Yeah, I'm hoping we'll see the preorders from EE ship out soon. The craptastic thing is that I just got a catalog from EE with a 15 off 99 coupon on it...better than what I got with BING, no to mention the possibility of combining the two (yes, I know coupons aren't supposed to be used with Bing CB).

The pen sucks anyway. The 'minifig' that goes with the pen is made out of cheap plastic and the torso doesn't stay on well. Atleast that's the case with the 2 I was given yesterday.

I can confirm that they've hit Midwest area Borders as well. Just saw two, half-full display boxes at my local Borders. Too pricey at $3 a piece for me, but they sometimes have a 25% off your entire purchase coupon, which would make them only $2.25 a piece.

I hate to say this but the ticket was just handed to my wife and does not show up on the receipt. My first reaction when my wife showed me was that there are some people who are going to take advantage of this in a really bad way.

Well, I am out of luck on the Series 1 minifigures at the Borders in my area. I received a single-item 40% off coupon in my email, so I was hoping to use it on a full sealed box. I called all 3 stores and was able to obtain an item number from their computer: 3168133 - all 3 stores said they were listed as LEGO Minifigures Vol. 1 at $2.99 each, but it was an item they were not going to ever get, nor could they even special order it. She told me they can't order toys. Toys are just sent to them at random from the distributor - they never know what they are going to get. This would explain their odd selection of other LEGO sets. But hopefully that item number can help somebody else out there...

Grabbed 50 Series 1 Minifigures at a Phoenix TRU today. They received 2 boxes. I left behind around 30+. I have no idea what I got yet. I won't get into these until the weekend. Hopefully I got at least 2 sets.

The box's picture in the product description is blue, but has pictures of the series 1 minifigs on it? And then it has a confidential stamp on it too!

If these complete box preorders ever ship, they might be the best way to get a complete box for series two. I'm figuring that TRU realizes now that they are getting a limited supply of these and no restock(at least this is the case with series one so far) and will likely limit or prohibit us from grabbing boxes like last month.

Surprisingly enough, my store got restocked today. We put one case out and holding the rest for this weekends Lego event.
 
Well, my Minifigure Series 1 box order with EE was cancelled today...by me ;)
I found the whole set at TRU today. There was no limit, so I got a few extras that I wanted multiples of for customizing. It took me almost an hour to sort through all the barcodes on 120 packs with my "crib sheet". The cashier let me take a display box and gave me a free LEGO Rock Band keychain too - she was happy to get rid of some more minifigs - she said she is tired of all the constant phone calls! LOL! I told her the bad news that Series 2 was supposed to hit at the end of June, and Series 3 later on.
Now, I should mention that this was the 2nd local TRU I hit today. The first would not sell me any Minifigs and were bundling one of them with the free SW pen if you bought a set worth 19.99 or more (no, you coudn't buy 2 $10 sets, one had to ring up at @19.99 to get the freebie). The barcodes would not even scan in their system anymore - it just said PROMO item - weird.
Very happy (until Series 2 hits)! :D

We really like our one and only local TRU so we don't really want to push the issue but our local store did not get any pens in today. When my wife called and ask about the pen since we bought two lego sets on Sunday, the lady said that they did not get any in and did not offer a substitute.

Is there anything official that states the Lego city traveler impulse set is the substitute?

Yes. You can ask them to check the "Daily Communication" for 06/16/10. It was sent to all stores via email this morning.
 
I guess the S@H limit on the minifigures was lifted, so naturally, they're now sold out.

Also, if the word from Eurobricks is to be believed, the price in Europe for the TRU Truck and Store is the same as the Lego Truck itself. Seems kinda weird.
 
No, I don't think they ever lifted the 5 fig limit, it's just a highly in-demand product with limited availability.

I rec'd my order of 5 figs (and a passenger plane, hooray!) today.
 
This is probably already common knowledge, but for any iPhone owners out there looking for minifigures, you can scan the second bar code with the Red Laser application from the iTunes store and it will pop up with the figure name and picture.

This might save some time and stress if you're in TRU and don't want to keep going back and forth between your sheet and the barcodes.
 
