There also another one for some of the board games. I didn't print it so not sure which ones are included.

The boardgame coupon is good for $5 off on the three largest Heroica sets and the Ninjago game.

Right now Castle Fortaan is on sale for $19.99, so using the coupon will make it half-off at $14.99.

Ramses Pyramid should still be $9.99 as well. My Target still has a bunch too. Great deal at 66% off.

Thanks for the info on the Castle Fortaan sale price. Between that, the coupon, and employee discount I think I'll have to pick it up.

Anyone here actually work at a Lego Store? I'm interviewing for a spot at my local one on Friday; just wondering if there are any good insider tips on killing the interview (as if I weren't already a perfect fit for the place).

That's a good buy at that price. My daughter is 10 and it took a game or two for her to be comfortable with all the rules, but now we really have fun playing it together. I'm looking to grab some of the other smaller Heroica sets for her as Xmas presents.

I grabbed a couple of mini AT Tanks ($2) from Target yesterday as they put some of the Halloween stuff at 50% off...candy is at 30% off though???

Shout out to Skiizim for pulling me back into this thread. ;)

The Ninjago glider is also $2. They don't have them in the halloween section, but they should be at the checkout lines.

At Target, two polybags in the new holiday section I found are the Kingdoms crossbowman (3.49) and Harry Potter lab dealy (3.99). Very excited about the crossbowman polybag. I've been looking for that for awhile but only ever saw it as a giveaway on S@H.
The Ninjago glider is also $2. They don't have them in the halloween section, but they should be at the checkout lines.
Thanks for the heads up. Just checked my local Target and found that ALL the Lego polybags except the Toy Story Jeep scanned at $1.99. This included a Star Wars Republic Attack Cruiser that I hadn't seen before. The Halloween sets were sold out and they hadn't set their Christmas section yet so I can't speak on how those were priced.

I picked up a couple Ninja Gliders for 1.99 today. They are clearance but I think it's the type of clearance that rings up automatically and doesn't need to be ticketed. There were 3 cases of 60 left when I was at work today.

Here's the Lego store November calendar for Europe that has my daughter's acorn model as their monthly mini-build. She didn't win the contest last year for the US, but Lego liked it so much they asked if they could use it for their European stores' Nov. mini-build. She still got the same prize as the contest winner. She is going to flip when she sees this calendar tomorrow morning!!!

(I bet she is going to be angry that they added the leaf part though!)

EDIT: Yeah, she was peeved they "altered" it by adding a leaf...sheesh, artists!

I completely forgot about that, looks really solid though! I bet your daughter will be very happy! I guess Lego had to make it there own by adding the leaf which in my opinion really didn't do anything for it.

From this point on, remember to check the Giftcard hanging endcaps at Target (usually one by the greeting cards and one by the snacks) for the 3-in-1 Bullseye Dog/Snowman/Polar Bear Lego Gift Card this year. Toy Book states available from 11/6 until 12/25, but it can show up in-store anytime from now.

49 pieces + a nifty little plastic case. Last year I bought 3 dogs (put $5 each on them, them used them the next time I went shopping) and I still use the cases to store lightsabers and other small pieces/parts in.

Make sure she reads brickset.

"a rather disappointing acorn"

I find it funny because Huw there acts like a 12 year old.

I found the Ninja Glider, the Atlantis Diver and the Helicopter with pilot all on clearance at my Target for $1.19. Bought 8 of each for stocking stuffers. They had the Toy Story 3 Jeep with Army guy as well, but that one was still full price.

I bet when I go to Target on Sunday, they will ALL be full price, and I'll never see any of the new bags till a week before xmas.

Anyone know the latest B&N Kids coupon?

(Thanks to those that posted last time)

This is what Brickset is saying....

Valid Friday 11/4 thru Saturday 11/5, the Queen Anne's Revenge (4195), Police Station (7498) and Garmadon's Dark Fortress (2505) are 25% Off the normal TRU price. Even better, Toys R Us is running a "Doorbusters" additional discount between 3pm Friday and 1pm Saturday. During this time period, you can save an additional 20% on these 3 sets if purchased with the following coupon. These stacked discounts will result in savings of 30%, 34%, and 44% Off MSRP respectively for the QAR, Police Station and Fortress.

Additionally for Friday and Saturday, Toys R Us will be selling the City Fire Truck (7239), PotC Fountain of Youth (4192), Hero Factory Rocka XL (2282), and Duplo Pet Shop (5656) for $19.99 each. The savings off of MSRP for these sets would be 13%, 0%, 20% and 20% Off MSRP respectively. Please note that the "Doorbusters" coupon will not apply to these sets.

Thanks for the heads up. I found them at one Target today. Happy to see them doing it again. Also found the polybags at 1.19. There were plenty of the ninjas left. Army jeep still 3.99, though, and that's the set I want the most.

Where are people finding the polybags? I was at Target today and didn't see a one and they had giftcards above every cashier but no Lego ones.

