Little Big Planet - Gen. Discussion & Info

Question: Are created levels kept on the game save or the game install file? I've been working frantically on a level and have been worried of losing it. I keep copying my save file to a USB but have noticed that no matter how much content has been added to the level the file save remains the same size. Are levels just that small in size?

I'm thinking about doing a little session to help people get the 4x item bubbles on Sunday at 5 PM EST.

The only 4x levels are:
- The Dancer's Court
- The Frozen Tundra
- The Bunker
- The Collector's Lair

So if anyone wants to get them, show some interest and it should take about 45 minutes to get them.
 
I need the Bunker and Frozen Tundra. That'll get me my "all booty" trophy. Unfortunately, tomorrow is my father's b-day and i won't be home to play at that time.
 
I'm down. I've been needing the 4x for a while. What level is the 3x one on? If we can't do it on sun. than maybe we can put it on hold until we get 4. I'll send any interested a FR

I'm interested- although I must warn, I've only had the PS3 about a week, and haven't reached the levels mentioned yet. (I still need most of the 2x bubbles!) If you can put up with a lot of noob deaths, I'm 'HoshiChiri'.

I'll say that it's delayed until Tuesday at 7 PM EST.
The Bunker is the only level that needs 3 players and the last levels are 4x specific so if Dual can't make it to the last levels before Tuesday then we'll do this at 7 PM EST on Thursday.


I haven't found that dragon hat costume piece yet, I don't even know where it is.... :cry:

Oh and isn't the Game of Death/Kill Bill style jumpsuit supposed to be yellow? I might be going color blind but mine's a lime green looking color.



Edit: Even more incentive to complete those 4x areas now.

Alright, Thursday it is. I don't think there's a need to rush through, it took me about 5 days to finish the story levels, we'll eventually get to it.

That works for me- I need the "win a 4 player match" one too. I tried to get it on my own, but i can't ever seem to find 4 other players.

oh yea- and thanks for the link to the PS3trophie forum- i'm sure that will help me get my player hearts / level plays.

Also I was thinking about LBP today and I'm kinda wondering why they haven't come out with Trophies for specific community-based levels? I mean, yeah, it is Trophy whoring, but it'd get some people to pick up the game again and play some of the best levels the game has to offer. I'm not saying they'll do it, but it'd be a sweet idea.
 
I'm willing to play with people when I can to try and get the 4x trophies. Doing a scheduled thing probably isn't possible with me, but if you catch me online, send a message and we'll work on it. I also need the trophy for playing a game with 4 people on my friends list, so friend me up!

Hey, I'm thinking of getting a CAG team together to recreate a game/movie into LBP. Similar to what GAF did with recreating Contra - having each person create a level.

Would anyone be interested in this?

count me in!!! guys (especially you nballard, i owe you one for the Wobble Pole key), but i'm not sure you guys gonna be around when i sign in, i;ll try anyway.

I need both 4x trophies (three people not on my friend list and three people are). So, yeah, after the Socialite trophy, you guys will be in my friends list (well, if you accept the invite that is).

And we have times... i need those damn 4x prize bubbles!

lol. If people still need to "3 strangers" trophie- maybe it would be best to create an open ended level and publish it and just wait for people to join in- after you have 4, run to the end, friend everyone and repeat.

Saturday Warhawk usually ends around 2 am Eastern.
 
:lol: That's 11 PM for me, the headset always kills my ear before I can make it to the end of Warhawk nights. Well if you guys want to have a 4x item hunt on Warhawk Clan night, then we can do that. Maybe drag Freaky or SoCal along to make 4 people.

Do what I do, have the chat come through the TV speakers, then you could hang the headset on your shirt or something (I use my eye, but that really could work :lol:).

Ummm... actually, no. Haven't gotten around to accessorizing the PS3 (not to mention I don't have any RL friends with one, so I didn't expect to need one soon.)

Though it's completely ridiculous, pointing and nodding with your Sackperson works really well. Shouldn't be too difficult for the 4x stuff, should be easy to figure out.

I should be pretty good at that, considering I spent most of the first day with the game waving my arms and making faces instead of, y'know, playing. :D
