League of Legends anyone?

I played a Co-Op/AI game as Shen last night, I usually hate playing him since he's so team dependant. I rushed a Sunfire since he's so shitty at farming. I finished with 19 kills and I swear over half of them were from Sunfire.
 
You're damned right I did.

You all may look down on me for playing against bots most the time. But when the robots turn on us, who is going to be more prepared? The people who play against humans or the people who played against bots? :cool:
 
I honestly haven't been playing much recently. I think I burned myself out from a few days of constant playing. >.>

That and a glitched Dead Space 2 hard core run has had me preoccupied for a few days too. >.>
 
Twitch is free for the first time since Season 1 started. So if you want to play him, now is your chance. Though he's been nerfed to hell and isn't viable anymore.

I want to counter-jungle with Twich, but it would suck if the enemy has no jungler. Stupid blind picks!!

Im still waiting for Cass to be free. Riot keeps fucking her over by making her not free, but all the champs that came before or after her free
 
This is fucking ridiculous. A Target down here that defected the items and had TWO restocked today. And they were BOTH STOLEN before I even got there.

8am they were there. When I arrived at 4pm, they were gone.

And to make things worse, I went to two different Best Buys and called a third today. All of their copies were opened. And they wouldn't even remove them from the shelves.

I'm never gonna get that Silver Kayle.

I just played a Normal game (yes, I still play against people). It was me (Galactic Nasus), Veigar, Fiddle, Sion, and Nocturne (who instalocked as jungler and had a 999+ ping during summoning).

Their team was Shen, Cait, Nocturne, Soraka, and jungle Nunu.

It was me and Shen 1v1 top. I pushed him hard to turret. Then he left and Soraka came a few min later. But me and Noct killed her and I got the turret. Then I went bot and Shen was covering it. He ult'd and left the tower unguarded. I pretty much had free lanes to farm, had 120 minion kills and +108 on my Q 20 min in (which is a lot) and they surrendered after a team fight.

In chat they whine how we had so much CC (Slow, 2 Stuns, and 2 Fears). They just sucked though, especially Nunu who had plenty of chances to gank me since I overextended a lot when I was top.

I dont think you need Warmogs on Blitz. You would have a lot of hp, but little to no resists. Maybe get some resists instead. Frozen heart would work WONDERS on blitz. +500 mana (for his shield as well) and great armor, but only good if they are AD. Banshee's could never hurt either

I usually go for Tear of the Goddess>Boots of Swiftness>Sheen>Manamune>Then either Frozen Heart or Banshee's Veil depending on the situation. Or some variation of that depending on gold/etc.

And I WOULD like to point out, there's no way you would have been doing as well late game if it weren't for me feeding you the entire first half of the game. It isn't just coincidence that I have 19 assists and you have 19 kills. =P

Blitzcrank

Get Sheen + tank items -> Triforce -> more tank items

My preference is MCrystal + 2 pots start -> Sheen + Boots1 -> HoG -> Mercs -> HoG -> Triforce -> Negatron -> BV -> Randuins -> Brutalizer -> Atmas

Do not get Manamune or any Tear-related item. Never build around his passive., only see it as an added bonus/

You are a ganker and tanky dps with lots of CC. Don't play him unless you're good with skillshots. Hook is everything to him. Peel for teammates when the enemy team gets on your squishies. Make sure your ranged carry is always behind you, so that anyone who tries to get to them will have to go through PF + hook when they finally reach their destination, while taking massive damage from being surrounded. Hooking tanks and initiators such as Rammus away from the fight is a good idea, as it effectively makes the fight a 4v5 for a short time. Generally, you'll be using your hook for catching farming/pushing/vulnerable enemies who are mispositioned. They'll be instantly blown up by your team, and you should take advantage of this buy pushing, forcing dragon or baron, jungle invasion, etc.



He uses armor pen reds, mana regen per level yellows, flat cdr blues, flat health quints. 0-9-21 masteries. Ghost/flash summoners. I personally like clairvoyance/flash on him because at my elo (~1300) no one ever takes it. However, if you have another person on the team that is going to take cv, let them take it and stick with ghost/flash.

