I'm not. Still haven't bought a single game for it. My big bro is getting one for his birthday, and I'm supposed to find some games for it... haven't a clue what there is that's good and cheap.
There is good, and there is cheap. For a 8 month old system, there isn't much that satisfies both criteria yet (the same can be said of the Wii, IMO). Last year's sports games can be had on the cheap (Madden 07 is $12 at GS); but that's not an incentive to many, as sports game fans tend to buy this year's model. I can understand.
The only cheap-cheap PS3 game I've seen is Enchanted Arms, which I've heard is a decent RPG, but at $20, it's cheaper (and a more recent release) than it's 360 counterpart. I don't order fish at restaurants on a Monday, because they've been sitting around all weekend and stink. I feel the same way about this game (though admittedly haven't played it).

ing amazing; I don't know how they improved upon such a phenomenal game to the degree they did, but they did (And did they ever!). I completely understand, however, if you don't want to pay $60 for Ninja Gaiden Black 1.5 (which was itself Ninja Gaiden 1.5). Once this puppy hits $30, though, I'll curb stomp your garden if you don't own it. It's too good to be true, IMO.
Resistance is ok. It's a shooter, and a mixture of the "end of the world alien invasion" shooter and "WWII" shooter cliches. 40 man matches are a cluster
of fun, but not $60 fun. It would be a top notch game if Gears of War never happened, but, hey, The Four Horsemen would have been a bigger band if Nirvana's Nevermind wasn't released the same day as their first album (Nobody Said it Was Easy). However, it did happen, and GoW did happen, so bully for Epic and Xbox. It doesn't hold a candle to GoW, and in 5 years, Resistance will be a forgettable shooter in the way that GoW will not be. That's my opinion, and I'm stickin' to it.
The Fall will be nice. Having played both Warhawk and Heavenly Sword (beta and demo, respectively), I think both are top notch games that will be highly regarded. Warhawk is great online fun, and controls rather intuitively. Heavenly Sword takes a God of War approach to Ninja Gaiden-style unforgiveness towards button mashers. I dig the hell out of both.
I can't speak for R&C or Uncharted, because I know little of either.
Oblivion: GOTY will be out this fall for both 360 and PS3, and that's up to you which to get it for.
PS3's biggest failure right now has not been a lack of games, because they *are* there, IMO. What the Wii has avoided in a lack of games (my opinion is that, outside of a small number of blockbusters like Twilight Princess and Super Paper Mario, there aren't many games worth buying for it), they have also successfully avoided being *accused* of lacking good games. How? Virtual Console. Every week, Wii fans begin to clamor on Sautrday morning about the three games that will be available for download come Monday morning. GUARANTEED. The games are there every Monday. Even when they stink, they're there.
In comparison, the PSN has put out underwhelming arcade-y games, like XBLA, but nothing has stood out except for fl0w (another game I recommend). They don't always have demos come out, and if they do at all, it's weeks after they've been played through on the 360. Why bother with the PS3 version now? PSN games are hit or (usually) miss, and priced decently. Worst of all, they only have 12 PSX games for download on the PSN. What they SHOULD do is put out 1 game (minimum) each week. Much like the VC, accusations that "PS3 has no games" would fall by the wayside if people began to clamor for what PSX games were coming down the pipeline on Thursday. Instead, we get a half dozen trailers for dumbass movies (FRED
IN' CLAUS! FRED
IN' CLAUS!), and no demos/PSN games at all. I don't care if it's Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero, it's something.
To wit: the Japan PSN store has 97 PSX games available already, and their console launched at damn near the same time ours did. We in the US have 12. That's a substantial failing with the PSN and PS3 that, if fixed, would very, very quickly revitalize the image of the PS3 in the US market. And, overall, reaches a larger userbase (for cheaper!) than a GQD reprint, I might add.
