League of Legends anyone?

Did a practice with Jarvan, he's pretty fun. I love his "DEMENCIA!" when he ults. Did a normal with CK, and was Kat. The enemy Jarvan walled me in with him and Jax while I was ulting. Lots of free hits :)
Might have got them both if it wasnt under a tower :(
 
Jarvan seems pretty good early game. He seems to be a lot like Xin. Late game, people were building him as tanky, but was still pretty easy to take out.

Been playing more Tree. I like the concept of him a lot. Tanky AP pusher. Still not decided how good of a team champ he is. He is so weak on Super minions, towers, and inhibitors.
 
I played Maokai in a practice last night. His Pikmin are really good. I lost count of how many times I got a kill by chucking one at their turret.

His ult is useless in bot games since there are no team fights so I didn't get to test that.
 
been playing kassadin which usually guarantees me a win solo queuing. now its a guarantee x2 with all the jarvans around. his ult usually blocks out or contains his own team for me to rape as i freely teleport around the battlefield. the only problem is that it is literally too easy to do good with kassadin. it gets boring quick. and yes that makes me sound like an asshole but its the truth.

That is why i take breaks from people I rock with, because it gets too easy.

Morgana
Lux
Kennen
Cho

I am very good at skillshots (yes, im cocky!), which is why I am good with them.
I usually use them in ranked games or in-house games where we really want to win :D
 
Well the tree was interesting to use. But his ultimate.. well I guess it's good when fighting in groups, but using it in hopes of helping to survive against/kill one other person isn't that great. Especially earlier on. Freaking ate all my mana that could have been put to better use just throwing the saplings.

and a side note

Jarvin can not solo a 1v1 or a 1v2 for that matter. He has no range harass at all and no way to heal himself.

Summer and I played in a game: Trundle (me), Tree-dude (Summer/bottom), Jarvin (top), Annie (mid), and Rammus (bottom).

One might think that Rammus and Jarvin should lane together and would get kills with taunt, slow, and other things.

But no. This Jarvin decided I WANT TOP SOLO. And he was queueing with Annie because Annie was riding his ass all game and agreeing with him on everything.

Then Jarvin almost dies and I have to go help him when im like leve 4 and half health.

Then he whines for a gank and annie whines for a gank when I have no mana and then they whine and bitch at me the whole game.

The enemy team is laughing at our Jarvin too the whole game as well.

Then Jarvin and Annie say "lets do baron", but im reluctant because they are all still alive. Then we do it, then die to the other team and Jarvin says I SAID TO PULL OUT.

Then at the end it was all about a gank and what team would surprise the other team.

So top was being pushed, so i went to top (we were near baron) to push it back, then the other team comes and our team decides to fight and not walk away so it was a 4v5, then i got bitched at for not being there when they clearly saw i was not there and should of either went with me top or not fight.

So yeah, was a fun game.

And every fight was a cluster fuck because i believe everyone was melee i think (well, our team was at least and i think the other team was heavy melee).
 
It's always like that. Everyone wants the new champ, and they dont even know how to play him yet. We did a game yesterday with a Jarvan who even said he had never used the champ at all, not even a practice game. Once people get good with him though, he's gonna rape. Especially if you put him with like a Malphite. Malph can know em up, meanwhile Jarvan has through in his flag giving Mal buffs. When they land Jarvan can knock them up again, then once they are down again he can ult and they're stuck.

There is gonna be a lot of people whining about "Kass jumped out of my ult" or someone flashes out of it, Kat might be able to jump out if theres a nearby minion too. Probably anyone with a wall jump can get out, which will make Jarvans cry.
 
anyone with a dash/knock-up/CC is going to make Jarvin's team great.

Team knock-up would be nutso. Janna, Xin, Cho, Jarvin. So much CC that merc treads cant lessen the duration of.

