first game. I'm defending mid, because it's really low health. I've got tele up in case they push top because theres noone defending it now. Bottom has like 3 v 3 going on, but the tower is at like 80% health. Then our Yi goes "YOU DICKHEADS (or some other insult, dont really remember) IN MID NEED TO GO HELP F-ING BOT!"
I'm like ok, whatever. So I go help bot. While we're on bot (now 4v4) the other team's Malz takes our mid, and minions take top. Meanwhile the Yi is busy in the jungle :mad:
But oh well, we won anyhow.
 
Ugh, I played with one of the worst Ashe's last night. It was a co-op vs ai. So anyway when the match started the Ashe complained that my gf (Kog-Maw), and my friend (Nocturne) was at the bottom lane because they were both squishy. So whatever, the match starts and I am laning with him as rumble (first game as rumble, wanted to try him).

Every time I pushed he would not be there. When he did decide to push he would never use any of his fucking abilities (I am 100% serious). He would use his basic attack, so badly he could not kill the opponent's Ashe half a lane between her and the turrent with under 30% health. So then we are pushing mid and we are about to get the last mid turrent before the inhibitor. So it's me and him, and about 4-5 of our minions reach our turrent and he leaves to go somewhere else (doesn't even help to take down the turrent), and of course I die and don't take down the turrent.

I mean I don't mind if your new or bad with your character, but dear god at least learn to have common sense.
 
I hope you won at least.

I hate when you get idiots in co-op vs AI. I had to build a fucking Phantom Dancer and get a green elixir as Singed to win one game my team was so incompetent.

Oh we won no problem, my GF went like 11-1-12 and my other friend went 15-1-10. Plus our Maokai middle was great. Although I like rumble, he seems too team dependent for me to really play.

I am probably gonna buy Annie next, I want to expand my bitch collection on this account :lol:.
 
I had a fun Ashe yesterday too. But it was to be expected. I made a new account called "CAG Rabbit" since a lot of folks on other websites like TSM or CLG do that for alt accounts and play together. Figured we could do that sometime :D

Anyways, I was lvl 9 when she was lvl 2. Continuously ran after enemy champions, even if she only had 1/2 a bar of health. The girl never used her slowing shot which would have helped like mad! The only skill I saw her use was Volly, and she used that on Bushes with nobody in them and then ran like hell for some reason.

She didn't know how to go back to heal either. She just stood in front of turrets when she was low, and used her "Heal" summoner spell when it was up. Tryn, Jax and Garen all would dive her for free kills x_x; but we won strangely. I was Malz, and we had a mort. All three of them jumped us at once, I put null zone down under me, and ult'd tryn and so Mord did mort. We got his ghost and that thing freaking whacked his teammates to death so fast it was absurd.

From there, we took all their bottom turrets. They respawned, and ran down, so I went up and took the last top turret. Tryn came after me and ult'd him again for a kill. Took them down 2 v 2 with no problem.

I'm in love with Malz's ult.
 
I think we should get a CAG 5v5 or 3v3 together. It'd be fun to have a game were neither side has a leaver/afk/griefer/ect

Last night I was playing with a dumbass garren. Seriously I was sona, and he would push top even if I was not there to help (as of coming back from death or from buying stuff). He also ran right through an enemy turrent just to kill an enemy and failed. :roll:.

Not to mention we had a Lux at the beginning cry because he did not want to lane with me (the game was co-op vs ai so it wouldn't really matter who he laned with). So finally he went middle to shut up.

Played custom and vs. ai game with Waug and ice. I'm amazed at how dangerous Waug makes lux. Never seen anyone play her quite that well.
 
Last night I had 3 games

First was stupid easy victory and the other team sucked

The next game 2 people on my team left at the 8 min mark so it was 3v5

The game after 1 person our mid left at around the 10 min mark, 4v5.

Oh well.


And anyone can make a champ look good in co-op vs ai :p

Played a 3 v 3 before breakfast this morning. Had a Vayne instead lock and bitch at me and the other guy have for having Heimer and Mordekasier selected. We switch because he or she won't stop complaining. Now I'm using Maokai and the other guy is using Sivir. Match starts and the enemy team is Morde, Heimer and Vayne.

Could not stop laughing.

We were losing the lanning phase pretty badly despite the kill count being 2-3. Then their Heimer DC's, and we split push like a boss. Taking out three towers before the guy respawned (which was quickly xD). Heimer was equal leveled, but always overextended. Each time we tried to go for a gank, he though he could flash away from us, but Mao's snare just made him waste it everytime ^^

I had no idea what I was doing with my build though. I built FoN and FH for the hell of it.
 
