Correct, it just contains a few materials, stickers, objects, and costumes.
 
The level pack everybody is talking about is the one from kotaku about the Metal Gear costume pack, it also mentions there being a level pack also. Hopefully they're talking about a real level pack and not that holiday creation item pack. Dang, I realised I got my hopes up for no reason, since I naturally also assume it would be some kind of MGS level pack also.
 
i read some were i think it was on a playstation page that theres rare costumes and there like $5 each not sure if there rare ones though
 
Damn you Metal Gear, now I know I'll be getting the level pack and costume pack for this. I can't believe how much a sucker I am for MGS.
 
I really hope this MGS pack gets released today. I also hope this means that they might have a little more in mind when it comes to that Sephiroth sackboy they showed when they first showed the Snake sackboy.

They already announced what was out this week, so you'll have to hope for it to be the release for next week.
 
I'm still trying to figure that one out. If you've visited my Trophy level, you'll know I have something to this thing's effect, albeit smaller, and not a plus sign. But it never came up to me.

That'd be sweet. I bet you they are planning something like that for LBP2; make it so you can change the move-list of your sack boy. Pressing SELECT cycles through platforming mode and fight mode. In fight mode it basically resembles Smash bros, and you can customize your Sackboy's fighting style (IE, map Sackboy fire ball to the Square button, Sackboy super charge to Circle) and with this comes the edition of Sackboy health, each move has different advantages/disadvantages ect. You can choose in your created levels to allow, force, or disable fight mode.

That'd be awesome.

Well, the new trophies are already showing up on the XMB, so i thought the pack would be out already?
 
Well I checked my level out. My wheel's speed was nowhere close to maximum. It's 25 and the max is 60. I'm looking at the new Trophies right now, and I'm guessing the Silver ones are the toughest, and maybe Thrifty Painter, but I doubt it.

Giving Sackboy a weapon is pretty cool I must say, but it might be considered pandering to some.
 
Ugh, I can't get this patch. It keeps crashing on me, I just wanted to check to see if anybody else hearted my level (doubt it, but definitely want a little platinum boy). I think it is on my end though.

Interesting note:

- People who have the DLC can host games for people who don't have it
- People who have the DLC can create levels with these items in it as prizes (including the Paintgun) so everyone can get it.

That's very nice of Media Molecule to do that.

I guess, but it still means that they could get all the Trophies for it, except the upload a level with Paintgun.

It doesn't matter, this is so bought, so are the MGS costumes, as well as the Festive stuff on Tuesday for me.
 
Damnit, there goes more money to PSN, this MGS add-on looks like it will be really really nifty.

That trailer Rolento posted settles it, this will be mine as soon as its available.

I wonder how the new stages will get accessed? new sub zone in the main planet is what i am suspecting.
 
There's a new update (1.07) out. Didn't like 1.06 come out like 2 days ago? It's 67mb, so I'm guessing it's the MGS content (you pay for an unlock I guess)

Some of the changes include: (I'm stealing this from the NeoGaf)
They now have: Most hearted, busiest, highest rated, newest levels..search text, search tags...

Also got rid of "Recently Played"

And they've added another root menu option, LittleBigStore.

The MGS video is soooo freakin cool. But it makes me even more disappointed that the DLC level packs aren't actually fully functioning levels.

Edit: So there are 5 MM-created levels to play?

Would be cool if they added the camo for old snake lol but wow this mgs update is alot better than first told. Thats sweet day one for me

Does the 6 MM levels go into the story mode? Or are they just found online? That would be uber sweet having two new creators in story mode; Liquid and Solid snake creators =P

Ahhh! Sweet mother! I am having a LBP Sackgasm this morning... laser sight dadget? Plasma ball danger?! new switch trigger!?!! *explode* Also NEW TROPHIES! One that is; "Collect all MGS prize bubbles"! So they are in the story mode! AHH! Please god release soon!

*AHH* Paintanator is a power up!? So you can put it in your level if you want to or not!? Thats so cool! I thought everyone could just have it all the time... *hyperventilates* This just opens up so many possibilities for my levels, I am SO making Little Dead Space 2 now. WOOHOO!

DarknessBear, not to make your head explode, but it comes out the 23rd. I've heard that it creates another Planet, but I'm not sure.

My other guess would be an emo mechanic

The LittleBigStore is missing one piece of DLC, and that's the Nariko costume. Why isn't it there? My guess: Heavenly Sword pack is in the works
 
Suck it...

But, go play Little Dead Space now. Its messed up because of the light color change. So now the lights display their color (instead of being white) which is AWESOME for some things but really made my level look like a happy disco light party... and also, something happened where the background is no longer black... they did something... o_O So my Space sky is light grey... hope they add an option to make the light show its true color or stay white. Cause with my level I have a lot of subdued colored lights (just to get give it more atmosphere) now I have these bright little pink lights everywhere...