I'd recommend getting a Glacial Shroud or Catalyst the Protector before finishing your Manamune. I think the additional mana and either Armor/CDR or HP/level up passive is more useful early game.
 
Now I remember why I play against bots.

First Normal game today I'm matched with a group of 4 friends. We lose 2 towers but it's an even K/D. But they surrender at 20 min for no reason.

Next game our Karma dc'd for 20 min. Our Jarvan was one of those players who would clear a jungle camp while 4 were attacking our turret nearby. Our Karma reconnected and was 13 levels behind. So the other team's Trynd was really cool and went right after her into our base and turret dove then said he was pro.
 
If there is a standstill in mid with team vs team, im not wasting my time in mid. I will push a lane and force them to send 1 to 2 people. I hate stand stills.
 
Is it wrong to want to play Nasus just cause of that Galactic Skin?

I really should pick up a tank too. So far the only champs I'm semi-decent with are Sivir and Anivia. And Sivir's nerf makes me never want to play her :(.

Well, 1 game we lost cause it was 4v5, but if it was 5v5 we would had won

We did pick up 1 awesome random player in the last 2 games though. A blitz and a TF

I wish I had LoL Replays. I did 2 awesome jukes with Flash and my stun.


I'm never solo queuing again. Our Poppy was a first time and had no idea what he was doing. Our Nocturne was useless. And all Yi did was build Phantom Dancers and clear jungle camps. Never tried to backdoor. It was me and Janna, the tank and support, who were doing anything.

Hm.. that's a lot of Urfskins. I was saving up IP for runes when I hit lvl 20, but it looks like I'm gonna have to bite on four different champs to pick up the skins. Lee looks like a possible release now too with the new vid.

(You were a great Amumu. Saved my hide constantly.)
 
I think I may have done a bad thing. I got my girlfriend and her one friend into league of legends. I made a new account so everyone would be even.

Lets just say I played co-op vs AI for 4 hrs straight last night and got a lvl 1 account to a lvl 5 account :lol:. They are still learning how to play and understand the game.

I just bought master yi as my first champion for this account. Never played yi before so I am really excited to get to learn him. I have to see what is the best way to build him though because I was terrible with him last night.
 
you can go the consitant build for yi and get lots of lifesteal
or glass cannon and lots of crit



Ice, i barely saw you in the 2 games, its really funny :p You had bottom and i was always running between top and mid :( I think I saw you a few times though :D But whatever you did over there, worked out well :D


BUT anyway, was fun playing with everyone again! The mighty team of Icedrake, Waughoo, and I were whooping some butt along with some new-comers to our team :D

Too bad Summer wasnt there though, he sucks!

Yi is such an annoying champ. Early game, he's pretty shitty. But if he farms and gets Ghostblade and Phantom Dancer and some other AD items, he can BD and is unstoppable with his ult.


New patch means I get to spend 30 min uninstalling/reinstalling since the patch never installs otherwise. I hate all their April Fool's shit, too. All it does is make the servers so damn slow.
 
I hate Riot so God damn much. They turn off servers for a "patch" that includes one champion maybe one skill that was posted on their fake patch notes. They don't release any actually patch notes so as far as any one can tell servers were down all night just for the blind monk. Forums are fucked like always and even pvp.net is slow as shit because its stupidly built.

But they somehow con people into loving them not just in spite of all this, but FOR all of it.
 
I'm with you. I was able to get it patched through editing some files in Notepad. Lee Sin was in the shop but none of the Urf skins were. I tried to start a custom game twice and got a Client/Server mismatch both times.

I had even uninstalled/reinstalled and that didn't fix it. I was going to buy the Nunurf skin, but there's no way I will now since a) I can't even see it in the store and b) I shouldn't have to spend all fucking day to get a game working.

As I said in my previous post, I fucking hate this April Fool's shit.

fuck this. I'm going to play Assassin's Creed Brotherhood today.
 
I finally got on. However, seems the skins in the patch notes are a joke.

I'm tempted to buy Lee Sin just in case Riot takes him down as a joke.
 
Amumu is definitely my main tank now. So fun in team fights. You'll especially like it Waughoo when we ult at the same time. Too bad I can't play as Amumu and Nunu at the same time.
 