I was at a Wal-mart tonight and found the clearance section that had several galactic enforcers and some hot pursuits. They were full price... in the clearance section. Imagine that. (Yes, I scanned them to make sure)

This happened to me too :( there were
two space police originally 70$ and they were under a clearance
sign that said 25$ and they would
not give it to me at that price

one of 3 orders didn't ship complete. I had a minifig to bump me over $20 and they never shipped it. I'll have to check to see if they backordered it or canceled it.

Store had 3 GE marked at $60... I was tempted to pick up a 2nd one. Alot of nice white pieces plus 5 minifigs isn't too bad. One of them is a girl.

The minifigures are a complete mess!

They are sold out on S@H! What did that take? Three weeks?! fucking LEGO company, stupid as can be.

I believe earlier posts have stated the galactic enforcer is clearancing for $70 at most Walmarts.

GE MSRP is at $99.99 USD. So, yes... there IS a $100 Space Police set.

When they were first advertised they did say that these were going to be 'limited' and that they won't last long. I guess they were serious. Check the LEGO mags that say exactly that.

I'm sure if your mom found some for you, you wouldn't be bitchin' all the time...

You obviously can't read, go back to school. Dansoccerball said that the SP set was originally $70 and was in the clearance sets, but there is no $70 set.

They were supposed to be out for 6 weeks, not six days. The thing is bullshit because I have a TRU 2 miles from my house and I won't ever step in foot of that place. LEGO should have just made them exclusive to S@H and have a limit of 50, the way this was handled is a fucknig joke. The people who have $130 to waste of LEGO get the minifigures in a box, yet the ones who would want 5-10 don't. That's fair.

I'm referring to regional chains. Fred Meyers just got theirs in today. Since I know bunches of you are from california and the midwest, I figured if I was nonspecific as to what smaller chains, you guys would figure it out.

I got all the ones I was looking for, after checking a few stores and hunting through the boxes, but good hunting to you guys. I hope you get all you're looking for :D


- Also, Kmart has 30% off clearance toys. There's probably still some things out there. Especially with the new sets coming out.
 
Noticed Target put out World Racers and Kingdoms sets as well as Lego games, but they were all on an endcap so they didn't reorganize the Lego section...yet.
 
well I got my orders in. I only grabbed 4 minifigs with Shop @ Home.

But that's good is that they are my top 4.

They forgot to pack my Jester, called and they are sending it.

I will check Borders on the weekend... maybe not till Sunday. There are 2, but don't know if they will have them or not.

EE hasn't shipped the box yet.

If everything... everything goes horridly wrong...

At least I will have my Forestman, Robot, Zombie, and Ninja.
 
Picked up Space Police 5974 Galactic Enforcer for $45 today. They only had 1 and I hit 5 other walmarts as well no more clearance except for 1 bionicle Skopio for $30. Was actually prowling for clearance electronics and found diddly.
 
So... Entertainment Earth apparently got their minifig shipment today. My account now says backorder on both screens. Did anybody actually get their shipment notification today?

Pending charge on the credit card as of today.... so I'm thinking they are packing it to ship it.

they are selling 10 for $30, almost was going to grab 4 packs but they were going to charge 15 for shipping.... got the code to save 15, but that expires the 21st.

They better ship!

You're probably in luck then, my card doesn't have any pending charges. I just sent them an email to ask them whats up, though. I'm guessing they'll end up cancelling mine. Oh well, I just wish they'd do it already rather than changing my order status a thousand times.

The funny thing is, they are charging $3.99 for one figure which is ridiculous, and yet they have a 110% low price guarantee. So if Lego.com or any other website gets them in for retail price online, they'd be 1.80 each, which isn't too bad.

When did you order?

I think ours was the 21st or 24th of May.

$4 is way too much for a minifig.

I will be checking a borders... but I'm not having high hopes.

Second week of April. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.
 
Now the order says PENDING.... so I'm thinking they are shipping soon!

excited, becuase I'm doubting I'll find any minifigs at Borders tomorrow... :/
