It's honestly better to keep them to yourself, because you know there will be people out there trying to get to the Ptz Place during the redemption times who didn't sign up. We've all see the destructive things the collective of a certain website can be.

if i can come out of these 3 redemptions with a wii or a psp bundle i will be happy if i get stuck with a crappy game i would have wasted half my points for nothing

I won't waste PTZ on the 'extra but not guaranteed' chance. I'm either trying for a Wii at random times, or once I surpass 500 PTZ, I'll eBay the account and let that person worry about it being banned.
 
i purchased one and i didnt see the time anywhere. can someone pm me the time they have for wave 3 or confirm the time that is floating around in the earlier posts?
 
Good luck to all in this race. It seems like you will either hit or miss. I'll try my chance on the general redemption. I think that after the first wave, there will be nothing left over. Just a prediction..
 
dumb question but, do regular redemption times get mentioned in advance? I'm guessing no but, I'd at least like to know what day a redemption is. In case no one could infer, I did not sign up for that MAR thing (and never signed in during a redemption so don't know how it works).

They do not anymore. So you need to be very lucky to get a prize.

Pretty much what he said, except I would like to add people who didn't sign up for the MAR won't be able to log into the Ptz Place during those redemptions. The general redemption will (of course) be sometime between Feb. 26 Feb. 28.

okay thanks that clears some things up. Have past redemptions always been during the last few days of the month? Also what have been the typical durations, until most things are gone or a few hours?

Up until the past two redemptions, they have announced the exact dates, but the site would get pounded and have huge problems, so they've been doing their best to make the site 100% stable during redemption (one smaller problem during the Dec. redemption, and the January redemption had no problems) but they have typically been later in the month for every redemption. The past two have been pretty much the LAST day(s) of the month, and it'll be the same this month.

Usually, the prizes last around 10 minutes or so, usually less. They have about 158,000 fans on Facebook, so that should give you an idea of the number of users (that's excluding all the users who aren't friends with them on Facebook) and even if they get 1,000 items of each prize, they won't last long with the sheer number of users. They're doing their best to get the site stable then focus on trying to get more prizes, and keep them up 24/7 by upping the price by around 4x. This might sound like BS to a lot of people, but with some of the features Lockerz is looking to add (along with some stuff people should recommend, like the wonderful user rated content for ptz that a CAG member brought up earlier in the thread) Lockerz will be working to make everybody happy. Right now, they want to make sure people can successfully redeem items and keep the site stable.

Remember, back in August, they had a tiny user base, and now it's risen dramatically.
 
thanks for another explanation. I think lockerz would have been better off just limiting prizes to US/NA until they've built up their resources. I read about some problems with shipping international prizes, one particular instance was Brazil.

another simple question (;)), is there some indication or message that appears when you sign in that lets you know the redemption is live?

That is something I do somewhat agree with. Opening Lockerz up worldwide has definitely hammered it with problems, but it's somewhat better to get those problems out of the way before, rather than later. As for your second question, this is only a personal input, but so far the past two redemptions I was forced to re-login when the Ptz. Place went up.

We're doing our best to keep the times secret for the people who didn't redeem to keep them from trying to drag down the site.

Could just be me, but I can't get videos to work in Firefox. Tried clearing cookies/cache; the video acts like it wants to load but never does, don't know what else to try.

I had a little bit of a problem as well at first, but I just restarted Firefox and they started working.
 
Was surprised at the launch of PLAY, was expecting it to be released after the redemption.

Just watched Carpet Bros seems decent enough for 2 ptz each ep.

seems like it, I'm almost at 48 PTZ from watching all the videos. Just mute the video and open a new tab to do things I actually I want to do, and I'm set
 
if you plan on doing other browsing while the video plays, open a new tab before playing the video. if you open a new tab while it's playing when you get to the end you get a message saying you can only get points for one video at a time instead of the captcha for the points.

Negative, it's the opposite. Only the people who redeemed three chances go for all of them, people who redeemed only two go the second two waves, and the people who only redeemed one go on the last wave.


Also, any way to move this from Referral Central back to the free forum? Nobody refers in this thread anymore really, and I think it should be in the regular section.

No, not a petition. I sent a PM to the mod of the free stuff area and pointed out that this thread was created for talking about the site and not referrals. Plus, since there's not really been anybody posting anything about invites, I'm hoping it can move back out too. If not, it was at least worth a try.

I want that $25 PayPal Cash so I don't feel like I wasted time with this. Will it give me a code to redeem on my PayPal account? My lockerz email is different to my PayPal email.
