Yeah, they are definitely trying to draw in a bunch of new members by making it look like its super easy to get $1000 electronics. On the bright side, new members don't know what they are in for come redemption day, us oldies know its first 10 seconds or wallpapers while they think that there will be an excess of prizes there all day.

They've said before (awhile ago) that auto-refreshers were not acceptable, but who knows if they can catch it or not.
 
Debating if Redemption is worth my time.. The general one isnt as everyone knows. But Im wondering if the SHOP one is. Last time some nice stuff lasted a while. But that was before this triple point + low price special.

I might drop the $.79 and take a chance. If not then I will just cash in on a game or something in SHOP & be done.
 
Ha! I ordered some Ice Cream Maltballs off of Shop to get my entry in the special redemption. Arrived today and the dumbasses shipped it through UPS without any type of refrigeration on a 90 degree day. Needless to say, all I got was a tub of melted goop. Go Lockerz!!!

Yea they did ship pretty fast, but it doesn't do me any good if I can't eat it. Apparently the stuff is solid at room temperature, as it has now hardened again, although now it is just a swirl of nastiness. I guess they didn't account for the hot weather... in the summer :roll:.

True, I never did really think of that... I just don't see how they would transport chocolate in the summer without it melting... Maybe they should have saved it for winter, but regardless... Kind of a stupid idea.
 
Do you guys remember if they normally allow you to redeem the same item between the general and shop redemption? I doubt anybody has been able to pull that off, but just wondering.

I'd say it's limited to the 28th to 30th, as I don't think they've ever had a redemption on the weekend before

LOL dude.. Its all but impossible to redeem in the general redemption now. You will be Lucky to get something in either especially if you are going for the bigger items. The only reason why the last bonus redemption lasted as long as it did was because some stuff was way over priced. Now with low prices & 3 times points stuff will be gone in no time.

They stopped doing the bonus questions on the dailies a few days ago for me. Is this the same for everybody?

I'm wondering if I've been bumped from their polling because I keep answering "Never heard of them" to every question that they ask.

I believe the term you're looking for is "Hipster douchbags". Though I think they're more a cross between stoner burnouts & Hipster douchbags.

Of course, I "watch" all the videos with the sound muted, so perhaps I've got them all wrong. They might be a cross between a Rhodes scholar and somebody really cool, like Dean Martin & Frank Sinatra.

Was thinking about saying screw it to the redemption & just cashing in on a game now.. Maybe I missed it but apparently you cant get a game for free.. even if you have enough points for both the game & the shipping.. Anyone else notice this?

If I use all the points for the game then they want $10 to ship.. Or if I use all my points except pay $1.80 then I can use my points for free shipping & only have to pay $1.80

Edit: Never Mind.. I didnt have enough Points left at the time for Shipping so it wasnt there. Once I watched more videos it was there.

Now do I take my chance and spend $.78 or w/e on something I wont use like a IPHONE Skin & hope to get something in the Special Redemption (General Redemptions are full of scripts & cheats) or just spend the points & get a game on Monday/Tues when they restock

No, I don't think that is correct. Shipping on games (or possibly all items) is now 175 ptz instead of 150, so maybe you just need to watch one more video. If you have the price of a game + 175 ptz, I don't know what to tell you.


I want them to bring back the Aerial7 headphones... The reviews of the chopper2 line has been pretty positive... Maybe if they bring em back in a few weeks, I'll be able to get a pair of the Tanks. Hell, watching videos like crazy for a week with triple ptz to get a pair of $80 headphones sure beats wasting days trying to make the redemption.

Some of the videos I actually do take the time to watch. The food dude isn't as good as Adam Richman, but they did have a Polar Bear Club music video, and I thought the old Justin Beiber video was pretty funny, although it was on other sites before Lockerz.

I am not either. I am not sure if they tested them to see if they were worth it and just decided to scrap the idea, or if they are going to bring them back... A LAB E-mail sure would be nice :lol:
 
No matter how many times I try to get ptz for the playing "Unsung Heros of Rock - D Generation", it keeps telling me that the video is "too popular" and that I should try again later. The fucking video is over 10 minutes long,too. I've tried 5 or 6 times already to play it. So that's like an hour of not being able to listen to music because I've got the audio muted while that video is playing in another tab.