I've been playing Nocturne today. My first time ever using a Jungle/Assassin/Melee character. Frankly, I'm not a fan. I run out of Mana so fast I find myself building a Manamune which is gives basically no attacking power. And overall, I seem to be weak too.

Anybody know of a decent build for him? I'd like to start getting decent with Melee folks so I don't go Anivia when my team already locked 4 AP Casters.
 
Nocturne you have to use your skills in bursts. Granted I played 3 games with him but I got a Doran's Shield to start. Build Merc Treads and Brutalizer. For the mana issue, getting a Mana crystal and building it into Catalyst helped (Glacial Shroud would work, too). After that, I think a second Brutalizer might be good (don't build it into Ghostblade though) or a Bloodthirster (probably better option).

For a Melee champ, I recommend Xin Zhao.


Me and Flippr's last game sucked so much. It was Amumu (me), Kennen (Flippr), Miss Fortune, Lee Sin, and Twitch. I went bot with Twitch against Twisted Fate and Zilean. Couldn't last hit b/c of Zilean, when I did, Twitch called me aggressive. Our MF and Lee Sin sucked and did no damage, Twitch was so useless since he never fought.
 
Another fun day of LOL. Got some epic singed games in and started to use Malz.

I think I lost 1 game tonight in all that fun :D

Singed = auto-win for a team

I am enjoying Malz's pushing/farming and his awesome ranged suppression ult. It is totally badass.
 
Anyone got some build tips for Master Yi in the item department. I just bought him to hold me over till I can get morgana on my 2nd account but I don't exactly have an item plan. I know I want some life steal but I don't know exactly an order/item plans I should build him.

Also did they buff Annie recently, or is it just me? I noticed she has become fucking hell to kill recently.
 
I think Ghostblade is a core item for Yi. I've never played him in a real game, but I guess you'd go Ghostblade, Stark's (Emblem of Valour first), Phantom Dancer, and Bloodthirster/Infinity Edge.

AP Yi is pretty beast with Alpha Strike and can heal his damage with Meditate.
 
Annie has been the same

Ice's build for Yi sounds good. I used Yi maybe 3 times, not my cup of tea.

Malzahar is so fun, everyone should pick him up

Found a good guide for jungle Nunu I really want to try. I tried it in a practice just to see how the path is and it's really good. I'm about 4/5th health even after getting both buffs. You can even start with boots if a teammate helps at blue.

I'm also tempted to get Renekton even though I've said he sucks. He seems capable of being solo top. I like those champs since I can't trust anyone else if there's a jungler on our team.

You could also break out your old buddy Morde.

Not only is he a good solo laner, but he winds up being very strong overall when he gets the extra exp and gold from a solo lane.

Morde's kinda boring since all he does well is push lanes. He is good against stupid enemies. I like Nasus a lot more than Morde since he has more utility in a team fight.

If you want to see a deadly combo, just put a Jarvin and Morgana together. Me and my one buddy were doing that and we were kicking major ass.
 
Pubbers in this game are unbearable. Played a game earlier as Teemo with Morde, MF, Swain, and Udyr on my team. Udyr was jungling, so naturally we'd have two solo lanes. Morde is a beast solo top and swain is an awesome mid. Swain refused to take mid, and just outright refused to solo period, so he went top with Morde. MF took mid and I took bottom.

Other team sent three bottom, one mid, and one top. Rather than move down, Swain stayed top leaving me to go 1v3 which obviously is not a great idea. I die about five minutes in because I cannot hold off Shaco, Yi, and Renekton and they take the tower shortly after. My team CONTINUES to stay in their lanes. I go back to bottom to try and keep them off the second tower in hopes that someone will come and help, but they don't. I die again and the second tower goes down.

At this point the team starts complaining that I'm feeding and I'm the one costing us the game. I really, really don't understand most of the people who play this game. You're level 30, have hundreds of wins, yet you still cant grasp the basic concept of the game? To make matters worse, after 20 minutes of being brutally ass raped I try to surrender and the vote fails 2/3, so this shitfest continued on for another 18 minutes. Nothing like wasting your own time.
