Yeah, sorry. My XBL account is BostonDynasty. I tried to contact you to see if it was alright if I joined. Hopefully I can get in touch with Gregbales tonight to get that game done.
 
I think N8 might want to join this league commish so I would hold his spot open since Jagged's league seems all but dead.
 
Can I play my week 3 game? Who ever is the Buccs please message me and lets get a game. Sorry commish. But its a 3 day weekend and I havent heard from my Carolina opponent yet. Though he has contacted me we couldnt meet up the one day he could play last week.


This is the down fall of not having a flex schedule. I hate waiting for people and getting stuck on one week for 6 or 7 days.
 
If you want to play your week 3 games, go nuts.
HOWEVER, I'm not putting up the schedule yet, so:
1) Make sure you have the right opponent
2) Don't post the results here until Week 3 is active.
3) I mean, you can play ANY of your games, because I can't really stop you. Just keep record of them and make sure you don't post it in here until the week comes up.
4) I think it keeps the fun if you do it weekly though.

Also, for N8, since I'm sure he'll be 100% legit, I'll personally hand him whatever spot opens next.

As long as both of you are fine with playing 2 quarters and pretending its 14-7 at the beginning, its fine with me.
If either of you has a problem with it, just start fresh.

Ok, so theres only 1 game left and neither of them can be booted because they're too new. Deadline for them is Thursday, the 4th...but you still have to play yo Week 2 games by the deadline.

I just PM'ed my opponent attempting to set up a time for tonight or tomorrow. We were supposed to play earlier this week, but our schedules haven't matched up. He's been very good about keeping in touch, though. He's just busy with work and moving into a new place.
 
Yeah. And to DJSteel, from what I know GregBales is legit.
Deadline is moved to Sunday, (Friday to Sunday sound good?) and Week 3 will start tomorrow.

So SteveMcQ and I disconnected approximately 5 or 6 times and I'm so pissed its not even funny. Mostly because my record is now 1/11 after disconnects from Me vs. Gregbales and Me Vs. SteveMcQ.
Both their records are untouched.
I don't fucking get it. My NAT is open and everything...
Argh.
FWIW, I told him I just couldn't take it anymore.
We never even made it to the end of the 1st (less than a minute to go twice). The only thing that ever happened was 7-0 me.
That was awful.
If that was all me, my apologies for wasting your time SteveMcQ!

That's weird. Between all that and our inability to connect, and your NAT being open, I'd say maybe you need a new ISP. I'm not sure how ti is in Canada, but I had horrible service with Time Warner cable. Verizon DSL is great, though.
 
AndJuan and I got in our week two game. Falcons Vs Bucs, Falcons 14 and Bucs 7. I ended up with a touchdown after fumbled punt return that was the deciding factor. Pretty good matchup overall.
 
I need to play gregthomas77 for our second week. To be honest I dont see us getting it done. Its hard to coordinate with a guy who only post 1 time on the entire site a day.

And only twice in this actually thread.

It's weird that it counted the disconnects against you though. There was a menu that came up after each disconnect and it said whether to continue vs. CPU or quit. I'd quit and select the option not to count any of the stats in the game so I assumed that didn't count the disconnect against you. Sorry if I chose the wrong option. I thought it was something about the server though considering it was around 9pm EST when we played. I checked my NAT settings too a minute before we started and it was set to "Open".
 
Ha. I am not dissing anything but this league is falling apart around us.

Disconnects, lag, ghosting, just another day at the madden league!

Ah well I will be around to the very end I suppose.

I think I've just had a couple bad runs with connections.

Good game greg a couple things didnt go your way but if you would have had more time I think you could have come back.


Bears out last Panthers is Euro Opener.


The Panthers host the 2nd annual euro game to the Bears and we have all of the action in cased you missed the 10:00 am American start time.

We apologize for the lack of information for today game as our Euro feed went down.
AKA Madden fucking froze on the end game screen so I couldnt access any stats.fucking EA

The weather was a factor as winds were reported to be up to 14 mph with heavy rain fall. Stand out return man Devin Hester said before the game, "I love this type of weather. It makes it easier to break ankles and get free." And it didnt take him long to show why you always need a podiatrist on hand when vsing the Bears. On the opening drive he makes a fool of 2 Panthers defensive man breaking out of one tackle then spinning past the other on his way to a 51 yard TD reception early in the first quarter.

Through the 2nd the Panther managed to double up with 2 TD passes from QB Jake Delhomme while the Bears only manage a FG score after 2 is Bears 10- Panthers 14. Later in the 3rd Bears shutout Carolinas offense while manging to score via the running game which piled up over 140 through out the contest.

Bears defense sailed the rest of the way as they shut out the Panthers in both the 3rd and 4th quarter including a goal line stand to close out the game.

Bears win 25 to 14.