Would be one big bitch to play against.......so we should totally try it sometime

Hm, I think I had the same Jarvin in a match of mine Morph. He just couldn't stop acting as if he was better than the rest of the team. Near the start of the match he said, "MIA on top". I went back to hug my turret, But Annie was still able to snipe me from the side with her teddie and two skills. I died, and Jarvin proceeded to insult me for the entire match saying about how I don't listen to warnings, and how I can't be a team player... 46minutes of him rambling on like that.

Which is strange since the only two other times I died was when I saved his crappy ass. The jerk even trapped me in his ult..
 
Yeah, being trapped IN The ult is the worst part so far.

Played with a Jarvin, I was Malph, and like people have said, Malphs Ult Knockup + Jarvin's Standard + Jarvin's charge + Jarvin's Ult kept them airborne, then ultimately trapped. Ended up winning the match within 20 minutes.
 
Sometimes in games i bitch at my teammates when they have to leave the lane on 1 v 2 when i am on the other side of the map jungling and say "gee, thanks, now we lost the tower"

but then if they end up doing good, i praise them a lot throughout the game :)

i figure that makes ammends! but if they suck, they dont hear the end of my ranting!

I just had a brutal game. It was Nasus, Kass (both top), Cait (mid), and Nunu (me) and Jarvan bot. First, Jarvan didn't buy items so he had to recall. Then we did well against their Yi and Cho. Jarvan got 4/0/1 pretty quickly. Then the 2 of us went and helped mid, got their tower, and then got bot. But then Jarvan did nothing with the team, when we asked him to help he said "No we need a defender." Our top sucked and they had a lot of range with Nidalee and Gragas so they could harass from the bush. Cait was raging at me to run in and initate even though she's squish, Kass had 1/4 health, and Nasus no mana. Of course I get called a stupid noob for this. Also got raged at when I went to chase off Yi top, then went through our jungle, he was there and the rest of them came after me and I died. We ended up losing since Jarvan was never in team fights and the rest of our team was useless.
 
If I have a Cait on my team I assume I'm going to lose. I think she has a recommended tag which strange, because very few people can do well with her. I wonder too, does they consistently do well or do they just get a good team and get a lot of easy kills?

A while ago we were talking about how a lot of the new champs are turning out to be duds. Renekton seems a lot better after his fixes. It's hard for me to know when I can kill him. I guess if his rage gauge is full he is hard to kill? He is pretty much immune to shen with his torpedos too.
 
I miss Teemo. I think I'm gonna go pick up the champion bundle at target today or tomorrow to get him permanently. And then maybe a skin for him.

I'm strangely playing Ashe again though. Know of any decent guides for her? Right now I'm kinda building her with Attack speed and Physical damage:

Dorian's Blade -> Manamune Parts -> ASPD Boots -> Manamune Full -> Bloodthirster -> Situational ASPD/Armor-> Situational ASPD/Armor.
 
I always use mobafire and look at top couple builds to select items. Last whisper, infinity edge, Madred's Bloodrazor, Black Cleaver (I think) are common items for her. From playing tanks I can tell you someone with high attack speed and Madred's tears you apart.

Does 3% of your hp as magical damage.

Hmm, I have like 200+ MR usually. They dont have spell penetration. So that 3% is a LOT less. It is still something, but it is never 3% to a tank

But a lot of people are stupid and stack HP instead of armor or MR. It's necessary against a tanky team. I remember I played with a Rammus who rushed Warmogs instead of Thornmail.

You know I've really never thought to go MR if their AD heroes get Madred's.

So you can go MR to minimize Madred's but then their AD attacks will do more damage, since you aren't get HP or armor.
 
I just get Force of Nature instead of Banshee's if they have someone with Bloodrazor. And if that champ is targeting me, I build Thornmail instead instead of finishing Randuin's.
 
I kinda hate Infinity's edge. But I'll give it a shot for Ashe. I used to build Madred's Bloodrazor on Sivir since she was an aspd goddess, however, it tends to take a while to complete, and that's how I got into grabbing BT.