Been playing on lowbie accounts (my friend and I have been using the referral program). I forgot how much of a blast it was to play against idiots at level one. You can still win because two people who are good can easily carry the team. It's much more fun than playing with idiots at level 30 and getting wrecked because of it.

Caitlin absolutely owns at low levels.
 
Had 2 exciting games tonight.

First game we had a Rammus which meant I didn't have to tank :)

I chose Xin since I'm better with him than Jarvan. Me and Waughoo (Rumble) were top against a solo Jax who we were denying hard. We had an awful Caitlyn mid who kept feeding their Warwick and Swain. Bottom was our Kat (not Waughoo) and Rammus against Malphite and Karma. Looked like we were going to lose early on but their Swain dc'd. Their Warwick was impossible to kill and I kept getting focused. At team fights, either they'd kill all of us and we'd kill everyone but Warwick or one person ran away from Warwick. No matter what we couldn't kill him. They got Baron twice early but we just waited it out since we had a turret advantage.

Finally we got Baron, killed them and only lost Rammus and got their inhibs. We waited it out more and started Baron. Warwick came to fight us and steal it but the 3 of us there fought him and killed him. He immediately dc'd after that but reconnected later. But we finally won after an hour.


Our other game it was me, Waughoo, ck, and his friends. We started out bad but they weren't able to push lanes well. We went from like 0-8 to 11-9. We got Baron when we were around level 12-13 and did a big push up mid. It was pretty much GG after that.

Very exhausting games but fun.
 
We had a TERRIBLE Nid last night. She calls mid at champ select, which we're fine with. Then she DC's before it even starts. So our Siv took mid instead. Then Nid comes back, and right away it like "Siv I got mid"... "SIV I HAVE MID!". Bare in mind she's lvl 1 against a lvl 5 Ashe. But they let her have it. She spends the rest of the game as Mr. In-Charge. She's telling everyone what to do constantly, and complaining when they dont immediately follow her orders. For example, she died. I go to cover mid while she's dead. She's on her way back, so I'm going to go bot after I finish the minion wave I'm on. She's not even to mid yet and like "Rumble bot". I finish the wave (which took the amount of time for her to go from the 2nd to outer turret) and she's like "RUMBLE BOT!" and pinging like mad. I say "stfu Nid". She then starts telling everyone how bad they are. For instance she's complaining about our tank (Alistar) alot, and finally he is like "yeah I'm a terrible tank, yet my score is better than yours" which got her off his back awhile. She really hated our Trynd. He died like twice early and she wouldnt shut up about him feeding. He came back really well though, so she had to eat her words.

We somehow won, but with Nid I would have been fine with a surrender just so we didnt have to deal with her.

Good news is I've won 4 straight normal game with Rumble :)

BTW, whats the ignore command? /ignore "PLAYERNAME" ? Do you need quotation marks?
 
That's correct. And you don't need quotation marks.

I tried out Rumble and I'm not really a fan. I can't seem to work his ult correctly. Whenever I place it down, it seems to auto set the row for me and fire before I give the okay. >_>

Malz is fun to play though, but I think I'd rather play Anivia over him. I'm in love with Mordekasier and Maokai (again) though. I think I'm gonna pick them both up once they leave the rotation. I play them surprisingly the same, minus FH/Dorian Rings.

Also, fun note, everytime I die in a game I now do 10 situps. I'm never gonna play a tank, but damn it all, I'm warding and last hitting every game from now on.

Once you press R and click, you can't let go. You have to hold onto the mouse button and you'll see the arrow for where your ult will be.

Also, fun note, everytime I die in a game I now do 10 situps. I'm never gonna play a tank, but damn it all, I'm warding and last hitting every game from now on.

You should be doing that with any champion. In the game against that beast Warwick, I'd buy 2 wards every time I was at base even though I wasn't the tank.
 
I tend not to if the enemy doesn't have a jungler.

On that note, I just got owned by a morde, malz, and irella. Could not kill any of them.

Malz could freaking ult me at 70% hp with no null and kill me. Morde only took a few seconds to take me down as well. Irella was managable solo, but never went down in a team .

70situps for me :(

The problem was whenever he went in, he would die. He would use no abilities whatsoever and the only time he would get any type of kills would be using his basic attack and steal it from us :lol:.

We won the game, but god. It was horrible :lol:

I had a Teemo on my team once that we think was a bot. He spent the ENTIRE game wandering around the jungle. Not jungling, just wandering through it. If he happened to walk out into a lane, he'd auto attack minions, but thats it. After awhile the enemy team started wandering the jungle looking for him, cause he's a free kill. He wouldnt respond to the team in any way, so we reported him.
