I got a similar letter too. Difference is, I actually was guilty of cheating. I created 20 different accounts using dummy emails to get enough referrals to secure Z-list status. As punishment, they docked me 60 ptz, but allowed me to keep all the other ptz that I had earned as well as allowing me to keep my z-list status.

I can totally see how they where able to accuse me (given that I was 100% guilty) but it’s a little bit surprising that they’re claiming this for people who are supposedly clean. Was there anything else about your order that might have caused them to pull this stunt?

I seem to recall a page or two back that some people had ordered some stuff off of shop and reported that they took advantage of unexpectedly high ptz discounts. Where you one of those people? If so, this may be there way of trying to weasel out of the order because they accidentally gave you too good of a deal.
 
Probably. The order cost me around 650 ptz which was the discounted ptz before the jack up the next day. So they are probably trying to cover themselves...... but still 650 points gone like that.

I got two DVDs for about 700 ptz or so (not entirely sure the exact number at this moment) but they can't accuse people of cheating for that. That was their problem, and if they cancel orders because members ordered discounted DVDs, then they should shove it. You should E-mail them and find out what they accused you of, because there is no reason they should have canceled your order over something small.
 
Fml, I was at the beach while they restocked, so no macbook for me. Guess there is always next month, probably have enough for the MBP by then. They also should be clearer in their "cheating" notices, at least it would give them more credibility in their claims if they could point out a specific violation. Also, if they want to become a respectable online retailer like they claim to be trying to do, stuff like canceling mispriced orders and accusing buyers of cheating doesn't exactly make people jump head over heels to go to the site and spend the time to earn points to buy stuff, especially when everything is sold at MSRP.
 
I ended up paying a boatload of ptz to get SSF4 and it took them 18 days to ship out the product needless to say if they want to be considered a healthy shop down the road they better speed up their order process or I won't be buying anything from them again anytime soon X_X

This happened to my brother.....accept they waited over a week to cancel his order, and then said sorry and gave him all his points back, but never sent him his DvD. I think they just use it as an excuse when they run out of stock....
 
got my copy of SSF4 yesterday , took them 22 days from the day i ordered it counting weekends to ship it to me. Needless to say I don't recommend shopping from there at all if you need the item asap.

Heh. Just logged onto Lockerz for the first time in six weeks. Explored a little bit and caught up on the thread here. Then I checked out Shop...

Wow...just wow. Glad I stopped wasting my time on the site. Oh, and I tried to watch a video to see how many points they're worth now, and received a "you can only watch one video at a time" message. Huh...and here I thought I WAS only watching one.

I'm a patient person, but I hit my limit a long time ago; I have a lot of respect for the people in this thread that have kept going.

yeah, play is super glitchy. Basically if you have to keep that tab open without doing anything else in that window (if you have another window open you typically are ok, but if you do anything else on Lockerz it will say you were watching another video), then you only have like 2 minutes after the video ends to input the captcha, or you'll get logged out, half the time you may get logged out anyway, and they still haven't added a way to sort videos by whether or not you've gotten points for them.

My plan basically is to stick it out one or two more boutiques in shop, get something I want, and then never, ever go back to Lockerz again.
 
It took about a week to get my Lockerz Iphone sticker thing.. Went ahead and cashed in so I could get in on the "special redemption" I was hoping they would only do it for Z-List USA since SHOP was only for us at that time. But nope.. now its open to all US that bought something in SHOP. Hopefully they actually give us a date/time or a window. Would love to actually attempt to cash in on a prize. But I doubt I will get anything since Lockerz only has maybe 1 of each item.

If I dont get anything in this redemption I think I will just dump all my points in on something in SHOP & quit this crap site (Lockerz) once & for all.

I don't think that buying a game or DVD alone is worth it, especially with having to wait so long to receive it, but I can't really complain with what I have coming for free. Regardless, I'm just gonna watch the rest of the videos, then buy a DVD or something in a month and probably stop visiting after as well.

The black Nixon Lodown watch, the American Hardcore DVD, and the Meshuggah DVD. Some items have decent ptz totals for SHOP, but other items are a bit wonky.. It's funny that I can get a $90 watch for less ptz than a $50 game they have on there...
 
Redemption live. The 32 gig iPad has been up for at least 4 minutes... Probably gone now, but it's stayed for longer than I've seen most electronics...

overpriced DVD's and I don't have enough ptz. for a Macbook which i want to get since a buddy of mine wants to buy one off me if i get one and I could srsly use the cash X_X
 
yeah Im shocked stuff was still up as long as it was.. well not really most of it is crap.. All the good stuff I am sure was long gone. The other stuff people dont have enough points for. Or they dont want to waste 2000+ points for DVDs.
 
Well I'm done with Lockerz now. I was hoping that they would at least include some good prizes in the redemption, but now it seems like they just hold all the high demand items for SHOP. I'm almost at 5000 points, so I'll get a free game and then I'm through.
 
I think I actually successfully redeemed a Ipod Touch 32GB in this bonus redemption today. I could have gotten the 64GB if I had about 25 more PTZ. But I'm not complaining :)

It actually didn't go very fast. I was on the school computer and I had to type everything in manually and I was still able to get it

Didn't expect them to do another bonus redemption today. Might have had a chance to snag me that 64gb ipod touch that you weren't able to get. Oh well., there's always the next redemption.

They added more netbooks to the redemption page......But with the asus at the same point price as the 13" macbook, I don't understand why you'd choose the asus over the mac
 
You know, I don't like how they don't really tell you when they are anymore. I always end up forgetting. So now I have like 1,600 points and probably wont spend any of them because I never know when the redemptions are.

Yeah, you'd only go for one of the netbooks if the macbooks are all gone. Which will happen in under 10 seconds.

Speaking as somebody who is typing this post on an Eee PC, I'll never buy another netbook. This sucker is only slightly more powerful than your average calculator. I'd have to think twice about getting one for free.
 
They’re giving out triple PTZ right now for accepted invites.

Translation - they need to replace all the people who are cashing in their PTZ and abandoning the site.

Also triple points for play videos starting tomorrow. Glad I didnt watch the new videos they put out these past 2 weeks yet.
 
Great! My order just got canceled for one of two reasons: 1) "a shortage of the item due to an unusually high demand" or 2) "account activity that violates our Terms". Seeing as the item I ordered is still in stock, I'm going to assume it is the second, which is bullshit because I've been using their site legit for almost a year now.

Supposedly I'll be receiving a detailed explanation of why my order was canceled, within 24 hours (1 week in Lockerz time). Can't wait!

Baggu Bag - Duffel

Ordered it yesterday, and it just now got labeled as "Going Fast". I wanted to get into the next special redemption because the last one, things didn't go immediately. Left it to where I would spend .84 cents and used about 900 PTZ.

I wish I could give you some advice, but since we've been out of the loop for about two months, all I can say is hope that they fucked up and straighten things out... But, who knows if that will happen. Hopefully they refund you your Ptz.
 
I hope they don't raise the prices too much, I managed to get ~1000 ptz from the triple point promo and already had enough for a macbook, so hopefully that will be enough to spend 79 cents on a mousepad or something else cheap and still have whatever it costs for the Macbook. Btw, does anybody know the last date to buy into the special redemption off the top of their head (if they announced it yet), I kinda want to see the price points on items before deciding if I have enough spare points to buy something useful on shop.