The polybags were still were they always were -- at the checkout lanes toward the bottom of the pegs. Some stores put out the new Star Wars ship polybags there, too. I found the Lego giftcards at the end of the greeting card aisle.

I have never seen them at checkout. I don't even know what "bottom of the pegs" mean.

All I have ever seen has been in the seasonal area. The check only has food and books and such.

Stopped at TRU today at 3pm. Apparently word was out about the Doorbusters - place was a madhouse. Reminded me of Christmastime. Grabbed a Garmadon's Dark Fortress for 36.99 by using the $5 coupon I got in the mail, plus the WOW coupon plus the sale. Almost 50% off, not bad.

Managed to pick up quite a few different polybags for $1.19. Picked up 7 of the republic ships as they were plentiful and contain a nice mix of parts. Was hoping to stock up on white ninjas as well, but there was only 1 left.

I don't know what craziness led to this price (an especially odd price...why $1.19?) but I'm glad it happened.

Still no giftcard LEGO though. Luckily, it looks as my store hasn't stocked them yet rather than them being sold out, so i'll definitely check back in.

I got Queen Anne's Revenge for $89 (incl. tax), not really a madhouse at my store though. Only two left when I got there, though.

Yeah Queen Anne and the Ninjago Fortress are excluded from the BOGO, but you could get a pretty good deal on 2 Police Stations while the bonus WOW doorbuster discount is still valid: 82.49 sale price - 20% off = 65.99 + 33 (41.25 - 20% off) = 98.99 total for 2 Police Stations.

Speaking of City, I noticed TRU.com lists some of the new forest police sets, although they are all out of stock (were they ever in?).

Just went to the Target in Bridgewater, NJ. They had Atlantis underwater scooter thing (30042), Ninja glider (30080), and City Fire helicopter (4900) for $1.19 each. Found them at the impulse buys by the registers and picked up 3 of each. Nice deal! Thanks for the post!
Excludes Ninjago and POTC.
Yeah I just saw that. I bought two more of the $5 AC set. I love them.

And TRU Was a mad house yet still had several checkouts open. More people work in a little toy store than work at fucking lowes.

I went to Sears today and they were having 30% off regular priced toys. Didn't see many Legos I wanted except for HQ exploration, but I'm saving my money for a laptop. I bought a prison carriage rescue for 6.99 though. Need to build up my knight armies.

Sorry, I was thinking all Targets were the same. At mine, in the checkout lanes there's candy, snacks, magazines and then impulse stuff on pegs (batteries, tissus, hand sanitizer, etc., and toys). The toys are always at the bottom (eye level with kids).

Went nuts on those $1.19 bagged sets at a couple of Targets. Bought 90 of the things, mostly ninjas. Because....can you ever have too many ninjas?

wow really?

I was thinking maybe 20 or so... but 90? what else was there?

That's more than the usual amount of ninjas.

No. You need about 90 ninjas for the ninja parade.
http://www.theonion.com/video/ninja-parade-slips-through-town-unnoticed-once-aga,14181/

I picked up many Republic Cruisers hoping I can use the pieces to make mini A-Wings and/or other OT minis. At 2.9 cents a piece, it's a great deal.
That's great that 30062 has made a comeback, but whatever happened to this Kingdoms polybag set? I never saw this one anywhere: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30061-1
I never saw 30061 in California. I had to order them from Germany via Bricklink. I think I only paid about $3.80 each shipped in bulk (x16)! Unfortunately the price is more like ~$5.50 each shipped in bulk now.

I only saw 30062 one day at Target last year and bought a dozen (there were 30 left). They were never to be seen again. Couldn't believe they didn't restock as that's the best minifig based polybag they've ever put together. That polybag deserves a comeback.

BTW: The Target 2011 3-in-1 giftcard is epic.

30061 never went state side.

30062 is coming back, I think it's going to be the holiday bag... at least there is talk of it at Target.

I'd say about 70 of them were ninjas. I also picked up some of the Atlantis set and some of the fireman set. and 1 of one of the Star Wars ones (Trade Federation tank thing). Saw some of the Toy Story Jeeps but they were not marked down (Too bad I'd have loved to scavenge their green heads and hands for orcs to use those gold swords the ninjas come with). I didn't really intend to buy that many...but you start grabbing, get a little out of control and end up with a giant ninja army heh. I didn't even clean them out. The one Target still had probably 20-30 ninjas left, another 20-30 Atlantis and maybe 10 of the fireman sets.

I'd love to see some of the archer or cop sets at that price but they seem sold out around here. About to head out to one more Target to see if I can find any of those.
wow really?
i have extras of the 30080 Ninjago polybag white ninja if anyone wants to trade etc etc...
PM crowbb, he needs more ninja. 70 is never enough.

Well they had only 2 Heli's and good amount of ninjas, and even a few SW polys.

The TS jeep was still full price. And I didn't find any City police.

I picked up like 9. I didn't want to be that guy with the cart full of ninjas ;)
