League of Legends anyone?
Ok flippr I made a cleric named duskwraith on your server last night
Lol 10 I went justicar purified inquisitor
I have a great idea for this setup
Might drop inquisitor if I feel shaman would be stronger pairing
But we will see
haha, i was about to make a cleric too!!! i never see healers in warfronts and it makes me mad :p

Has anyone else tried LoL Replays? I tried it out and it works pretty good. I had NO slowdown in-game while it was recording! It doesnt show the enemies thru fog of war though, which I fine for now. You can move the camera around and see whats going on in any part of the map, and it has fast forward and slow down. You can even zoom in while watching.

yup, been using it for 2+ weeks :p

it recorded my longest game ever, like 1 hr 20 minutes. pretty epic mid-end game, wanna see some it waughoo? i can email you the 9 meg file :p The ending though......u gotta see it.

I was Ryze (whom i am not the best at) and even maxxed out one tear of the godess.

You should still make a cleric

With my build at lvl 12 I took on 3 lvl 12s and then two more lvl 12 mobs during that fight and ended with full health

I feel op

I tried Jarvan out and really like him. Maybe I'll finally spend some of my 14k IP.

I went with a fusion build between Pantheon and Olaf: Merc Treads, Manamune, Last Whisper, Banshee's, and Atma's. I was building Randuin's but I think Sunfire Cape would make more sense since he already gets a ton of Armor through his E.

Last night I 1v1 Jarvin as Trundle. Everyone was dead except the 2 of us and we went at it for at LEAST 20-30 seconds. I was slowly wearing him down while I wasnt being hurt at all really. He couldnt escape me and I was just wailing on him. Eventually someone on my team rezzed and walked all the way down mid lane to the halfway point and helped me finish him. But it was hilarious. I have the replay saved :)

Nope. Haven't had that problem lately (or ever).

Also, I just bought the Grungy Nunu skin :D

Not only do I now have the best skin for my best champ, I no longer have enough RP to buy accidentally buy a legendary skin.

Had some fun today playing as Kat. I was trying to go with Jax >_> but they switched him out and I wasn't able to pick up a Pax-Jax card. Kat is surprisingly easy to learn. If I can stack Souls, I can be reckless as hell and still take out anything that isn't a tank.

Kat's lots of fun till you're up against a team that knows to cc her.

Lost one last night as Kat. I went top with Ryze vs a Nid and a Shen. Ryze stayed way back the whole time cause he was taking damage really hard. Nid stayed out of range or in the bushes chucking spears the whole time. I kept harassing Shen but it was slow going cause he'd shield before my attacks and Nid would heal him. When I finally would get him ready to kill, Ryze would KS me. Meanwhile our bot fed the hell out of the other team's Kat. Wouldnt have been a problem cause we had lots of ways to stop her ULT, just noone would save them for her. Also they're team was running around like crazy. You'd be fighting 4 mid and then as soon as they back off they'd be split up top/bot, then as soon as you get to one side they're suddenly ALL there ganking.

PATCH DAY! All you boys and girls know what that means! Patcher errors, slow speeds, store offline, and 3-10 tries before a game actually starts cause everyone whats to play the new champ! YAAAAY!!

Seriously though, it wouldnt patch for me. It was giving the "Patcher has encountered an error" every time. Had to go into C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\LOL.Game.Version and manually edit some code for it to work.

Ok so I tried to actually PLAY a game after all my patcher bs. I go in, game starts to load... ERROR
Client version is not equal to Server version

Had to search the forums abit but found a patcher. Did that, re-downloaded some stuff (thank god it was going like 1.5 mb/sec) and tried again. Got back into my game, but another person had left and now I'm lvl 1 vs lvl 6-9s. The rest of the team had already given up. We wouldnt have won anyhow, but at least I got in so I didnt get a leave thanks to crappy ass updates!

This Nocturne champ is good. I didn't expect four seconds of darkness to be enough. Heck even in a teamfight, he can hit the thing and I was out of range to even attack the enemies or see my allies. Grass is a pain too. If you're in ranged of an ally in the grass, and it's hit, you won't see your ally hidden.

Also, have you guys seen this?

Pretty accurate of Cho and a lot of other tanky DPS champs. After all, if Lux doesn't take off half your health with her ult, then you're overpowered and need to be nerfed.

I did see that Galio actually got a buff with the cost of one of his spells being reduced. Gragas got nerfed again. I've rarely seen any Gragas since they got rid of Locket.

Since I couldnt play LoL cause of all the crap happening, I played Red Dead instead. I knifed grizzly bear to death! Yaaay me!

Seems like Riot thinks the non taunting tanks are too powerful. Slowly moving to more of a one shot game to appease the kiddies?

Riot has said they want more risks and kills early on. Bumping up Doran's cost, removing Doran + health pot, making feeding early more of a problem. Seems like they are slowly buffing the early game champs by all the other changes they are doing (non taunting tanks have too much health and armor). I tend to find the most annoying and sometimes worst players play the early game champs so.... hooray for them.