This is obviously a glitch. The question is, is everybody else experiencing that glitch?

Same, I failed on it twice and just gave up on that video. One video doesn't make a huge difference to me, and I'll probably hold off on watching videos again until they have another double ptz video month...

And yeah, the key seems to be to wait till a triple or double points time to watch videos rather than keeping up on them. I feel like Lockerz is ultimately going to regret setting that precedent when it comes to their ads and licensing.
 
I love how they kept "extending" the deadline to enter the General Redemption until the end of the month AGAIN. It's a good way to keep up traffic, because they know no one will bother with the site between a redemption and the start of another month.
 
I'm almost at 10,000 points now, even with all the points they've stolen from me. I'm thinking of cashing out and getting a couple games, before they raise the prices again. With all these 2x and 3x, you know it is inevitable.

Ahh, I thought the triple ptz were ending at 11 PM Eastern on the 26th (tonight)... I just meant I'm not gonna watch any more videos for awhile until they have another double or triple ptz span...

I'm not I had read that anywhere, but for me I'm still getting 12 PTZ a video.

I don't like how they've extended the deadline to get into the redemption; combined with the Triple PTZ, the prizes are gonna go quicker than they already do- 5 seconds, anybody?

And, although I'd love trying to get into an exclusive SHOP redemption, I don't live in the US. I was tempted to send a random house owner something from SHOP though, as long as I could redeem to my own address. Anybody else wondering whether they'll make SHOP open to International members? Or PTZ Place 24/7? Also thinking of suggesting that they do a redemption for members who have not yet redeemed; I qualified for 5 redemptions, but with no win. :cry: Maybe not at the moment though, with all the noobs around.

Ahhh, my mistake was reading that they extended the deadline to earn the 50 ptz... I mistakenly thought they meant double ptz was only until the 26th. At this point, I've given up on redemptions. When they would announce the time for the redemption, you usually had to wait around for about an hour for it to go live, but now it's too much, especially when you have little to no chance to get anything. I think the ptz values are pretty decent in SHOP, though, since right now you can get a $60 game shipped with 2 - 4 days worth of work, depending on how much you watch a day. The actual prices are not the best at all, especially on DVDs, but I'm sure they aren't looking to compete with retailers. I doubt I'd buy anything from them, but using a discount and a few dollars for an item and waiting a few weeks isn't too bad in my opinion. But we've all learned one thing.... Don't buy chocolate from them :D
 
did not know there was such a big thread about lockerz on here. I am a part of lockerz since February. I redeemed 2 ps3 games, uncharted 2 and heavy rain.
 
Anybody able to get on the site right now? I've been getting unable to connect for an hour, but downforeveryoneorjustme is saying its up.
 
All freaking day I've been having problems of the video playing and then bringing me to the "my locker" page when it ends forcing me to rewatch it to get points. Son bitch.
 
Thinking I'm ip banned now, somebody on facebook is having a similar problem and got a message back from support saying he was ip banned for breaking the terms and conditions, but his account wasn't affected(lol) and conveniently the bans last one week, so I'll probably miss out on both redemptions if thats the case. Going to try and get a new ip overnight by releasing my DHCP lease and leaving the dsl gateway off overnight, hopefully that works or I'm hoping its just a glitch on lockerz's server. May try sending an email to support in the morning if I don't get a new ip, the CAG thing worked itself out overnight so maybe this will too.

That's a possibility. I believe they did another redemption on a day the had new SHOP boutiques, but I could be wrong and it could have been the day prior to new boutiques and they pushed the boutiques back a day.

*EDIT* By the way, you mean the general redemption, right? Because you still have all of today to get into the bonus redemption.

You're still having problems? When you try to load the page, does it get stuck at "resolving host"? I saw you said you were having problems with CAG not loading, and that happens to me for hours at a time at least twice a week.