I've been looking at mobafire.. but eh, even the top rated guides look meh-ish to me.
 
Just had a random game where 3 people insta locked, no tank, so I then insta locked teemo. The 5th guy changed from Shaco to Mundo, lol...

Terrible terrible team, but instalockers are usually terrible. There was a Caitlyn too, so really we had zero chance of winning.
 
Back when I first started I'd play Sivir. You used to just go all attack speed with like one good damage item. Dunno what you build on her now.
 
Am I the only one constantly thrown into games with a bunch of dumbasses who run from fights with full health? Seems like the past five or six games, anytime theres a team fight, two or three people with full health just run back to base. It's so annoying when you can kill the entire enemy team, yet you wind up getting wrecked because people are scared.

Also, people who go for tanks first are annoying as hell. Why are you attacking the tank with 3000 HP when you could be hitting Nidalee who has like 200 HP left and is about to die?

That is all.

And on another note, I think everyone should download Yaric for LOL. Go google it. It lets you change the recommended items in the game to whatever you want. Makes life easier.
 
I used to use Yaric all the time, as well as other editors. Problem is Riot changes stuff just about every patch that makes them stop working. There was another one, dont think it was Yaric, that did recommended items, auto-changed masteries, and added an in-game hud that displayed oppent's pics on the right of the screen. So if say TF goes MIA, you could click on TF's pic and it would automatically send "TF MIA" to your teammates. It also showed their summoner spells next to their pic. If you saw someone use Flash, you could click on the flash icon by them which started a timer to let you know when it'd be up again. Unfortunatly the in-game hud thingy was really buggy and I never got it to work right. Riot never really came out and said not to use those programs, but since they made them not work each patch most of the Devs took the hint.
 
I nearly had a leave put on my record. Although it may as well have stayed there. I dc'd near the start of a match with an Annie and Ashe on my team. We were doing pretty good, I was harassing people with Maokai pretty easily, and even scored the first blood.

Then my internet crapped out and bamn, after trying to rush back on, it wouldn't allow me to reconnect. After restarting my computer, waiting for the damn operating system to load, and praying to whatever god or goddess controls the clear internet connection, I got back in.

Course, my two teammates were lvl 16.. and I was lvl 4. Against three lvl 13s.

I couldn't even jungle for them. How in the world they ended up winning the thing when it was 5 18s and me at 12 was beyond me. I was lucky to have two great teammates, and I ended up being the jackass who did nothing. T_T
 
So tonight at about 1:30 am, I felt like playing Pantheon. I haven't done it since level 30 and when I tried him, I sucked. My team had a rough start and their Akali was hitting us hard. My team had 3 surrender votes, each failed. Then we got Baron and made a lot of progress. Then had some teamfights and got an ace. Me, Fidd and Trist got Baron. Then we did our final push and won. I just stunned Akali and she went down fast. I don't know if Heatseeker Strike procs Black Cleaver, but it looks like it did since I did some insane burst. Feels good to do well with a non-tank champ and will my team to a victory.

I built him 9/0/21, started with Doran's Blade, then worked on Manamune and Last Whisper. Then Heart of Gold, BF Sword into Cleaver, Randuin's, and a Negatron Cloak. I went with my Nunu runes (Magic Pen, MP5, MR/lvl, HP).

Im not sure if HSS processes things either. Would be interesting if it did. Did you feel the nerf of it at all since people can walk out of it easier?

I woke up early when my wife went to work, at 6am and got 2 games. I was used both times.

Game 1: Swain vs Ashe in mid. She was putting the hurt on me. I dont know what she was packing, but her auto attacks hurt. But each time she did that, I threw my E on her. Eventually we were like level 4 and i said ITS TIME TO FIGHT BITCH!

Used my whole arsenal plus ignite and she was putting the hurt on with autoattacks. Needless to say, I flashed out at the perfect time and she died and i barely lived :D

After that, it was just murder ashe every chance I got.