The could sound okay in ARAM, but with 3 lanes, 10 minutes in it's GG, because top or mid or bot fed.

sorry about that. i was and still am on a massive losing streak and being given the 1v2 lane against 2 early game powerhouses and being down a player and having died 3 times already within like 5 mins i was about ready to throw my keyboard across the room punch my monitor AND kill my cat. had to leave before i did something stupid. its also the reason i didn't use vent or skype. i was already fucking pissed before the game even started and had nothing nice to say.
Lux got nerfed :( She was my main and i was so good with her!
I used Lux last night. Didnt seem any different really.

I survived a few times because of the stronger shield :)

In other news: I got my Pax Jax skin

thats how i have been feeling almost every day ive been playing this week. I get paired up with idiots so I yell at them the whole game until they listen or ignore me.

Last night I finally bought my first champion (over 1350IP anyways). I got Anivia -- since she was actually kinda buffed last night.

I'm not that great with her, but damn it all, she's really fun. I can't seem to hit people with my E skill though. Once I hit them with any of the slows, they immediately start fleeing and if I use my wall that early, I can't secure a kill.

I'm going Dorian's Ring -> Tear of Goddess -> Magic Pen. Boots -> Archangel's Staff -> Rod of Ages -> Deathcap -> Whatever

Congrats!

Play Co-Op vs AI. It's relaxing and you can play any champion you want instead of only using your best or what the team needs.

im never going to play co-op vs ai.

to me, its like a practice game vs bots and i hate those. i would rather waste my time in a stupid real game than play against a computer.

agree this 100%. no enjoyment from stomping bots.

I mean, it's probably great practice. You can see what's worth doing at what moments and such..

Considering being good at LoL is 99.9% decision making.

I'm really enjoying the Co-op mode. Beginner mode is simple though, you don't need any team coordination and you'll still win that. Ended up winning a 3v5 without hassle. But intermediate.. I've lost 3 out of the 6 games that I've played and they've all shot past 40minutes to boot.

:| Doesn't help that I'm lvl 13 and I get paired with lvl 4s though. Last round I got lucky. Ended up with a team ranging from 10 to 28. Bots had supercreeps coming from top and mid, and we hadn't taken a single 3rd tower, we were able to turn it around from lvl 15+. I wasn't stellar though.

Give an intermediate match a shot when you have the time.

Earlier this week Kodos showed me how to play HoN. I hate that game so much. The map is huge, I can't tell who is an enemy and who is an ally, the minions are so small I often missed them double clicking, I couldn't see the cursor when I used a single-target spell and there was nothing to indicate the cast radius.

Well I had an interesting match. We ended up winning by a decent margin. 1 v 1, none of us could hold our own. But in a teamfight, it was a slaughter everytime. We gave the standard "GG" at the end, with no additional comments or sarcasm that others might throw in, and they just start insulting us. Saying how we were all crap players, and that we won because of a two minute DC when we were able to take no towers or gain any kills -- despite them still outleveling us.

Hey, i played Ashe and as it turns out, im badass with her!

So there we go, i got a ranged AD person just like that!

as long as the enemy cant reach me, im good :D

I believe Maokai was temporarily disabled because he'd cause everyone to disconnect if he had a Guardian Angel and was killed when his ult was up.

I'm thinking of spending IP and getting Taric. I'll see if he's free this week since he often is.

Yeah, I was reading about that on their forums. A few people said it handed a large amount of IP, and there'd be no record of the game taking place (no win, lose or leave). Some ranked people were ticked off.

Quick question for you folks, at what point do you surrender? I've gotten paired up with two pretty nasty know-it-all folks who did nothing the entire match, but insult me, feed the other team, and spam the surrender option.

Can you report a person for just staying at spawn for 5minutes+ just whining?

If their team is fed, they're winning in turrets, we can't win a teamfight, bunch of things factor into a surrender. I try not to surrender as much anymore. Worked well 1 game when I was Pantheon. Once someone bought Oracles, I shutdown their fed Akali.

I usually only surrender when we've lost most turrets and we're not having fun. If they're destroying us but I'm having fun during it then I dont surrender. Unless everyone one else wants to that is.

I usually surrender when I play with this guy FlipprDolphin. He's so annoying because he has about 50 champions and isn't good with a single one of them.

Hey hey, i might have MORE than 50!!!!

Im planning on getting Renekton soon!

Then I will be even worse :D

I would buy Garen, but I see that the only people that use him are people that arent that good :)

Garen is fun when you're a noob and still learning the game. I only played him a bit a few months ago because I never played him right (hide in bush, silence, spin). He's not a character you can ever be good with, only time you have a great game with him is when the other team is stupid.

:D

I did play with a good Garen yesterday actually who just dominated everyone.

And in other news, we all gotta play together again! The mighty Waughoo, the elite icedrake, and the slippery Dolphin!
