It seems that they may convert the beta into an open demo the week before release.
I didn't get in, but I didn't try either. It just seemed like way too much work

Is there any way that somebody would have some extra Nariko Pre-Order codes. I need about 4 of them and I wouldn't mind paying for them at all. As long as its reasonable. I want one, and three of my friends want one as well and I told them I would buy it for them as a Early Christmas present. Just let me know Via PM! Thanks guys!
 
Having the open beta right before release was always part of the plan. Just I think things got trimmed down a bit, but it is good to see they still have the plan.
 
Yeah, guess the demo thing is the only way to go...also I found out a friend of mine is going to buy it...maybe I'll just borrow it off him down the road.
 
Wasn't IGN or GamePro supposed to give out more keys today? I checked IGN site and it still shows the trivia from Tuesday.

What about Gamespot? Have they done ANYTHING in the past week? If they don't hand out any codes today, they will officially become the #1 most hated website on my list of blacklisted sites (It's quite an honor actually. Over 10,000 sites blacklisted)
 
For those who didn't already know, they held the contest but didn't have keys. They forwarded the emails of the winners over to Sony, who will be giving out the keys.

Now Gamespot will have another contest again tomorrow on On The Spot.

I really hope that the final build of LBP is a lot more stable than this one. It's crashed my PS3 like 5 times already.

Oh, no doubt there. Day 1 purchase. My and some buddies are setting aside a weekend to just build. Then the next weekend, we're gonna do the same... with drinking. Can't wait to see what shit that creates.

fuck YES! Someone traded me a key for an R2 beta key. I'm downloading the beta right now. All the hours and sleep deprivation that i've put into this...it's all over now.
 
So, I just finally pulled the trigger on a PS3, and I'm trying to decide if I should run out an pre-order this. I remember reading that some places ran out of the bonus codes, was that just temporary?
 
You don't get a beta code for pre-ordering, if that's what you're asking, just one of the pre-order bonuses (kratos, nariko, burlap sack, etc) that have been announced already.
 
When you preorder at Gamestop, do they give you the Kratos code then or when you pick up the game?

I wasn't referring to the beta codes, I meant the costume codes.

I got mine when I preordered, but when I tried to enter the code in my PSN account it said it was invalid. So maybe I can't activate until the game is out.

Okay, they should still be available in most places, though you might want to call first to make sure you don't waste a trip.

Sinistar: It's probably not in the PS Store yet, so you'll have to wait until it's there, maybe not until the game's out.
 
Yeah with my code I scratched off it to hard and the first couple of letters I can barely read, so I wont know until after game is out to test it since you're probably right it wont work until the DLC is available.
 
btw an update...
Remember on Monday the LBP site said they were giving out beta keys only to the first 1000 people that commented on the post that they made?

I was commenter 1500+ or somewhere around there, and they happened to send me a key today. Guess there were either a lot of multiple posters or people who tried to sign in with multiple accounts or something.