Game 2: Swain vs Ashe AGAIN in mid. This ashe wasnt packing a punch like the other one. So I just farmed and harassed. Killed her one time, but our Annie in top was getting murdered by Sion and tree-guy. She was sad she couldnt do anything so i said lets switch! So here comes Annie against Ashe. Ashe was like level 5 and Annie was level 2!!! Annie held her own and just farmed and almost killed ashe a few times and I was murdering enemies top with Amumu on my team. Their Sion was AD, so he was no threat with our CC. He just melted. Enemy Xin was getting strong in bottom lane against Shen and Ez. He was racking up some kills. In teamfights, I got ignited and focused pretty fast.

I was rocking Rod of Ages, sorc boots, then Rylia's. Then I got the 1 item that will give me victory.....THORNMAIL! Sion cant attack me, xin cant attack me, ashe cant attack me. All they had left was tree-guy and Shen. Piece of cake. Then I got DFG for shits and giggles for my strong combo. We just murdered them everytime after that. I had to go to work so we agreed to just push mid and finish it. So we sure as heck did!

Amumu + Shen + Swain on one team is freaking crazyyyyyyyyy.

I meant before I was level 30. Give me a break, it was 2:30am when I posted that.

I looked and HSS doesn't proc Cleaver, so maybe it was just everyone focusing her. But still, my stuns were the key to victory.

I don't think he's been nerfed too bad. You just have to be quicker and more precise when you pull off the Stun+HSS combo. I went 12/8/12 so if I could do that well having never played him much before, he's not been nerfed much.

i just won 4v5 as master yi. we had 4 from the start

then i was in a 5v5. our xin fed, our irelia fed, and i couldnt do anything after that. i had 1st and second blood too

our xin was like "im trying a new build"

trying a new build does not = why someone feeds

Im enjoying Yi. I tried the crit build and life-steal build. I think they both work pretty well. Not sure which I enjoy more. I am learning when to attack and when to run, hes real tricky to learn
 
Had some really good games last night. Won 1 as Kat, lost another, then won like 2 or 3 more as Lux. I was doing really good at landing her hold, had some really clutch saves with it. Once I had like no health left, and Garen and Poppy were chasing me. I hit both of them with Q as I ran, which made Poppy have to run cause she was low and our Kat was killing her. Garen chased me under the tower, I went behind it and he just couldnt get to me. I kept the tower between us the whole time, he never go a chance to hit me and I got a free kill :) Had another where the same two where about to kill our Kat, and I hit both of them with a Q so Kat got away, and was about to get a kill on their Poppy.

Or one loss was entirely due to the other team's Karthus. We all built like Hexdrinkers or Banshees for him which put us all behind on damage output. They had a terrible Ashe who couldnt land her Ult for crap. Once, 3 of us were at mid tower, I actually was watching bot and then looked back at myself mid. Ashe had hit me with her arrow, but I was at the tower and there was none of her team around. So one wasted Ult. She did it to others like 3 times. She finally got me with one because they had warded a bush I was in, and she was in the bush next to it. So she was right on top of me when she shot it, then was bragging about how great her shot was and thats what we get for making fun of her. Cause ya know, point blank shots with Ashe require SO much skill. But we ended up losing cause their Karth hurt too much, even though we were killing him first.

ya, i was using Ghostblade with Yi. I was going Ghostblade first, then boots, then Starks, then wriggles, then bloodthirster. So much life stealing!
 
Just went 17/2/18 as nunu. Didnt have any AD on our team.

Just went 13/1/19 as Shen. Didnt even try to kill any kills. I should retire when Im ahead. There must be terrible games ahead.

I'm noticing that I'm getting focused a lot more often than I used to. Like, I'll be behind my entire team, and the entire enemy team will rush past all of them to try and kill me. I usually can shumpo to safety, but even if I die they are gonna lose at least 3 or 4 people. So it's all good.
