This would be a good thing if they said give us this many points and you will be given 1 prize voucher to chooose any prize you can afford with remaining points


with the way it is i would lose a butt load of points and still would not get wut i want
 
Don't have enough points to even go for the 100PTZ wave option without making it impossible to get what I want. I'll just have to hope I can get in on the general redemption. This site is far too poorly organized for me to bother with for much longer, I'd like to just grab a Ratchet & Clank PSP bundle and run.
 
I'll gladly drop the points for one specific chance to redeem rather than waiting for the ridiculous random redemption. Sure there will be a lot of people doing this, but I think your odds are much better. Thankfully I have enough to spare.

Nah, I wouldn't say that at all. They're having one full general redemption and three extra "buy in" redemptions, meaning the people who the ptz into it will only get to redeem. What if only 20% of the people who are going to redeem drop 300 ptz to get the extra 3 tries? It gives people four tries to get a prize.

Each month since November, they've been improving the website every redemption. Weren't able to redeem any of the months? Well, just because the site is more stable doesn't mean they add an extra 100,000 prizes or anything like that. Would you like more prizes and a site that isn't able to handle all the traffic or a stable site that is getting closer to going live?

There's no website out there that you'll get free stuff easily. It takes patience, persistence, and a little bit of forgiveness. These people are doing their best to make the site what everybody wants, and even though the site improves, people still are upset that they can't get items. Wait another five or six months, save up your ptz, and you'll get what you want when the site goes live.

Get ready for the Member Appreciation Redemption Sign Up starting tomorrow evening. Here are the rules:

1. You can only sign up for one (1) option, so select carefully.

2. PTZ are nonrefundable.

3. By signing up, you increase your chances to redeem a prize, but you are not guaranteed a prize.

4. PTZ needed to redeem a prize are in addition to the PTZ used to sign up for Member Appreciation Redemption.

Rules for Member Appreciation Redemption on 2/25:

1. You can only redeem one (1) prize in total, including the General Redemption.

2. You must login during each wave to participate.

3. These Rules are in addition to Lockerz' Terms of Use and PTZ Rules.

Okay, for the record, I have been keeping up with Lockerz for the past few weeks, even though I said I wouldn't. I consider myself a fair guy.

But this member appreciation gave me the best laugh while at work today. So, you spend, minimum 100 PTZ, just for another chance? You can burn up to 350 PTZ for a total of four chances?

Not bad if the sign-up gave you a discount, but I will say this right now, here are my two predictions:

1. There will be a lot of people that signed up complaining that they missed the MAR because of the timing (such as being away from the computer) or it be the usual "Keep hitting F5 on the main page and try to get lucky with no idea what hour the redemption will even be." Bonus complaints for having spent points on nothing.
2. The general redemption for everyone will be even less stocked (because of the MAR waves), thus leading to people being even madder if they're lucky enough to hit the redemption time window and there are only wallpapers left. (Seriously, wallpapers cost PTZ? Horid wallpapers, at that...)

Well, the next week and a half (including the general open redemption) are going to be quite amusing for me...

I have, but sitting there playing chicktionary for an hour and a half each day isn't really something I found enjoyable. Plus, now with VIP added, it seems like Club Bing is forcing people to use IE and making people jump through hoops who use Windows 7.

I'm sure 9 AM to 10 PM on both accounts. Opens between 9 AM and 10 PM on the 18th and closes sometime between 9 AM and 10 PM on the 19th. It does say a 24 hour time span.

So uhh.. it's been 17 minutes past 9 pm est... and I kept refreshing and have seen nothing... what gives?

I'd just like to get in during a normal redemption. don't have much points to get anything good. Lockerz is terrible with organizing the site and prizes (wouldn't be surprised if the majority of these so called prizes were redeemed by hackers/multi accounts from Brazil)
 
Yeah, so glad I'm killing time waiting to waste imaginary points to register myself so I can possibly get involved with a bunch of other nimrods and just maybe burn more points in the off-chance that I might finally get something out of the site! Go Me!
 
Unlike most people here, I actually just went on and bought a redemption spot. Two of them, actually. After spending 250 points on 3 chances at a prize, I have 411 points left over. Here's to hoping for an iPod Touch!

I bought 1. I only had 187 points, so with the week left over, I should be able to earn enough for a game. Shooting for Heavy Rain. That'd be a nice birthday gift actually. If not that, Uncharted 2.

Thanks for the quick math. :) I'm just stoked that I actually know when to be on the computer. Last redemption, I was all set up, and then my sister HAD to use my computer to use make my mom a Facebook while I fixed her virus plagued machine. Yup.

I think it's deff. worth it as it's almost impossible to get a prize without knowing the times. 250ptz for me seemed good since I have over 1265ptz.

This next wave I now get to know when a restock will be so I'll at least get a chance at redeeming a prize rather then not doing anything at all.
 
yeah i guess but the onlly good thing i want is a ps3 or elite i guess i could get a wii but if i get stuck with a game it so wont be worth it

2. It's been hinted in the video that it will be in the evening. Why is it in the am when it's pretty obvious that people will work/school.

If you've redeemed before on Lockerz during a month when they announced the time, it usually gets pushed back a little while. It's better to give a small time frame than a set in stone time, as people may get restless if it starts a little later than on the dot.


There are three different times for each of the three Member Appreciation Redemptions.
 
How do we know what prizes will be there and how much they are? I want a Wii which I believe was 250 ptz before they changed things... or is it more now?

It will be the prizes they had listed before the Member Appreciation Redemption page came up. It will be down after 1 AM Est tomorrow morning, so the prizes should be back up to browse.

Yup it was show after you confirm the purchase. I would honestly be piss if They say my account is fraud again >.> They did that to me on the november redemption then said it was their mistake but still cancelled my order. However they gave me like 200 ptz as compensation which doesn't really do much good.

Well sucks cause when I went to order it just went to a white screen hit refresh and it just said I already bought it....

Can anybody who order 2 redeems please tell me the times I sent them an e-mail but I doubt they will reply before the 25th...
