Madden 09 League-Congratulations Soodmeg!

If it turns out to be a flop, we can have a small league of the people who actually want to complete this and make it a Madden Online League.

I think in a week we will find out who is really interested and we can trim the fat. I am throwing my hat in there for a condensed league with the Giants if it happens. In the meantime I am making sure I don't suck so bad when the league does start. :D

I think that's what it's going to come to...what a damn shame man. fuck these online leagues. Should I call EA and talk to someone in support and tell them I just can't find Madden leagues on my game?

Also how about someone creating a silver CAG Madden account so fellow cags can find each other play some games of Madden. I am not a fan of playing people online that I don't know but if there is no one else to play with at the time sometimes you just have to bite the bullet.

Never mind, I don't think I'll have Madden long enough to do a full season and I don't want to drop out midway through.

I just want to check and I don't think anyone on here would play like it for a fun CAG league, but the WR direct snap glitch isn't allowed, right? I don't want to start playing people and end up wanting to kill them.

Wow, I haven't played Madden online yet, so I didn't know about that yet. I just looked it up and it seems that it is pretty common in the online games. I sure hope that no one in our leagues uses it to win.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be less likely to do random online games now.

Well I posted a message last night saying I would do the league since human vs human games were much better experience for me than playing against the CPU.

But right now it looks like I have my Madden CE sold, so I didn't want to commit to the league if I wasn't going to be able to finish it off. If you need someone to be the bears in week 1, I can play the game just to help you guys out until you find a replacement. There's a chance I'll be shipping this game out on Wednesday though.

It says it's moderate, but I haven't had problems connecting to anyone but you. I'm not saying it's your fault, but I don't know what the issue is. And I did try making it open, but... Well, here's what I posted in the General Info/Questions thread:

Yeah...thats really weird. No hard feelings on this side. I'll have to check my NAT setting, but its never been anything but open...
 
I don't have the game anymore mainly because I couldn't justify the $90 purchase. I may end up getting the regular edition from TRU with the buy 1 get 1 half off and also use the extra 20% of to get a good deal on the game.

But I'm not sure if Matt would like me to do that though. ;)
